Perdido Palms Beach House at Rolling Surf (Townhome #3)

If you are looking for beauty with privacy, Perdido Key should be your destination. Perdido Key is known for its snow-white beaches which trim the Gulf of Mexico.

Our gulf side townhome has been completely remodeled due to Hurricane Ivan. Project was completed spring of 2006 and updated furnishings in 2022. Our warm home has three bedrooms and two and-a-half baths. There are three balconies, one of which is off of the master bedroom and has a spectacular view of the gulf. Also to make your vacation as easy as possible, we have provided all the ingredients for a 'home away from home' experience.

Perdido Key is nestled amongst great restaurants, shopping, golf courses and many activities for the family such as putt-putt golf and water parks. Dolphin watching and deep sea fishing are also among the adventures provided on the key.

We invite you to enjoy our vacation home as we have for many years. Perdido Key is truly the gem of the gulf.

Great location and value

Amazing location on the beach. House was clean and well maintained. Water pressure was iffy but good enough for a short trip!

Great beach experience

House was nicely decorated and clean. Close proximity to the beach. Parking was a little tight under the house, but was a good experience. Would recommend!!

Great location

The property was as described. They do have a futon on the bottom level that is not mentioned. Walking distance from Flora-Bama and Hershey's Ice Cream shop, and the beach area is not super crowded in this area. The owner was super responsive. Family enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful beach house

This place was great! When we arrived the house was very clean and even smelled nice. The air conditioning worked great. The views of the beach were very nice and the small walk to the beach on the sand trail was nice. Huda was a great host and was very descriptive of the property. This was a special trip because I proposed to my girlfriend of 5 years right on the beach and it was very memorable. We had a great time!

Check in was easy. Location fantastic. There was food in the refrigerator when we checked in and the floors needed to be mopped, wasn't able to find a mop or would have done it myself. The beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Overall all it was good.

Fantastic locations and views!!

We were hesitant renting due to the lack of pictures…..so glad we just went with it and booked this property!!! It is located on the main road and so close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping!!! Our views were amazing!!! The rental itself was spacious and we had plenty of places to get a relaxing break from our kiddos. My husband and I traveled with three young adults ages 18-20. We all had an amazing time. The sunrises were breathtaking. We walked down the short path to our own private part of the beach and watched the dolphins on several mornings. The sunsets were just as gorgeous. The private walk to the beach and the beach itself were so nice. It was not crowded at all. The owners were super helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Check in and out was super easy as well. There’s a gate to the unit which is nice so no one can just walk up to our unit or beach. We would highly recommend this place. We are already planning on our next getaway!!!

Not very clean and very mildewy

When we first got to the townhome as soon as we walked up we were hit with a very musty, mildewy smell. Once inside the home was not very clean at all, the fans had 2 inches thick dust there were cockroaches in the bathroom and laundry milk in the fridge that was 2 months expired and fruit flies everywhere. The furniture is very ran down in the living room and uncomfortable which was inconvenient because we had younger kids and watched movies in the evenings and it was very uncomfortable. First night we ran out to grab some things and the gate would not open and our vehicle was stuck on the other side of the gate for 20 minutes while I was contacting the owners regarding this issue and the cleaning issues. I was told to go knock on neighbors doors at 10:00 at night and that this had never happened before. Finally we had to put the code in and manually pull the gate open. The cleaning people did come by and dust the fans but we had cleaned the rest. We went around and cleaned counters and bathrooms ourselves when we got there. We have several in the family with allergies so between the dust the mold the mildew smell several were miserable the whole week. The only positive we had was the beach not being very crowded with the kids. This place for the money is not recommended.

Cozy condo!

Reading other reviews talked me into booking this place! It was great. On the beach, walk out the door and you’re there. The kitchen was very well stocked, fridge kept our drinks so cold they had ice in them, which I loved. I really want them to put more pictures online of the property because I’m sure people overlook booking it, but then again that works for us because we will definitely be back lol!!

Our gamble paid off

Don't let the lack of pictures scare you off. It is an older condo but was exactly what we were looking for! Pros: Beach was not crowded at all! Easy beach access, 3 balconies (view from master balcony was fantastic), 3 levels with 3 bedrooms / 2 baths on top, kitchen / living room / dining room, half bath and laundry in middle and foyer on bottom. Beds / bedding nice and comfy. Plenty of storage for clothes. Gate to property was installed during our stay! Great addition to keep ppl from gaining access to the beach. Smart move! Cons: Parking: You must be on your A game to park (2 vehicles) under the condo between foundation columns. Extra parking at end of condo is very limited. Lack of storage for food. Plenty of items to cook with but it took up every cabinet. We ended up using the shelves in laundry to store food. Couch has seen better days, well worn, not comfortable at all / sagged in the middle. Weak water pressure in master shower. Over all our stay was fantastic!! We look forward to returning to this hidden gem. Much better than staying in those large, stuffy, crowded high rise condos by far.

