Treetop sits on a hill, visible only from its neighbor, Lake View. Enter the lower level, next to the hot tub, into a pub room gathering area with satellite tv and a old school video game consol, a beverage refrigerator and a hightop table. The outside deck stairs and an interior central spiral staircase lead to the open living area with modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances,, including dish washer. Dining for eight. Wood-burning fireplace and satellite tv with dvd. Gas and charcoal grills. Fire pit. No pets allowed.
Four queen bedrooms and two full baths with double vanities. The rooms and baths are comparable, so this rental is a great fit for a group of friends splitting the bill.
SIMILAR If you like Tree Top, you will also like Lake View (same layout) and may like Overlook (sleeps 6) and Lily Pad (sleeps 4), all of which are on the same campus and were built the same time with comparable finishes and furnishings.

Clean. Peaceful. Fairly secluded. Essential amenities provided (kitchen appliances [fridge/freezer, oven microwave, coffee pot], bath towels, shampoo, body wash). Bring hand soap & beach towels & firewood. Plenty of closet space (bring hangers). Ceiling fans only run when lights are on. A lot of stairs, but loved the extra steps fory fitbit! Overall this was a wonderful stay!

A gem in the woods

Treetop was great, very secluded from the other cabins on property. Hot tub and modernization of the cabin was awesome! Can’t be afraid of stairs though as there’s no shortage of them here to get to the cabin itself, pack light!

Friend Weekend was great!

This space was great for our group of 7. The living space and kitchen/island were great for prepping meals and enjoying some game nights. The property was easy to get to, the hot tub was great, and we didn't even use the basement living area but it was nice to have the extra space. Would stay here again.

Cozy cabin

This cabin was very comfortable and very cozy. A beautiful setting with many deer wondering through the woods. We loved the fireplace!

Last vacation of summer

This cabin was Amazing!! The view was stunning complete with deer running in the meadow. The cabin itself was perfect. It had everything we needed to make this vacation the best!!

The house was very clean, comfortable and everything worked. There are no amenities like a pool at the location of this house, but it is very quiet. The spiral staircase was a little challenging for the very youngest and oldest of our group, but was fine for our short stay. The main issue with the organization that manages this property is their secrecy about where the house is located. Their process of holding back the address until the afternoon of your arrival is dysfunctional. There's no mobile phone service. You would think they would advise you of that instead of leaving messages you get when you're on the wifi once in the cabin. Thinking that the only address you receive from them is in the general location of this rental, we went there in the absence of any communication from them. But this cabin isn't there. After traveling all day we learned we needed to back track half an hour for this house. Poorest communication of any vacation rental we've experienced.

Short, lovely stay

We went to Hocking Hills for a few days during our son's spring break. The cabin was cleanly for the most part. Found some stray feathers and rose pedals. Beds were comfortable.Only complaint was that the ceiling fans were wired into the lighting, therefore we could not keep the fan on overnight. It was also not fun when we needed the light on to change after the hottub or a hike and the fan was blasting us. They were very quick to bring a box fan over, as we enjoy sleeping with a fan on.Location was close to food, hikes, and wildlife. We really enjoyed it.

Birthday Retreat

Treetop is unique in structural design. It is also aesthetically pleasing on the inside. I love that the location is remote and tucked away from everything. Surrounded by trees. It's gorgeous and peaceful during the day and night. Though the location is remote, it's only 15 minutes or less from the nearest Wal Mart and other shopping. Administration was pleasant and helpful. We plan to return in the near future!

Family Trip

Beautiful cabin! Very clean, private location, modern furnishings, perfect for a family get away! Hot tub for 4 with a wrap around porch and beautiful scenery. The 2 stories with 2 living rooms and large dining table gave us plenty of room to spread out but also come all together for meals and card games! We will definitely be back! 15 minutes to canoe’s and 20 minutes to hiking at the caves.

