Fun Family Cabin In Beautiful Brainerd MN! Only rent by the week in the summer

Come enjoy a true "Up North" cabin located on Red Sand Lake in BEAUTIFUL Brainerd MN. This cabin features a level elevation from the cabin to the lake. A patio along with picnic tables, chairs, fire pit, dock and other outdoor toys are provided. All you need to do is bring the smores and be ready to relax to the sounds of the Loons singing every night. The home has 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, and the lower level has two queen beds and a twin, there is also a pull out couch upstairs. The porch has a double Futon and also a single Futon.
The cabin has a full kitchen with a dishwasher. There are many golf courses located within close proximity. If you are looking for a great family getaway, this cabin will not disappoint. The arrival and Departure are flexible ask Janett.
We only rent out by the week in the summer.

The house is very roomy and cozy. Everything was decorated so nice for Christmas. The host was very responsive when we had a few questions. Great central location when staying in the Brainerd area.

Loved this space! It was big and the hosts were thoughtful. Seems like it would be great ANY time of year but we especially enjoyed the fall leaves showing off!

Excellent location and home! We loved it!! The ONLY issue we had was that it smelled a bit when we got there. We opened the windows for a bit to air it out and that helped. It was a typical closed up cabin smell with maybe a bit of cleaner mixed in. . It was super clean though so that was GREAT!!!

The cabin/home worked out very well for our son who is in a wheelchair. We enjoyed all the space. Two things - It would have been really nice if the beach area and lake area in front of the beach was clean so the little ones could have enjoyed the water and the basement room was very warm/hot. It was great sun fishing for the kids and a good location to town.

Very adequate except supply of plates. Bedrooms were small and lacked spaces for belongings. Dock was very high making it difficult for people to enter their boat.

Winter Getaway

We enjoyed a winter getaway. The house was clean and kitchen well appointed. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room for our family of 6. Snowshoeing out on the lake and taking advantage of all the Brainerd Lakes area provided was a lot of fun. I can imagine summertime would be even better as the property is next to the lake and the public access.

Cozy Cabin

We had a great time staying here! It was clean, cozy and comfortable! Everything was communicated well. It was close to everything we wanted to do such as coffee shops, bowling and going to the Chocolate Ox. Perfect stay for the winter and I can see it being a great spot in the other seasons as well!

Weekend away

Great property managers. Communication was easy. Location is close to town, but on a lake! Kid friendly. Easy to check in. I think there could have been more blankets pillows for the pull out couch. If you use that as a bed, bring your own. Plenty of games/slide/tree house for the kids.

Rocky start but had a good time

Major reason for choosing this property was the lower level"s bed set up. With 2 double beds and a single this was meant for my daughter's family with 3 children. Everything was so damp (bedding even felt wet)and musty smelling no one could stand to be down there. We had to go buy air mattresses and bedding so they could set up in the living room. We were determined to enjoy our vacation and made the best of it. The littles had a good time and that's what mattered in the end.

It's Beautiful Here!

What a great time we had! We enjoyed sitting outside watching the activity on the lake. The cabin offered everything we needed. Great location - easy to get to Brainerd/Nisswa. Many golf courses close by. This is a must stay. You will love it!

Family Gatherking

I rented this house for a family dinner on a Friday evening. I really love this house. It 's accesibility for me is a super plus as I am physically challenged. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. I loved the lake and the views from the house. My great grandkids loved the treehouse. I hope to rent this home again. The location of the house allows my kids and grandkids to come and go because they live in the area. Terrific home.

Great Place to stay

We were happy to have our crew stay at this cabin while we were building a new one 10 minutes away. There was enough rooms, bathroom, beds, and kitchen space. Thanks for having us stay there.

Our group of 8 who graduated college together 35+ years ago gather every winter for a little retreat. We played games, did a puzzle, shared food and stories. Had a great time!

Perfect autumn getaway

We couldn't have asked for a better week to relax, unplug & reconnect with family and friends. Perfectly located for short day trips with an awesome fire pit to end each day.

Relaxing

We had a group of 7 including one elderly person. The home is one level and the bathrooms were spacious. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The owner was very nice. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star review is the lake is very shallow and weedy. Fishing is challenging. We rented a pontoon and maybe would not have knowing that now. It’s a very quiet area and the outdoor space is awesome!

Water Pressure and other

The water pressure was an issue. If someone was using the washer or in a bathroom, the kitchen sink water pressure was horrible. Also - the Keurig coffee machine was unusable and must be deep cleaned. I opened it up and there was a live bug moving around. Thankfully there was a drip coffee maker which worked great The neighbors and the lake were peaceful. It was a great location even though it was by the public landing site. The sand pit was a hit with the little ones! Overall it was a nice cabin for a larger group.

A Great Getaway

My husband and I along with our adult son stayed for 3 nites. This cabin was perfect for us…a great space, fabulous porch to watch the lake and play games, comfy beds and quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Great location to restaurants, golfing, as well as Gull Lake. Loved the early check in!

Great spot for our golf weekend

We had a group of 8 guys stay for 3 days for our annual Brainerd golf weekend. This place worked out perfect. Location was great (near lots of the courses). It was nice relaxing on the patio looking at the lake each night! We will definitely stay again!
