It is comfortable, fully air-conditioned and heated and includes free WiFi and a combination washer/dryer. Located in a 14th Century building in the heart of Lucca's historic center, it is comfortable, sunny, and fully heated and air-conditioned. Lucca Paradiso has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay featuring original mosaic tile floors in the living room, and 20 foot high ceilings.

Lucca Paradiso has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. This lovingly renovated home features original mosaic tile floors in the living room, and 20 foot high ceilings painted in a charming traditional style. The 6-foot-tall windows in the living room, kitchen and master bedroom keep the apartment bright and sunny.

Lucca Paradiso features 2 bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed, and an additional queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room. We recently added a rolling single bed cot, making it possible for 7 people to stay, though it would be crowded. The apartment features free WiFi and a combination washer/dryer.

The apartment is comfortable, quiet, and is fully air-conditioned. Located in a 14th Century building in the heart of Lucca's historic center, it is a wonderful base for exploring. Located just one block from the Anfiteatro, all of Lucca's charms are just outside your door!

Lucca is an amazing town. Conveniently located in Tuscany, it has all the charm of a small Tuscan village and is fully surrounded by a magnificent medieval wall. The top of the wall, which includes a walking/riding path, parks, restaurants, and historical displays, is a vibrant part of public life in Lucca, along with its many beautiful churches and piazzas.

Lucca Paradiso is located two blocks from Lucca's historic Anfiteatro, and one block off Via Fillungo, Lucca's premier shopping street. Located at the back of a four-unit building, the apartment is a bright, quiet retreat. Within two blocks of the apartment are small markets, a large grocery store, coffee shops, and excellent restaurants. But of course, Lucca is for strolling and exploring, and visitors will find beautiful sites, historic churches, and fabulous food and wine anywhere they look.

Lucca Paradiso is a first floor apartment -- one floor above the ground floor. There are 28 steps up from the street to the apartment, and the building is not wheelchair accessible. The second bedroom and bathroom are in a loft accessed by a spiral staircase.

The property is well positioned within a 5 minute walk if anything you’d want to see during a short stay in Lucca. The amenities of the property make for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for parties of 5-6.

Lucca Retreat

We LOVED this place. It was a perfect respite from an otherwise busy itinerary. The home was great filled with Italian charm, the city was lovely and the locals were friendly, warm and inviting. Our check-in was wonderful and Ingrid who greeted us even went above and beyond in helping us with recommendations. We can't wait to visit again.

Lovely spacious apartment

This is a wonderful place to stay right in the heart of Lucca. My family of three stayed and loved the accomodations and the location was perfect to see everything in the city. The apartment is large and equiped with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Lucca.

Lovely stay in charming apartment in Lucca

Loved staying in Lucca in such a charming apartment within the walls of Lucca. Apartment had everything you need - good AC, wifi, strong showers, washing machine/dryer and lovely living room with high ceilings to relax after exploring. It’s in a quiet building /street but close to the Guinigi tower. Would love to stay again!

Live Like a Local!

Lucca Paradiso fit my husband and me to a T. The owner and greeter were easy to work with, the apartment is well equipped and we felt welcome to use the various supplies in the kitchen. A handy Conad Market is less than a 5-minute walk. The bed is large and comfortable. Everything “Lucca” is easily walkable and there’s a great energy in the town. Excellent restaurants. We’d love to stay there again!

Great Place, Great Local and Great AC

I can't say enough good things about the apartment. It's much bigger than it looks in the pictures, very clean, very well stocked with everything needed. The beds are comfy and big. The water in the showers was excellent. The kitchen had everything you need. Great location in the town and the owner is very accessible, friendly and helpful! I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I were ever to return to Lucca!

Perfect place to enjoy Lucca!

We really enjoyed the Lucca Paradiso accomodations. The very tall ceilings, beautiful restoration of the inside details, comfortable beds and seating areas and the central location to take in the old city were more than we hoped for. There was more than enough space for our family of 5 - and the teenagers really enjoyed staying in the loft with their own space. The owner's welcoming notes and New Arrivals folders were very helpful as well. Recommend this place for anyone really - it definitely made us feel we stepped back in time!

Lucca Paradiso

We stayed 3 nights at Lucca Paradiso. We truly enjoyed every minute of Lucca and the property! Amazing location, very quite and peaceful. And very clean! There are so many restaurants to choose from you can’t go wrong! Lucca is a very beautiful city with a long history.The people are super friendly and helpful with any questions you might have. I highly recommend a stay at Lucca Paradiso and hope to be back some day because 2 full day’s wasn’t enough to see everything! Selma.

The Lucca Paradiso apartment was perfect! It was just as described on the website. The check in process was super easy and the apartment was super clean and ready for our stay! The decor, including the furniture, walls, ceilings were so well appointed. We found the apartment spacious and comfortable, meeting all of our needs. It was rather hot in September when we arrived, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I really appreciated having the ability to do laundry, the washing machine is fantastic. It will also dry (first time I used that type of machine!) or you can air dry your clothes on the rack that is available in the apartment. The kitchen was well stocked and functioned perfectly and having the ability to cook was a big plus for us as we had a long stay.The location is absolutely excellent! Everything is easily accessible either by foot or bicycle. Everything in the walled city was within minutes away. We rented bicycles for our whole stay and there was ample room to lock up inside the building. The train station and bus depot was a short walk away as are many restaurant options and shopping. We absolutely loved our stay there and can't wait to return again soon. We highly recommend Lucca Paradiso!!

