Our condo is better than new. Combined with a $2.5 million building renovation during the 2016-2017 winter, we did a complete renovation on our 6th floor condo. The view from the oversized corner balcony can't be better. Here's what we did during our renovation...

Enjoy spectacular sunrises over the Gulf of Mexico from the extra-large (9’ x 24’) balcony of this 6th floor PRIVATELY OWNED and Managed corner unit condo located right on the beach of the Gulf of Mexico on South Padre Island. The walkway on the front of the unit provides Island/Bay views, so you can also enjoy the sunsets across the Bay. This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit offers some of the best views on the entire island. Extra large living room has a queen size sleeper sofas providing sleeping arrangements for up to 4.

The Pool, Sundeck, and Jacuzzi are located on the 3rd floor and offers unobstructed gulf views as well, and their Southern exposure keeps them in the sun all day long. There is also an ADULT ONLY Jacuzzi on the North side of the building, just steps from our front door, that offers gulf views from a pergola ambiance.

This condo provides direct beach access from the bottom floor, and controlled access to the building and parking areaa.

This is the perfect place to start, or continue, the family tradition of beach vacations!

This condo was fabulous! The views were just as stated. We enjoyed the quieter beach and the proximity to Clayton’s and Wanna Wanna when we wanted more noise. Getting around the island was easy from this condo.My favorite place was the balcony! Beautiful views and people watching from the sixth floor kept me quite entertained if we weren’t at the beach.Brian was easy to work with and answered all of my questions. He checked in to make sure all was well while we were there.This condo is certainly worth your consideration!!

Best SPI stay yet

Easily the best SPI condo we have stayed at. We stayed at 2 others in Inverness that weren’t even close as well as others on the island. The unit was beautifully decorated and the kitchen well stocked. The host couple clearly treasure this unit and it comes through in every detail.

Great Getaway Stay

We have stayed at numerous units at the property but none as perfect as this one. Clean and well decorated with all the modern convivences of home. Great location with amazing views of the beach. Don't miss out on the sunrise view its beautiful.

Another Perfect Getaway

This is our 3rd stay at Brian & Peggy Sue’s beautiful beachfront condo! The condo balcony view is got to be one of the best on the island. The condo is a gorgeous modern beach chic and fully equipped! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Relaxing stay with a great view of the beach!

The condo is nicely updated and the view is unparalleled. It’s also very walkable to some good food options and shopping. One note is that the bed is a little noisy and may keep up light sleepers. Other than that our stay was delightful!

Weekend getaway

This was our second stay at the condo. It is the perfect place for a couples retreat. Very clean and nicely decorated in a beach theme. Despite being stuck inside for a day because of Hurricane Hanna we had a great time. The view of the crashing waves and wind was great. We will be booking again.

Perfect in every way!

The location right on the beach was amazing! The balcony was spectacular- great furniture and what a view! Now for the condo - it was recently remodeled and is super beachy chic! We loved everything about it! By far the best we've seen. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Vacation Getaway

All the reviews are true! This condo is absolutely beautiful- from all the decor and furniture to the breathtaking view of the beach. I’m so happy that I discovered it while searching the internet for places to stay while in SPI. Thank you Brian and Peggy Sue for making this condo the perfect vacation getaway spot. South Padre Anniversary Retreat

We enjoyed our stay, from the amazing balcony view of the Gulf, to the location which is walking distance to restaurants and shops. The condo is beautifully decorated and filled with all of the comforts you could hope to have. We made use of the beach chairs, beach towells, umbrella, and enjoyed hours on the beach, just steps away from the property. The hosts were welcoming and provided great instructions prior to our visit. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Condo on the Beach

Michael and I really enjoyed our stay in this condo. Peggy Sue did a beautiful job decorating. The ocean breeze on the patio was awesome. Another plus is the Island Metro stops right outside the building and it provides free transportation on the island. Thank you, Brian and Peggy Sue, for letting us stay in your place.

Beach Heaven

This condo unit is truly wonderful. Super clean and decorated over the top in marine themed art everywhere. Really comfortable space with huge balcony to relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the Gulf. Comes equipped with everything you might want to enjoy the setting. Best Condo Right on the Beach

I have stayed in this building several times before but not in this privately owned condo through VRBO. The condo has been beautifully updated and decorated and has everything you might need. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the owner Brian made sure we were all set throughout the whole process. Condo is right on the beach with amazing views. We will be back again soon!

