Wir hatten eine sehr schƶne Zeit in diesem wundervollen Haus. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Ausstattung des Hauses sehr gut. Selten hatten wir so eine gut ausgestattete KĆ¼che in einem Ferienhaus. In dem Haus kann man Geschichte atmen, es ist groƟ, verwinkelt und sehr gut restauriert. Allerdings sollte man keine kƶrperlichen EinschrƤnkungen haben, da es mehrere Treppen im Haus gibt. Es gibt auch keine ParkplƤtze am Haus, da es in einer autofreien Zone liegt. Aber in ca. 500m Entfernung gibt es kostenlose Parkmƶglichkeiten.

Six of us spent six wonderful nights in this amazing, beautifully decorated spot. Photos donā€™t capture the incredible views (from all bedrooms) and ambiance of the place. You will love the small town - two great boulangeries and several good restaurants (make a reservation at Cinq if you can!!). Beds were comfortable, the three bathrooms were a real plus (more towels would be nice though, since thereā€™s a 15 per person linen/towel charge). We would return in a heartbeat! Host was very helpful with check in and extremely friendly. Highest recommendation!

This is an amazing home nestled within a medieval village. The home has an updated kitchen with modern conveniences such as coffee maker, microwave, stovetop and dishwasher. Just up the street is a Michelin star restaurant as well as artisan shops and galleries. The view from the top floor terrace is spectacular!

Das Haus hat sehr viel Flair und ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Seine ruhige Lage in der sehr urigen und schƶnen Altstadt und der fantastische Ausblick Ć¼ber die weite Landschaft von der Terrasse und den Fenstern aus sind einfach spitze. An Manchem merkt man, dass es ein Altbau ist, da sollte man nicht allzu pingelig sein, die AtmosphƤre macht das wieder wett. FĆ¼r Familien mit Kleinkindern und fĆ¼r Menschen mit Gehschwierigkeiten ist das Haus nicht so geeignet, denn es hat recht steile Treppen, eine Terrasse am Steilfelsen mit niedriger Mauer und der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus ist etwas weiter und geht vorwiegend Ć¼ber Kopfsteinpflaster. FĆ¼r normal fitte Erwachsene ist die Lage aber ein Traum, denn gemĆ¼tliche CafĆ©s und Restaurants sind in Gehreichweite und das Haus ist ein super Ausgangspunkt fĆ¼r Wanderungen und Radtouren. Zum Meer fƤhrt man mit dem Auto ca. 40 Minuten. Die Hausverwalterin ist sehr sympathisch und freundlich und die Kommunikation mit ihr persƶnlich und per WhatsApp unkompliziert und sehr nett (Englisch und Franzƶsisch). Wir hƤtten gern noch mehr Zeit in diesem Haus verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

I stayed here for a week with my family and, TLDR; although there are some drawbacks you should be aware of, I found myself fall in love with this village and certainly this house in the end. I hope we will return next year. Let's start with the drawbacks: - The property info on Expedia/Vrybo could've been clearer about the cleaning/linen charges that come extra. TBH it's fair, considering the price we got - Village car park is about 5 mins walk from the house so mind your luggage. It is usually full, but 2mins drive away/10mins walk away there are two big, free car park. That worked perfectly for us. - You will have to be careful about organised events in the village, read the car park signs VERY CAREFULLY as sometimes the car park is used for events and all cars that did not leave will get towed. - Not many shops available and fresh produce is expensive Now the positives - the house is massive and very well equipped and modernised - it has STUNNING views that I immediately fell in love with. You can see the coast line along Nice/Antibes/Monaco in the day and star gaze at your bedroom window size in the deep night - the village itself is beautiful, one of the largest in the local mountain area. There is even a Michelin star restaurant. People are very friendly. - very nice location with easy access to various attractions in the mountain: Pont du Loup, Gourdon, and many canyoning sites - good price and very friendly, helpful host/property manager

We loved this medieval village home and the gorgeous views from the windows! Took a little time to get used to no AC while under a heat advisory, but the property Manager Isy, was so helpful and brought us an extra fan after one stopped working in the middle of the night. The village was quaint and had everything within a short walking distance. Thank you again for hosting us!

Amazing location. Particularly loved the patio area with the incredible views. It was so quiet and peaceful. Bottom floor where 2 bedrooms and bathrooms are located is rather damp with a mildewy smell. Parked in main town square parking lot (2 minute walk from apartment) and it worked great for first 3 nights. I was surprised to see my car on flatbed tow truck on our last morning. Thereā€™s a weekly market on Wednesday mornings and all vehicles in lot get towed away. I paid the fine and was able to get my vehicle back. Just something to keep in mind if you stay in Tourettes.