Quarantine getaway

Great condo and location. The getaway was exactly what we needed, a different view from being quarantined at home. In a less crowded area and with great views. Older property, could use some updating but it was pretty cozy. Communication with Mai was great, she answered all my questions prior to booking. Will definitely be back. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there were some fruit flies in the condo that we couldn’t figure out how to get rid of, other than that, the place was clean.

Great Place!

This place was a gem. We were a little hesitant to rent, because of the few photos- but we are so glad we did! Plenty of space (three bedrooms upstairs with two full baths, downstairs- living room/dining area, kitchen, bathroom and a large laundry room, and a lower level landing area for placing your stuff) all very clean... and best of all- the beach is extremely uncrowded here. This building has six townhouses, and the small unit next door does not allow renters, so we had tons of space on the beach. The families next to us were easily 20 feet away. We could see down to the Phoenix X, where we stayed last year, and it was packed! We will definitely be back to Perdido. Don’t hesitate to rent this property.

Great Beach Condo

Property was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, and dinnerware. Furniture was clean and comfortable. Really could not have asked for anything more. Perdido Key is a great location, close to Orange Beach, Gulf Shores , and Pensacola but not nearly so hectic and crowded. Within walking distance of The FloraBama and a state park. Easy access to the beach. Plan on returning and will be looking forward to staying here again

Can't wait to go back!!!!! This place is a hidden gem.

GREAT location. GREAT beach. Nice private town home. Really a good set-up for families with kids or a group of friends. The condo is very comfortable. It's very warm and inviting. 3rd floor: Master bed/bath w/balcony, 2 secondary bedrooms, 1 full bath. 2nd floor full bath, utility, kitchen, living, front and rear balconies. 1st floor1.5 car parking, entry, alternate bedroom. GREAT value...Would not hesitate to recommend!

Great place and location

Love the layout of the townhome. Spent a few days on the beach and the location is not overcrowded. Great places to eat just down the road. Look forward to returning.

Loved it!

The place was very nice and well stocked for all your needs. The neighbor Tom was very nice and helpful. It is a very short walk to the beach. The beach was was beautiful! We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

Great stay on the beach

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property! It's right on the beach. It's a 3 level townhouse that has great views of the beach. Pick either the front or rear balconies to enjoy the morning or evening. It doesn't matter, great views either way. The best part is that it's not part of one of the large condo properties. The neighbors were nice and provided advice on places to eat and shop. We would definitely stay here again. The beach wasn't crowded either. Close to restaurants and shopping. Just feet away from Flora-bama. Awesome, awesome stay!

Super clean, cozy and equipped to make you feel at home.

This is by far our family's favorite summer getaway!!!! The location is directly on the beach with quick access to markets. The condo is super clean, cozy and equipped to make you feel at home. We are thankful for the wonderful family memories here and our children hope to vacation at this same happy place on the beach with their own family one day!❤️

Great location, clean, comfortable condo.

We had a wonderful vacation in this condo, it was clean, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. The toy closet was pretty well stocked, a good size umbrella, that was a life saver, 3 chairs and some kid toys, the grill is charcoal so be aware you need to pick that up and allow time to cook. Great beach that was never crowded the entire time we were there, even on the weekend. The location is really good, about a block from Flora Bama, Waffle House and the ice cream store! We cooked in most days, but we did order out from the Flora Bama Yacht club and that was really good. The pizza place, I think the name was Lillians....was also very good. We would definitely rent this condo again! The only things I would perhaps caution about are 1. the towels are a little short in supply, just 6 towels for 6 of us, so you will need to do laundry about every day, no biggie, but a few more towels wouldn't hurt. 2. not that anyone goes to the beach to watch tv, but they are not large and it is really limited on the available stations. The only reason this was a thing for us, is we had young children with us on a rainy day. :( 3. My last piece of advice, and this may have been something I missed in the original info, the name of the (unit) #3, is Perdidio Palms, the name of the condo is Rolling Surf, which is on the side of the building. Great place, thank you!

Perfect trip

We originally planned to stay a week and and managed to get the arrangements made to stay two weeks. We loved it. The location is great. It is not overly crowded and very peaceful. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We did have issues with the cable box and dryer. Both issues were addressed and repaired immediately. Property manager was great. We would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again soon.
