This is a legal conforming vacation rental. Please see our listing details for our license number.

Our 2-bedroom presidential suite has a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and two full-sized beds in the guest bedroom, allowing maximum comfort for 6 guests. It comes with a kitchen and has views of the water, mountains, and city lights. There are 3 lanais (balconies) from where you can enjoy the cool ocean breezes or watch the canoe races on the Ala Wai Canal.

This immense 2-bedroom suite stretches from one end of the building to the other, giving ample space to relax and make yourself at home. Also unique to this suite is the convenience of having a washer and dryer in the unit.

Wake up and cook breakfast in the kitchen or savor a delicious breakfast at one of the many restaurants close by, then take a leisurely stroll to the world-famous Waikiki Beach where you can take surf lessons, watch a hula performance, or just lay out and sunbathe on the beach. Along the way you will pass the Waikiki Strip and encounter dozens of world-class shops, eateries, and entertainment. Browse through the local stores and pick up unique souvenirs. With all the sights and sounds to take in, walking the Waikiki Strip could easily be a full day's excursion!

Everything is within walking distance, but if you choose to venture out farther there are major bus and trolley lines half a block away from the property. If shopping is your thrill, the island's biggest mall (Ala Moana Shopping Center) is only a mile away. The Hawaii Convention Center is less than a mile away, and Hawaii's historical sites like Iolani Palace, Chinatown, and Downtown Honolulu are less than 4 miles away.

When you're done exploring, stay in and enjoy all that the property has to offer! The Royal Garden has been newly-renovated and features a pool, two saunas, an outdoor BBQ terrace, a fitness center, complimentary laundry facilities and complimentary WiFi in each room.

Balcony was great. Building is surrounded by quite a few slumlike dwellings, but within a block, it’s great. There is even a Dean & DeLuca around the corner. Would not recommend the pool area as it is shaded and in an ally way like area. There were a lot of kids all over the place, so not a tranquil spot. Best part of our stay was the room. It was perfect for us, and the owner was lovely.All the folks working the property were super friendly.

A great stay. The place is as advertised, very clean, and well located in Waikiki. It's just off of the busy section, so it's not as hectic location-wise, but it was easy to get a ride-share, and most of the busy areas, including the beaches, of Waikiki can also be accessed by walking.We were two adult couples, and the place was perfect - we each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms, and the floorplan was such that you could be in the living room or kitchen and really not disturb someone trying to sleep in one of the bedrooms.Hazel, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. She provided very useful tips and information beforehand. All messages were answered quickly. The staff at the building were professional and good.

The good:1. Nice location2. Great amenities3. In room laundry, and access to hotel laundry room, swimming pool and gym.4. Clear communication with the property manager on check-in check-out process and timings, parking etc.5. Provided utensils, towels, trash bags, dish soap, laundry soap etc.The Bad:1. Very dirty and dusty. Cleaning was very superficial, the vents etc were full of dust. Lots of dust and trash under the sofa.

We stayed with myself and my two adult children (18 and 23) my brother and his wife and two children (15and 10 months). All rooms were large enough for everyone to not be in each other’s way. The living room and bathroom balconies offer great views the hotel staff was wonderful as well as the VRBO host. Communication was excellent. Literally walking distance to anything and everything that you need. Incredible shopping five minutes away the ocean and beach eight minutes away walking distance. Outside even late at night or early in the morning was clean and felt safe. We’re from the Bay Area so homeless is not shocking to us. There are a few homeless people, but they didn’t seem to really bother anyone. There were beach chairs in the laundry room closet to use some sand castle building, buckets, etc. we ended up leaving a few large and small inner tubes to float in Waikiki Beach (so fun!) and snorkeling gear there as well. All photos below are views from the balcony and kitchen window.

Maintenance required ASAP

The reasons for the low rating:1) I couldn't sleep with such strong scent from the bedsheets. The next morning the bed sheets and mattress pad had to be washed with my own detergent. The towels also had same strong scent and had to be washed.2) After removing the mattress pad, the mattress had a horrible large stain covering over half the mattress (bed next to bathroom in room with two beds). This is definitely not what I wanted to see or sleep on! Replace the mattresses!3) The pots, pans and rice cooker in the kitchen were very worn and they should be replaced.4) A moldy cup of tea was left in the microwave.5) The kitchen faucet needs to be replaced since it always needs to be jiggled to turn water off.6) The AC unit emitted a musty smell throughout our stay in room with one bed. It should be replaced.7) Overall, a lot of maintenance is required before I would consider renting again.

