Our Outlander Luxury Hideway is bold and colourful with beautiful detailing making it a great choice for a chic luxury break.

Located on the ground floor with French windows leading out to a patio area and outdoor seating this views from this Hideaway are spectacular.

Step into the Hideaway and its cheerful mustard, grey and sea blue living area with its plush seating, elegant dining space and modern kitchenette.

A bright hallway leads through to the Hideaway’s beautiful bedroom with its regency style kingsize bed, wall mounted smart TV and plenty of dressing space and storage.

The bathroom in our Outlander Hideaway is huge with a gorgeous chrome free-standing two person bath, separate rainfall shower enclosure and his and her sinks with local luxury toiletries from the Highland Soap Company.

Beautiful Hideaway

We can’t say enough great things about the Outlander Hideaway. It was exactly what we were looking for when we stay in the Highlands! The Outlander Hideaway was super clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owners were kind and helpful. It was an absolutely wonderful place to relax after a days hike, with views of the Loch and mountains. We would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

THE Place to Stay Around Glencoe

My husband and I spent the night at the Outlander as part of our trip to celebrate our honeymoon and couldn’t have been more pleased! We were immediately greeted by Tony who graciously gave us a tour of the space. He walked us through the amenities, how they worked, and ensured that we were comfortable before departing. We were beyond impressed by the cleanliness, thematic decor, and obvious care that he and Mairi put into making the space intentionally cozy. Had we expected such a wonderful time here, we would have made a point to stay longer. We will certainly be returning here on our next trip to Scotland! Thank you, both!!!!

The property was fantastic with great amenities. Mairi provided recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do. This was one of our best experiences with a rental and would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful place, beautiful location

Tony and Mairi were great hosts. Everything in the apartment is first class quality. The location is peaceful but in easy reach of local amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and will look for dates to return.

Our only regret was leaving

Dear Mairi and Tony We absolutely loved your cottage. From the start it was clear we found a very special place to start our return visit to Scotland. Your very warm welcome, the tour of the cottage with all of its class and comfort. It had everything and then some. We also really enjoyed chatting with Tony later and we told him that you both have created a very special place and the bar is going to be very high for the remaining accommodations we booked. We will be back and maybe next time you’ll add a visit by a unicorn because foxes and deer, great restaurants, magnificent views, wonderful neighbours (really enjoyed my visit with Sally), the BEST SCONES EVER (Stalker Castle), amazing seafood and venison (Hollytree) and a visit by the Royal Air Force over the loch just wasn’t enough. The bed was glorious, the rain shower head now mandates me to update the bath at home and the soaker tub was awesome. All in, a very special place.

Great place, great hostess, amazing stay in Ballaculish

Mairi was a great hostess, and her recommendations on what to do in the area were on point. We had a wonderful stay in Ballaculish. The apartment is beautiful, looks just like pictures posted here. A great home base to explore one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

Ein absoluter Traum

Schon von den Bildern konnte man bei der Buchung erkennen, wie schön diese Ferienwohnung wohl sein muss... Vor Ort - in Echt und in Farbe - sind wir dann aus dem Genießen nicht mehr rausgekommen. Eine wunderschöne, liebe- und stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, die es an nichts vermissen lässt. Alles war sehr, sehr sauber. Eine gigantische Aussicht (und für uns noch ein großartiges Wetter dazu) Überall standen Kleinigkeiten für die Gäste bereit - leckere Schokodrops & mehr. 2 Äpfel, 2 Mandarinen, Milch, Kaffee, Tee..... Gesten der schottischen Gastfreundschaft, die wir liebevoll und dankend zur Kenntnis genommen haben. Als Autorin habe ich an meinem Buch weitergeschrieben - und wie soll es anders sein: auch das W-Lan funktioniert perfekt. Wer dann doch den Fernseher anschalten möchte, dem fehlt es mit Amazon Prime an nichts.... (wir hatten ihn aber nie an...) Mairi ist eine perfekte, liebevolle Gastgeberin, die dich mit einem schottischen "Warm Welcome" willkommen heißt (wobei wir glauben, dass sie gar keine Schottin ist) :-) Die Lage ist großartig - man ist schnell in Oban oder in Glencoe oder Fort William. Zum Einkaufen braucht man ein Auto (wo braucht man das aber in den Highlands nicht).... Liebe Mairi: wir kommen wieder! :-)

Beautiful location, lovely house. perfect for a couple's getaway.

Mairi was just lovely. Met us (in the rain!) and got us settled in. House is a very nice bedroom, recently redone bathroom, sitting room. Mairi includes good coffee and snacks. House is right on the Loch, and behind the house there is a hiking trail to an overlook. Highly recommend