Old friends

Wonderful all the way around. All of us are over 70 yrs it was a hike to go up so many steps. We all agreed that we would stay with you again in one of the places that we didnt have so many steps. It was eonderful in every other way

Great Place to Stay

Enjoyed a very relaxing stay in a Tree Top Chalet. Spic N Span Clean no dirt or grime anywhere. Comfortable beds, kitchen well-stocked with dishes and cooking supplies, plenty of clean towels and bathroom necessities. Signing in process was a bit frustrating as it wasn't easy to enter necessary signatures on documents. Otherwise, great place to stay to enjoy Hocking Hills State Park!

First annual moms trip

This cabin was gorgeous! We had a few hiccups, like lights being burned out or flickering, but the staff was amazing. The only advice I have for the management company would be to try to provide some form of salt or come out and salt the stairs if/when it snows. This cabin has a lot of stairs to get to, and of course on check out morning it snowed for us. Not a huge deal it was gorgeous! But the stairs were very very slippery. It just made getting luggage down the stairs a little tricky. Otherwise the cabin as a whole was amazing. We loved the space and had a great vacation

Good Experience

We had a wonderful time at the Tree Top. The only complaint would be the porch lights kept going on and off through the night when nothing was around. The sensors seemed defective or just inaccurate.

Beautiful

Treetops is a beautiful property! It’s also super clean! The four bedrooms are all about the same size! There are two bedrooms, a small living room and a full bathroom in the lower level. The main level has two bedrooms, a bathroom (shower, but no tub), a full kitchen and living room. The wrap around porch on the upper level has some nice seating options and a nice view! The hot tub is just a few steps outside the door to the lower level. The beds are comfy, the towels are soft, the kitchen is well-stocked and the hot tub works great! The tub downstairs drains very slowly, but I let the owners know, so I think it will be fixed before the next guests arrive.There are a lot of stairs on this property. There are stairs outside leading up to the main level and there is a spiral staircase inside between the basement and the main level. The stairs might prove difficult for small children or people with mobility difficulties, but it was just fine for myself, my husband and our two teenagers.

Okay place

It was fairly accommodating for a large family but I do have a few complaints or recommendations. First there needs to be a thick rubber mat & tread on steps that connects the back door to the hot tub during the winter months. My grandkids got out of the hot tub and we had serious falls on the ice because there was so much ice built up on the steps and walkway to the back door. I ended up putting a towel down on steps and walk and that certainly helped. A washer and dryer or at least a dryer is needed to dry suits & towels. We hung them to dry but they were still soaked when they needed to be used again. The fans in 2 bedrooms and in the living room I believe would not turn on unless the light was on. I use a fan at night but couldn’t find any way to turn the light off and the shade couldn’t be removed easily to unscrew the bulb. The description was that this unit had a gas fireplace. It is not. This is a wood burning fireplace. The arcade game in the description that had 50 or so games didn’t work except for 4-5 of the games. The bed I slept on upstairs closest to the bathroom squeaked at every movement. Very uncomfortable and made for little deep sleeping. The key program instead of combo locks seems somewhat archaic also but I will say that the folks at the office were very polite and professional. We were able to get into the unit about an hour early which was nice.

Great Place for a couples weekend!

Check-In process horrible

When we got to the propert. We couldn’t get in. They gave us the wrong code. We tried for 5 hours waiting outside. No one would answer or return our calls. VRBO a couldn’t help us. We were stuck there and almost slept in our car. Until one of us just starting putting in random codes. And it unlocked. No one called the next day to check in on us. I called. Complained. They did reimbursed us for the night. But they need PM workers or an in call person. Only other is. is there are a ton of stairs up to the cabin that we did not realize and the stairs to get downstairs are very narrow. Not good if you a larger person.

Overall Great Experience

Very nice Chalet! Sufficient room for 8 adults, a little cramped in the kitchen / dining area at supper time, but still adequate. Some suggestions to make it better; 1) More clothes storage in the bedrooms, 2) a stackable washer & dryer (utility room?), 3) speed controls for ceiling fans, 4) better lighting on the outside stairs, 5) move the fire pit closer to the chalet. The suggestions above do not detract from the fact this is a very quiet, comfortable, and clean location to relax and recharge while also providing easy to access to town and moderate access to HHSP.
