Perfect accommodation to relax and to enjoy the sun set

Perfect accommodation to relax, great sunset view with good restaurants right next door. - very clean- very good equipped, 2 coffee maschines, micro wave & oven & washing machine, huge refrigerator, dish washer - and much more - everything usable and clean- very nice balcony with a great view, the photos are real- directly next to the beach- own parking spot behind the house- AC perfect- TV in the bed room- very nice bath with clean shower, modern style- much moreWhe likes to relax in Kalamaki and enjoys a little town away from the hustle and bustle of Heraklion & Co. is absolutely right - very nice host and family who has been absolutely cooperative and service oriented. - You have your privacy, very nice for a couple of days to chillThank you Manos

everything was just perfect

Perfect apartment at the seaside with lots of nice amenities. There is even a milk frother! Communication with Manos was also great. It is totally quiet in the apartment. If you open the window, you can hear the sound of the sea at night. There is hardly any traffic, so we could let the kids go to the beach by themselves, while we chilled on the balcony watching them from the distance. Awesome! And also nice restaurants in walking distance. We will definitely come back :)

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Das Meer ist so nah, man hört es Nacht. Wir haben es genossen. Außerdem ist die Wohnung hervorragend ausgestattet- nichts fehlt. Auch die Herzlichkeit der Vermieter ist so toll 😀

Great appointment

This is a great apartment and I t’s in a lovely location. It’s right on the beach and is close to many restaurants. (A different one for every day). The apartment is a good size. It has a large bedroom with a large bed, and plenty of storage space. It has an open planed kitchen, dinning and lounge area, and the sofa opens up as an extra double bed too. The bathroom looks new and the outside space/balcony is comfortably bigger enough for 6 people. Like others have mentioned, the apartment has everything you need for your stay. Towels, plus extra towels if needed, bedding, and again with extra if needed. The kitchen is fully loaded. Hob, cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, all utensils etc. Not that you’ll need to use it, what with the restaurants all in walking distance. (Nice to have though). If your looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, on the beach and with amazing views, (The sunsets are amazing), then I would highly recommend this apartment, Communication with the owner Manos, was good and he was always available if needed.

A fabulous return to Kalamaki Riveria!

We were lucky enough to have two weeks in this great apartment for the second time this year. It is perfect for our needs and it has, in our opinion, the best view in Kalamaki, with its view of the islands in the bay, and the mountains. It’s the perfect spot for watching the sun go down night after night from the balcony. The apartment was spotless. It is comfortably furnished with a super king-size bed and a newly refurbished bathroom. The aircon is efficient and everything you need is provided for self catering, if you fancy eating in. Manos is always prompt with responses to any queries and a friendly host. We hope to return again next year!

Very nice and super clean appartement

All you need is there. Full equipped kitchen even with coffee, olive oil and a bottle of wine in the fridge. Everything was super clean. Even towels for the beach are available.

Wonderful stay

Everything was nice. The communication with Manos. The weather... 27 degree in March. The beach directly in front of the house. The flat is big and has everything you need.

Our Stay at Kalamaki Beach

This was a superb apartment with a postcard perfect view of the Libyan Sea and sunsets that took our breath away. Our host and those who helped him could not have done more to make our stay more pleasant. We visited archaeological sites across Crete, using this apartment as our base. Be sure to go to the Moires market on Saturday mornings, sit at one of the cafés, and make friends with those around you, it's an experience you won't forget.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Zwei Wochen in toller Lage direkt am Starnd von Kalamaki. Ein kleines Örtchen mit allem was man braucht, um die kretische Sonne, die kretische Küche und das kretische Meer zu genießen. Unkomplizierte, sehr freundliche und reaktionsschnelle Kommunikation im Vorfeld mit dem Vermieter (Manos). Sehr freundlich empfangen von seiner Mutter (Katharina), mit der wir weitere Male in persönlichem Kontakt standen. Kuchen, Wasser, eine Flasche Wein und Öl als Willkommens-Geschenk! Klasse! Um anfängliche Probleme mit der Klima hat sich Katharina umgehend gekümmert und eine sehr schnelle Reparatur veranlasst. Das Appartement war für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt! Phantastisch ist der Blick vom Balkon aufs Meer. Ansonsten überall kurze Wege - wunderbar! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen! Danke an Manos & Katharina! Wir kommen gerne mal wieder...!

Great seaside apartment in Kalamaki

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well located, seaside apartment. The view of the beach is fantastic. It is lovely to be able to sit inside, or outside on the balcony and have a sea view all the time. An awning protects the balcony from the full heat and force of the sun and this along with palms in front of the apartment block provide some privacy when you are on the balcony. The apartment is clean, spacious and well equipped. You will have everything you need. The bed is big and comfortable. Efficient quiet air-conditioning in the main living area and the bedroom kept us cool, even when it was super hot outside. Parking is in a secure area behind the apartment. The apartment is right by the beach, a few steps across a simple, quiet roadway and you are there. It is also a stone’s throw away from a selection of restaurants and cafes and a few minutes walk from the mini market. Very convenient and yet peaceful. Manos and his family looked after us brilliantly. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for a relaxing holiday by Kalimaki beach.

Ohne Zweifel die beste Wohnung in Kalamaki

die Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel, excellent sauber und wirklich mit allem ausgestattet, als ob es eine eigene Ferienwohnung wäre. Wenn man nicht am Strand liegen möchte, gab es uneinsichtige Sonnebliegen auf dem Riesenbalkon. In der Küche fanden sich eine gute Flasche Wein, Wasser, Gewürze, Honig und einiges mehr, und das beste ein Olivenöl ever. Katerina, die Gastgeberin, ist unschlagbar kretisch herzlich, unaufdringlich und wundervoll. Sie versorgte uns mit Unmengen an selbstgeernteten Orangen, Zitronen, Aprikosen, dem besten Schokoladenkuchen der Welt, gefüllten Teigtaschen, gefüllten Weinblättern, Lammtopf u.a. Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt, dem ist wohl auch nicht mehr zu helfen. Die Wohnung liegt in der ersten Strandreihe mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Und diese unmittelbare Nähe zum lebendigen Auf und Ab des Meeres ist sicherlich eine Reise wert. Zwar gibt es neuerdings etliche neuerbaute luxury Villas, dem äußeren Anschein nach sind die aber nicht mit diesem alteingesessenen großzügigen Bau vergleichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen!

Perfect Location!

Manos and Katerina were very welcoming and responsive. The beachfront view was amazing and everything we needed was a short stroll away. Wonderful restaurants, groceries, supplies, etc. it was super quiet and relaxing. The only thing missing was beach towels for those who travel light.
