Slack's Edgewater Beach Resort is located 6 miles east of Hayward, Wisconsin, one of the busiest and best shopping centers in Northern Wisconsin. We are one mile from the LCO Casino and convenience store. Located in Edgewater Bay on one of the cleanest lakes in the Hayward area, Round Lake, this family-owned resort consists of two, two-bedroom cabins (plus sofa sleeper), and has much to offer vacationers.

You will find Round Lake to be a majestic body of clear blue water. Its many bays offer fishermen safe fishing, even on the windiest days. About every species of fresh water fish are found in Round Lake, from the fighting Musky to the beautiful Blue Gill. For fishing, swimming, boating, and water skiing, Round Lake is an ideal lake.

Boats & Motors: A fishing boat comes with your cottage, with a local marina within a couple miles for the convenience of motor rentals. In the alternative, you may bring your own fishing boat, speed boat, or pontoon.

Beach:
Your whole family will enjoy our wonderful sand beach, diving float, paddle boat, and canoes.

Our swimming area has no drop-offs and is completely free of weeds.

Fishing:
Many rock beds are nearby, which makes for great fishing. We have even had guests catch a great panfish dinner straight off the docks.

Weekly Cook Out:
Weekly cookout hosted on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. where a home cooked meal and camaraderie is to be had by all.

Please note: Reservations for more than 4 people are subject to a $100 a week/per person charge to cover the additional laundry, cleaning, etc. fees.

Relaxing

The cabin, view and beach side was great. Fishing lacked some fish but otherwise everything was terrific. Host was amazingly kind and made our stay comforting. Would definitely rent again.

Lake front beauty

It was wonderful! So close to the water and it was clean and beautiful. Rock free sandy beach and all along the dock. Great swimming, fishing and relaxing. The Cedar cottage was cute and quaint. Perfect size for our family. My 3 year old loved all of it! The beach and swimming were perfect for her and us also. Great time and will defiantly be coming back again. Thanks Marie for your hospitality!

Great spot on Round

Had a great few days at the property. Everything was as advertised. Very clean and nice. Really close to water and a place to launch boat was really close. Will stay again.

Slice of heaven

Owner greeted us warmly on arrival. Cabin was clean, comfortable and had a stunning view of the lake. Our 2 and 4 year old ran out the door straight to the beach every morning. The owner was kind enough to dock the fishing boat for us and every day my husband rowed our daughter out to do a little fishing. There is a nice walk from the cabin with views of the beautiful changing leaves, other cabins and the lake. The cabin was stocked with any cooking utensils you would need and even had a DVD player with expanded cable for when the kids needed some downtime. The beds were comfortable and plenty of seating space. The owner even gifted us a jar of her families jam. I hate to even write this review as I would prefer to keep this place a secret. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just what we needed…

Marie, the hostess, was so hospitable (reminded me of my grandma🙂). The cottage was cozy, clean, and felt like our own little lake house. Being literally feet away from the lake with our own dock and fire pit was so ideal. If you need to go to town, it is 10 minutes away. Bring your own towels. Be prepared to unplug, because cell reception is scarce. Beds are creaky but comfortable. Most of all just relax and take in the sounds of nature and the roaring of a fire.

Treat Yourself !!

Greeted by our wonderful host, this little peace of heaven in Sawyer county is a gem. Hidden away in its own sandy bay, own dock, fishing and paddle boat provided, our entire family of four had a fun, adventurous and relaxing week break. Cabin is clean and well looked after even has a fish house for cleaning the daily catch!!😁. Already rebooked for next year. A++

Small, charming cabin right on the water in a peaceful bay.

Nice welcome from our host, nice dock, nearby public landing for our boat, small clean kitchen, quiet stay. Only four miles from charming town. We had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Amazing Location

You could not get much closer to the water! It was an amazing spot for our kids to play on the beach and swim in the lake with the cabins being RIGHT near the water. Marie was super nice too. We loved it here

Great Beach!

Cottage is great if you are looking for the retro up North experience. No wifi or air conditioning, but I wanted to make sure the teen got outdoors so this was fine by me. Not sure how 6 adults could fit in this cottage, but 3 people were fine. Didn't sleep on the sofa sleeper. They could use a new couch. I can't say enough about how close you are to the water. It was so good for the soul. The piers were fun to fish off of and the swimming was fabulous. The water was nice and clear with very little weeds. So, if you're ok to rough it a little inside, but looking for perfection outside this is the place for you.

Wonderful Getaway

The accommodations were above our expectations! It was clean, and had everything we needed. It was peaceful, relaxing, and very happy with our stay. We would highly recommend it to everyone looking for a great place to stay and enjoy beautiful Round Lake!

Best N. WI Rental experience, hand's down!

Without question, you will find no other cottage rental on Big Round Lake that will meet or exceed your lake vacation expectations. Having vacationed here my ENTIRE life, I can say that you need look no further for the one-of-a-kind treasure that is Slack's Edgewater Beach Resort. Enjoy!