Fantastic location

This apartment allowed us to experience living in Lucca as the residents do. The location is convenient - close to a small grocery store, restaurants, shopping, and plazas. The apartment is within the city walls, so long-term parking was a few blocks away; we knew that in advance and it wasn't a problem. It was a compact apartment, but satisfactory for the four of us. The spiral staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom was challenging to navigate with fully-loaded suitcases. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware and cutlery. The air conditioning worked well; it was too warm in Lucca for us to try out the fireplaces!

Loved our time!

This property is perfectly located, central to everything. This is a large apartment with all of the items you would need to feel like home. We had been traveling in Italy for six weeks prior to our stay here and this is the first property that had the full range of kitchen equipment/paper products. There were even storage containers. This may not seem important, but we cooked several times and it just made it possible and easier. There is a market (Conad) around the corner. It was just easy. The apartment itself had several sofas and comfy beds. There were also extra linens and a washer/dryer. Donna was great! She was always available for questions and Annamaria was lovely at check-in. Don't hesitate to book this property. We hope to return next year!

Ottimo appartamento in posizione eccezionale

Io, la mia compagna e altri tre amici abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana intera in occasione del Lucca Comics & Games e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Sia Donna che Anna, le due host, sono state cordiali e ben organizzate. L'appartamento è pensato per quattro persone, ma siamo stati bene anche in cinque. Gli spazi sono accoglienti anche se il bagno al piano superiore è un po' piccolo, ma in realtà non manca davvero nulla. Appartamento molto silenzioso nonostante la vicinanza alla piazza dell'anfiteatro, che diventa notoriamente caotica durante l'evento.

Definitely paradise in Lucca

A beautifully clean and very well equipped apartment in a great location in the town of Lucca. Donna, the host, was very helpful and Anna, who checked us in, was very patient with our train delay and helped us with a taxi booking. Comfy bed, good shower, everything we could wish for in the kitchen and comfy seating to relax and plan our days too. We could not wish for anything better, we will definitely be back to stay again.

Io ed i miei amici abbiamo alloggiato nell'appartamento di Donna durante il Lucca Comics ed è stato un soggiorno splendido. La casa è bella ed accogliente ed in posizione centralissima. Non tutti gli spazi erano enormi ma erano più che adeguati anche per sei adulti. Sia Donna che Annamaria, la signora che ci ha accolto al check-in, sono state gentilissime e disponibili. Location consigliatissima!

Wonderful!

Donna’s apartment is absolutely perfect: spacious, clean, and completely comfortable. I had everything I could possibly need — ! The apartment is well appointed too: good cooking supplies including a great omelette pan, French press for coffee, and all else one needs for making good meals. Restaurants in Lucca are outstanding too (and Donna provides a helpful and wholly accurate list of some especially good options). Excellent WiFi in the apartment too. I stayed three happy weeks and explored much in Lucca and nearby Florence. Therenisnmuch wonderful music in Lucca — all nearby — I loved the concerts, botanical gardens, the extraordinary art in the churches and museums. It was also lovely just to walk on the ancient city wall, and I did this every day. A wonderful stay at Lucca Paradiso.

Spacious Apartment

Lovely property in great location

The contact with the owner post booking was excellent, as was the welcome. The property is exactly as described in a perfect location for exploring beautiful Lucca. The air conditioning was fabulous and much needed. The spiral staircase to the mezzanine bedroom is tight so not ideal for a guest with any mobility issues but it was fine for us. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped, nice bathroom, comfy lounge and information booklet was very helpful. I would recommend visiting Lucca and the property.

We live in the San Francisco Bay Area, but have loved Italy for many years, and travel there as often as we can. We always dreamed of owning a place there for when we retire. We have a few years left before retirement still, but decided to move ahead with purchasing a place. We were so fortunate to find Lucca Paradiso, a completely renovated apartment right in the historic center of Lucca, our favorite town.

We both fell in love with Lucca the first time each of us visited (separately, before we were married). It is a complete medieval town, the only town left in Italy that is still fully surrounded by a wall. It is flat, so it is easy to get around, and unlike the hill towns, has a train station just outside the wall. We started looking in 2014 and couldn't believe it when we saw Lucca Paradiso. This apartment has everything we wanted. It is spacious, has beautiful bathrooms and a brand new kitchen. It is in a 4 unit building, and our neighbors are lovely, long-time residents. Because of its location at the back of a building, it is in the heart of everything but stays nice and quiet.

The ceilings in the living room and master bedroom are lovingly restored and repainted. From the entryway to our foyer to the apartment, everything matches the character of Lucca. The apartment offers free WiFi.
