10/10 recommend I messaged 24 hours before booking to ensure coming late wouldn't be an issue and they were very quick to respond to my last minute booking request! We brought our 4 children and being able to see the beach from our room, having the pool option when the kids were needing a break from the ocean water in their eyes, and having a restaurant on site was the perfect way to vacation and I feel so spoiled vacationing like that... I'll never want to load up the kids and their things to go to the beach and haul things the way we always have again, after the luxury of the access and accomodations we experienced at this location !!!

Family fall trip

Very nice place! Clean, great location, we had everything we needed. Very friendly staff from front desk to maintenance workers. Nice pool areas and steps to the beach. Twin beds could use a little updating but we would definitely stay here again!

Great condo! Will stay again!

This condo was clean, well maintained, well equipped (kitchen, etc) and a pleasure to stay at. Property amenities were great (indoor & outdoor pool + big hot tub), and it was evident that the maintenance department kept things running nicely. It is also very evident that the owners of this property really care for their place. We will be staying here again! Side note: Mattresses in twin room need to be replaced - wasn't much of an issue for us because we have small children.

Short weekend stay

Rooms were smaller than expected. Sofa sagged in the middle needs to be replaced, freezer did not work correctly was full of ice. Did like how close to the beach it is. Quick elevators. Parking deck was confusing when first got there.

The bedrooms and bath rooms could use some updating, as well as the drapes in the living room. The staff checked me in nothing more- no information was provided about renting beach chairs etc. That would have been helpful and has been the norm in other experiences. Million dollar views ! The crashing waves were most welcome

Family Reunion

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Able to use this Unit twice for family reunion/ Owners were there last September 2023. Very relaxing. In matter of fact 205, 206, 209 notice a Christian decorating atmosphere in all 3 Units/1st Unit decorating in beach scenery. I was happy in selecting all the Units for my friends/ family reunion. Each was happy in the selection that I made with Seabreeze Reality Company and the staff members of Lindsay, Logan, and Patti that I worked with. Royal Garden Resort is a great location to activities in Merrill Inlet. I highly will recommends this place to friends and family.

Evaluation

Location is good. Condition of property not so good. No lamps in living area. Only one lamp in each bedroom with low wattage bulbs making it almost impossible to read. Tv remotes in the two bedrooms had no batteries. Cable man was sent to the room and said the tvs were broke and the owner knew but would not repair. The furniture had been used quite a bit and was not comfortable. This unit should not be advertised by Vrbo.com or the realtor until repairs and upgrades are done. The realtor staff were very pleasant and did what they could. I wish check out could have been a little later.

Quick little getaway

My mother in law is disabled so staying close to the car was perfect! The room was very clean and not a lot of clutter for small children to break! That view was picture perfect!!! A WEEK AT THE BEACH

The drawbacks we had were the condo is really outdated, there was black mold in the washer/dryer closet, the vacuum cleaner was very old and didn’t work well- and the floors needed mopped when we got there. The location was great!

Not a pleasant experience

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: upon arrival we found a two inch roach in our bedroom, mildew on the shower curtains, a red sticky substance on the master comforter and pillows, and the game room token machine was out of order. Property was located away from the touristy part Myrtle Beach which we wanted yet close enough to grocery stores and restaurants.