Relaxation Station

More than 5 star experience

This was our 3rd stay at Brian and Peggy Sue’s marvelous place. Our getaway was planned to celebrate our 7th year anniversary as a couple. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with an extremely thoughtful surprise including decorations, flowers, a card, and champagne! Brian is very attentive, easy to communicate with, and wants to ensure your stay is enjoyable and relaxing! Their place is very comfortable, clean, and the views are incredible! We’re already planning our next visit!

Amazing View!

The views from this condo are truly amazing! There are not many places where you can get a 360 degree view in all directions on the island. We were able to see the sunrises and sunsets each morning, and the fireworks right from our private balcony as well. The decor & style showed a true pride in ownership, and all the conveniences of home were though of and provided. We really enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend to future guests - you will not be disappointed booking!

Beautiful views and condo

We loved relaxing out on the big balcony every morning and evening. The condo was just as beautiful as the pictures with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. We would definitely recommend staying here! We talked to others that were staying in very outdated condos in the same building and we felt very lucky that we chose this one! Brian was very responsive throughout the whole process from the first questions I sent, to booking and updating our dates, to checking out. We also got to see fireworks off the balcony one night.

Fiesta Getaway

This was our second year to come to South Padre during San Antonio's Fiesta, and to stay at this condo. The location on the beach is superb, particularly with the view of the fireworks at night. Decorations are beachy but classy, and what we appreciated this time was the high quality of the necessities. The bed and linens, towels, and paper products (toilet paper and paper towels) are all top-notch. Beach access is also easy, so we could store our pop-up tents in the Suburban and have a short trip to the beach for set up. We definitely look forward to coming back next year.

Beach stay #4

Another relaxing stay at Brian and Peggy Sue’s place! We Can’t say enough about how much we look forward to staying here. The breathtaking ocean views from the balcony include amazing sunrises, fireworks, and this particular stay, experienced the Blue Moon of 2023! Their place is very well maintained, the kitchen is equip with everything you need from cookware to spices! Easy beach access and plenty of beach essentials available in hall closet. We’re very thankful to have found this vacation gem! Brian is very easy to communicate with and readily available if needed. No doubt, We will be back!

Nicest unit

We have stayed in the Inverness 8 times. This unit was the nicest and bidets 1 bedroom unit we have ever stayed in. So many nice little added amenities…paper napkins, binoculars, beach chairs and umbrellas, games, plenty of toilet paper and towels (good quality), very nice beach towels, good range of kitchen utensils, all quality items. Overall wall decor was quite tasteful, but there were too many nic nac items covering the tables an taking up room on the floor using space for me to set my stuff.

The perfect home away from home.

Excellent experience, Brian kept in touch with me from the beginning to the end. This family trip (2 adults, 3 kids) was for our 8 year anniversary, Brian and Peggy Sue went the extra step to make it special for us. The condo was everything advertised and more. It has been beautifully remodeled and very well taken care of. The kitchen was organized, clean and well stocked. Our favorite spot was the big spacious balcony, it has an amazing view of the beach. I highly recommend this condo, will definitely be back. Thank you, Brian and Peggy Sue.

My wife and I got our education in Texas, got married in Texas, and gave birth to our daughter in Texas. Then I started working as an engineer in the automotive industry and we moved to Michigan where we lived for about 25 years. I retired from that job and we moved back to Texas to get away from the snow, and to be able to ride our motorcycles year round. We love South Padre Island and wanted a place for family to come visit. This is our home away from home.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We chose this condo for several reasons.

First, the section of beach in front of the building is less busy than other areas of the beach. Public beach access in this area is limited, therefore the beach does not get very crowded.

Second, this area of the Island is quiet and peaceful, but you can easily walk North or South for some excitement. Clayton's Beach Bar is only 0.7 miles to the North, and Wanna Wanna is less than half a mile to the South.

We especially enjoy the sunrise while drinking our morning coffee on the balcony. Since we are located on the North corner of the building the views up the island are fantastic, and you can even see the fireworks show every weekend in the summer.

The building recently completed a $2.5 million exterior renovation that includes new railings, new paint, tiled walkways, elevator improvements, and access gates to the inside parking areas.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our corner balcony faces the water and gives views of the beach, and the island to the North. This is a great place to sit with a fresh cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over the Gulf. From the front door you can see the island and watch sunsets over the bay. During the summer, weekend fireworks shows can be seen from both the gulf side, and the bay side of the condo.
