A wonderful getway

We recently stayed here and a wonderful relaxing time. The place is well appointed. The beach and docks are perfect. The employees and other residents of the island are friendly and helpful, The owner Julie was wonderful. She kept in touch with us and made sure everything was good.

Hideaway Bay

The condo was great. There is a lot of reconstruction going on from hurricane damage to the area. But, the condo was great, the pool and beach were both in great condition.

We had a great time, Property owner was always great, easy to communicate with. One of the closest places to the beach. It had everything you wanted and needed.

"Paradise Island"

This was our 2nd stay on LGI. Loved it! It's the perfect getaway...with a 3 minute walk to the beach, pool close by and beautiful sunsets! Will be back for sure!

Paradise, close to the beach!

We loved staying at Julie's condo! Miss it already... Everything we needed she had already stocked and ready for us. Whenever we had a question, Julie responded right away, and we appreciated all her suggestions in preparing for our stay (esp the golf cart!). The beach is a short walk away, and we spent most of the days outdoors, either strolling along the beach, or playing in the pool, or discovering the little areas of the island on the golf cart we were able to rent from Julie. Such a relaxing, fun, rejuvinating time, even with our 3 little loud ones! At all times, we felt safe and comfortable - even as we rode out a storm (ferry shuttle was canceled for the day, but we had already gone to the supermarket and were prepared). There is no market on the island, so bring everything along that you would need (thinking a couple days ahead - incl. bottled water, food, paper towels, toiletries). The kids had a blast finding shells of all sorts and many shark teeth (the beach is strewn with shells - even a little sandbar is formed at low tide, packed with shells!). My husband was able to fish from the sand bar/beach, and caught a few good-sized fish! The condo was very convenient and well-equipped. We always washed off our feet down below and locked up our beach gear in the shed, and the laundry worked great for washing up our clothes as needed. We were 3 adults and 3 kids, and the condo fit us perfectly. LGI is not like any other beaches we had gone to - it's very serene, almost untouched by tourists, with breath-taking views, all with an old-Florida island-life feel to it. The kids loved the ferry rides to and fro from the mainland (make sure to put your initials on the list as it is first-come first-served). Everyone was friendly and many families with kids were there. We already miss the island, and hope to be back soon!

Wonderful

We had an amazing week on LGI. Julie was excellent to work with and she was very attentive. The unit was as pictured and location could not be better. It was our first visit to LGI and we were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the island. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and want to rest and recharge your body and soul LGI is a great place to do just that.

Little Gasparilla is a real find

If you enjoy a beautiful private beach, a touch of old Florida, & sunsets. You will enjoy this island. Very beachy property & definitely recommend a cart. I would like ferry to run more often during the week for outings, grocery shopping, & going out to dinner. Improvements on the property would be suggested.

Another Holiday in Paradise

We've been visiting LGI since 2004 and just love the place. Hideaway Bay offers several advantages like the ferry, pool, ice machine, trash removal, etc... that made our vacation a real pleasure. This property is in a great location facing the Gulf Coast. Thank you Julie for your availability in answering any questions and flexibility.

Family vacation

This was our second time to LGI and it was great! There were plenty of supplies from the hosts and previous guests like salt, pepper, coffee filters, spices, etc. and the provided cookware were all that we needed for the week. The TVs are small, but we didn't use them that much so it wasn't much of an inconvenience. Also keep in mind that the wifi is on an island. Everything else was fantastic. Julie is really communicative and so easy to work with.

Second year asn good as last year.

Working with Julie is a pleasure. She has a nice condo with a great view of the gulf. It was well equipped and she contacted me before I left to make sure I knew what was in the condo and what I would need to buy when I got there the first day. I would recommend this as a nice quiet vacation. O.D.

Great Trip

The condo was perfect. Clean, nice and just like pictured. It’s super close to the beach so quick access was a bonus. Julie was amazing and very helpful. We have rented different condos the last five years and I must say this one is one of the best! I already plan on trying to rent it again next year if she’ll have us!

Booked two weeks on the island

Nice location and view. Needed cleaning when we arrived as cabinets were not clean and before putting food away they needed some attention. Fun experience being on the island but would recommend only if you have a vehicle on shore. The beach walking and shelling were great.

Enjoyable experience

The condo was as advertised, clean ,great view of the gulf, and a very helpful friendly owner. I was looking for a place to have some nice weather and just veg. and this was it. I hope to return next Jan. for the same reasons only now I know the area better so I can enloy it even more. I would recommend this Condo and the owner to anyone. O.D.

Perfect location

Julie's condo was the perfect location to the beach. It has plenty of room and everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Julie is quick to reply and made sure that all of my questions were answered ahead of time.

Perfect spot to recharge at the beach

I have stayed on LGI many times. The convenience of staying in a property with a ferry was such a treat! The condo was perfect and only a 2 minute walk from the beach. We will be coming back again! Julie was such a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this property.
