Thank you, Andy, for taking the time to leave your comments. I’m sorry to hear that you experienced these issues during your stay. As I mentioned to you before, most of these things could have been resolved straight away if we had been made aware of them while you were staying at the villa. Unfortunately, we only learned about the missing pool tiles and your grandson’s injury after you had already left. As soon as you informed us about the tiles, I arranged for our maintenance person to come and repair them, and he was able to fix the issue within about an hour. With the heat and the constant use of the pool, particularly by larger groups, it is possible for some of the tiles to come loose. The tiles themselves are made from a soft material, although the adhesive underneath can be sharp when exposed. Unfortunately, none of the previous guests had reported this issue, so we weren’t aware that it needed attention. Regarding the pool cover, it is normally only used when the pool is being heated, which is why it was stored away from the pool during your stay. During the summer months, we generally don’t cover the pool as it is not normally necessary. We really do appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, as it helps us identify anything that may need attention and improve the experience for future guests. Thank you again, Andy.
