The view of the ocean from our balcony was amazing. Stocked with enough essentials to get us started. Renata was always quick to answer any questions we had and very friendly. Only disappointment was the low water pressure and full size beds, (not queen) and honestly, need to be replaced soon. Overall, would recommend this condo.

Last minute booking

Decided to extend our vacation and there was an opening. They had everything we needed and an amazing view. My only complaint would be the beds, they were SO hard.

Last minute trip

We decided at the last minute to go to Daytona Beach because of the warm weather. Found this unit on Virbo and it was great! Very clean and wonderful view.

Wonderful family beach getaway

Our family had a fantastic stay at the beach condo. We enjoyed exploring and dining at several delicious local restaurants. The beach was easily accessible and provided endless fun. The stunning view from the balcony was a highlight and we enjoyed the sunrise each morning. We got some amazing pictures! Would visit again!

HOA Needs lots of improvements

The trip went well over all. Room was decent. Only found one roach in the room. Heard worse from other guests about their rooms. Our last day our parking pass fell off on to the floor of car. The HOA and Hector the “security guard” had our rental car towed. They apparently give you an hour to respond to the notice on the windshield. That was too bad because I was at the pool/beach. It cost me $160 to get it out “cash” the HOA sends you to the sketchiest neighborhood where the impound lot is. I been coming to the Hawaiian Inn since I was kid, it’s better days are behind it. Big Pool though. 3 stars would be me being very generous.

Almost speechless

Started off we were gave the wrong passcode for the door. Stood outside in the heat with our luggage for over 15 minutes till I finally got in touch with someone. Then after entering the room noticed the bucket under the stove. questioned the owner of the unit about it and was told it was to collect the condensation. Well the “condensation” leak was so bad it ran from the bucket with the hole in it across the floor under the end table and couch. I had to put towels down to collect the water so we would not slip and fall. From eventually put the bathroom trash can in the place of the bucket after the owner told me she would bring another bucket but never did. THEN 2 days later the ceiling with the condensation leak collapsed. I had ceiling all in the floor and the stove and the strongest smell of mold! It was a nightmare. Contacted the owner again and she sent out maintenance. The workers told us the owner would not stop renting out the unit even knowing that the ceiling needed to be replaced. Too bad I can’t add pictures to this because I have them. We couldn’t cook a single thing our entire 5 days there because of drips over the stove, we had to eat out every meal except to make sandwiches. I kept thinking we should have gotten some kind of money back on our stay for all of our troubles but obviously the owner doesn’t think so. Not only that… but the mattresses on the beds were the hardest I have ever slept on. I think it would have been more comfortable to lay a towel down and sleep on the sand.

Great location

The resort property is “old Florida” feel, which I personally loved; a smaller 5-story resort that feels like 1960-70s glory days. The resort pool area was extremely spacious and during my stay had ample number of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas to eat and sit at - always found empty chairs, which is highly unusual at a resort these days. Pool area also has a bar and food service served all day/evening which was also a great plus. The resort also offers an authentic Hawaiian Luau 3 nights each week that seemed to be well attended. Our unit had a closet containing a surprise stash of pool/beach toys, beach chairs etc which was another huge plus. The unit inside was clean and well-appointed, mostly updated and nice furnishings. Well-stocked kitchen. However, the exterior of the resort building itself needs some updating and touch-ups.

Cheerleading Comp @Bandshell

We had 4 adults staying for a Cheer Comp at the Bandshell, this was close to the venue without being in the middle of 100's of cheerleader. Condo was the right size and exactly as advertised, very clean. Great view!! Plus nice pool and beach access. Down to earth atmosphere. Plan to save the information so we can stay here again.

Very out dated and old building. But had lots of fun being so close to pool ocean and the stop of Daytona fun. Kitchen was clean and very easy to cook in . Thx!

Great location but outdated

The front of the property (street view) was not as well maintained as the back that faced ocean. Our unit was not as clean as expected. Very old and musty. Vents very dirty and need cleaned to allow clean air through. Shower old and drain rusted out.

Great But!

The location is fabulous. Value for money is excellent ! Our unit and the facility needs a few upgrades 1. Water pressure in washroom is low 2. Entire facility does not recycle ( shame on them) 3. A inexpensive shop vac would help 4. The facilities internet bandwidth needs to be increased I would recommend this facility and the unit we rented on the basis of the location and price alone Thank You Mike and Patricia