Great place for two couples. We enjoyed the amenities of the apartment, as well as the location and walking distance to restaurants and food trucks. My husband and I took advantage of the lanais whenever we were not on an excursion, and enjoyed watching the Friday night fireworks from this great vantage point.

Wonderful place

The Royal Garden place was a wonderful experience for us. There was two couples and it was wonderful.There was two bedrooms and large bathroom ,with the kitchen and living room in the center. The living room was a large size to with plenty os spaces to sit we would highly recommend this place and would definitely return to it if we come back. There was also laundry which was great since we were leaving for a cruise.

Nice accommodations

Stayed for a week with my husband, sister and brother-in-law. Quite spacious. 3 balconies. One off the living room and the other 2 off each bedroom. Clean, kitchen was fairly functional. The stove was very dirty when we arrived. I think the cleaning people missed it. I found using the stove a bit difficult to use do to the numbers and writing on the stove worn off so you couldn’t read the temperature settings. It was a challenging to make eggs etc as the frying pans are all small and the non stick coating was not good anymore.It was nice to have a full size refrigerator for our food and drinks.A/C worked extremely well in all the rooms.The pool area was adequate but if you have young kids the pool really doesn’t have much shallow area for little. They will need life jackets. It was over my head and I’m 5’9”, but I had a floatie so I was fine. Sauna was nice at the pool. There is plenty of space for more loungers but they didn’t have a lot at the pool so it was a bit challenging to find a chair at times.Hotel staff were all nice.ABC store is a 3 min walk.One prior review said the area looked run down and I agree. Looking out the windows is was a bit unappealing.There are beach chairs in a closet but several of them were broken. A few were not. This closet had a nice cool to use which we did.The distance to the beach was a little long for us. A 10 min walk but we mostly Uber’d because of bad knees.Beds and pillows were ok but not great.

Waikiki 2 Bedroom Suite on High Floor

This was our first trip to Honolulu/Waikiki so having a nice place to stay was good thing. This condo is a nice place to stay, this is what we thought were positives and negatives.Positives:* Very spacious* Having 3 balconies were fantastic* The floors were beautiful* The place is equipped with the basic essentials you would need, coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster, dishes, serving utensils, electric stove, dish washer etc.* Airconditioning for the main room and each bedroom worked perfectly well easy to control with the remotes.* TV's and cable were good* There were 3 elevators to access which were really close to this condo, easy to get to and quiet.* The condo's location compared to all of the other 10 condos on this floor was absolutely the best because it was separated from the rest of them.* Lobby was very clean and beautiful, nice chandeliers* Location was good, beach and shopping were a short walking distance* Each bathroom had its own Bidet which was very niceNegatives:* Cleanliness overall, the place was fairly clean however there were areas that did not get enough attention such as the laundry room for example lint was all over the walls, ceiling and W&D machines, not sure the last time it was thoroughly cleaned. Counters in the kitchen and dining room had been wiped but there was film left over from whatever cleaning solution was used.* The condo definitely needs to be updated you will find that most of the items are worn and well used

Great Experience

The condo was perfect for our family. Two large bedrooms and bathrooms with plenty of living space to spread out. We appreciated having beach chairs, snorkel equipment and sand chairs available. The pool was surprisingly nice and warm in February. The views are fantastic and the condo is easily walkable to restaurants, stores and Waikiki beach. The host and staff were so helpful and accommodating.

Awesome stay in Waikiki

This property was as described and exactly as pictured. Views from all 3 balconies were amazing!! Location was perfect for us, a short walk to downtown Waikiki, restaurants and the beach. We were 2 adult couples and the property couldn’t have been better for us. Two bedrooms each with bathrooms separated from the common areas with doors. Lots of space for all 4 of us. Great communication with agents (Hazel/Cheryl) both incredibly helpful. Even had beach chairs, snorkelling gear and beach toys in the back closet in the laundry room. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay

Is exactly as shown. Communication was so great with the host, very kind and helpful.Great view of ocean and canal. Very highly recommend. Will stay again if we ever return to Hawaii.

Great place in downtown honolulu

Lovely apartment with great location in downtown Honolulu. Very clean. We were able to walk to many places and some great restaurants in the area.

Beautiful condo in a great location

The condo is as pictured. It is a great location, walking distance to many restaurants, stores, amenities, and the beach. The owner was very communicative, kind, and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in Waikiki!