Great views lovely village

We really loved village as it was quiet, interesting and in a good location to see many other medieval villages and approx.45 mins to the coast of Nice and Antibes. However the 2 bathrooms downstairs especially the shower is mouldy and musty. The upstairs shower and downstairs ensuite are handheld showers only over a bath which was a bit hard to use. Also the owner controls the heating in the house from afar. In my opinion the house needed a really good clean especially in the kitchen and a bit of reorganising of cupboards etc it felt a bit dissapointing after all the amazing reviews. Note also the free carparking is a bit of a walk to get to. On the positive side there is a supermarket in Vence and 2 great patisserie in the village. The view is spectacular and there are plenty of restaurants in the village and a small market during the week. Loved meeting some of the talented artists and artisans in the village.

Extraordinary historic house

We felt so lucky to stay in this historic house in Tourettes-sur-Loup. While one can enjoy being (almost) in a museum (tourists were stopping and photographing the house), the house is fully modernized and equipped and easily fitted our group - three generations.Enjoy the history, the surroundings, and the breathtaking view.

Das Haus und die Umgebung sind ein Traum. Das Haus ist Ć¼ber mehrere Etagen groƟzĆ¼gig geschnitten und charmant und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Blick von der Terrasse zu jeder Tageszeit umwerfend. Alles zauberhaft schƶn! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tourrettes in March

Breathtaking medieval village with lovely home overlooking the local hills & valleys. Easy multi-day parking at free public lot at edge of village. Easy walk. Home has very modern well equipped kitchen and updates throughout. Great local restaurants abound in village along with interesting wine boutiques. Leahā€™s was great source for local regional Bellet wines.

A gem in the middle of a small medieval village

The house is exactly as described in the listing. First, we highly recommend this house and would definitely stay again. Here are the highlights and pointers:There are 2 large free parking lots at the entrance to the village. There is a pathway from the lower lot, under a bridge, that leads directly to the village and is less than 10 minute walk to the house. We rented an electric vehicle and there is a Wiiiz charger with 2 ports in the upper lot (50 Route de la Madeleine, 06140, Tourettes-sur-loup - also convenient address to find the parking lots). The house is charming and very comfortable. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom. There is a terrace with table and chairs and is the perfect place for breakfast and views (even in Dec/Jan!). There are a few things you may find helpful to know: There is a washing machine and dryer in the kitchen, but the owner does not provide detergent. We recommend bringing soap for bathing. There is ample shelf and cupboard space, but no closets or hangers. There are plenty of extra warm comforters and several pillows to choose from, but they only provide 1 bath towel per person and a hand towel. We also had to buy more toilet paper. The kitchen is well stocked, including basic spices and sugar.The property manager was away for the holidays but was extremely responsive to emails and we managed just fine.We highly recommend a dinner at Cinq. 5 course dinner, menu changes daily. Run by a charming couple. Best meal.

A truly unique place to stay

Staying there is like stepping back 500 years without the downsides of medieval life. The three story stone house with large exposed beams and the remains of a "walk-in" cooking fireplace adds to the "another place and time" experience. The rooms are spacious with good light, the kitchen well equipped and the beds comfortable. The view is of cliffs and valleys with the sea in the distance and even a waterfall. Although we did not meet the owner, communication by Whatsapp worked fine. The only negative, and it didn't bother us, is that the free parking lot is a less than ten minutes walk away. Only a problem if it's raining. Would love to stay there again.

We had 2 wunderfull weeks in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in the Linton house. The house is well equiped and cozy. Tourrettes-sur-Loup is a nice old village which is well situated to reach nearer surroundings as well as the cost within a short space of time. We visited the nice villages nearby, Nice and Menton, used rainy days for museum visits, did some hicking tours in the hills around and made a trip to Gorges de Verdon as well. Summarizing we can say we had a relaxing and interesting time here in the south of France.

Spectacular location with your very own personal sunrise.

A deceptively large property which manages to be both in the heart of, and on the edge of, the village at the same time. It has all the amenities you would expect so that you can comfortably enjoy your stay. Communication with Isy was excellent. This is your chance to stay in a French Hill Top Village. The views at sunrise are indescribable, so you'll have to come and see them for yourself.

Perfect medieval experience

The town is magically as you approach the house. The house is amazing. The view is breathtaking. You are taken back in time but with modern conveniences. The beds are very comfortable. The house is very spacious. We absolutely loved it.
