Enjoy the sandy beach at Harlyn just 400 yards St Cadoc Cottage, which also has a large garden. Only 2 miles from Padstow famous for Rick Stein’s restaurant.. Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: TV, Woodburner

Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Washing Machine

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Night storage heaters, electricity and bed linen included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Highchair. Enclosed garden with garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 2 cars.. Only 400 yards from Harlyn Beach/Country views. In a wonderful location, this detached holiday cottage retains slate floors to the downstairs and ornamental fireplaces throughout, standing in its own large enclosed garden. Country views are enjoyed from all rooms. It is only 400 yards from the lovely sandy beach of Harlyn, ideal for bathing and surfing and 2 miles from the popular harbour town of Padstow where you can sample the famous Rick Stein restaurants and explore the many quaint shops, or take a ferry to the sailing and water sports resort of Rock. Shop and pub 1/3 mile.

Great location, beach view rather than sea.

Lovely location, and a cosy cottage, no wi-fi which was ok for a week away, lovely big garden, can see the beach from the garden but not the sea, had to clean a few pots and pans in the kitchen before use. Welcomed with scones, cream and jam, which is a nice touch.

We are a family of 4 with 2 grown up children and spent a week at St Cadoc Cottage at the beginning

We are a family of 4 with 2 grown up children and spent a week at St Cadoc Cottage at the beginning of July. Cadoc Cottage is in a beautiful position and the owners are lovely and accommodating. However, there are a couple of issues with the property which would benefit from attention. The property is damp and really needs some air bricks in the walls. Upstairs in the twin bedroom the bedding was damp and we had to take a radiator upstairs to dry the covers out. It's obviously a very old property but perhaps some ventilation bricks would help. It is heated by storage heaters which we didn't have any instructions for so it was a bit of trial and error for the week trying to work out how to control them. The other niggle was that the lounge has a large farmhouse table which takes up a lot of space in an already small/cozy lounge. A smaller extending table would help as the existing table obstructs the view of the television from the armchair. In fairness we were the first people to use the property after lockdown so this can't of helped the damp problem but unfortunately I do think this needs to be sorted out. Having said all this the area is beautiful, you can walk to the beach and coastal path and we all had a good week. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Very comfortable and well equipped. Great location close to beaches and the costal path. Huge garden - great for children. Felt really rural, despite proximity to local amenities. Thanks to the owners for lending us some children’s toys ?. Would definitely recommend.

A compact but lovely cottage in a great location very close to a beautiful cove and overlooking stunning rural views. Only slight niggle was no wi-fi but that’s fixable. Really comfy beds with good quality bedding. The cottage had everything you needed with a large garden. The log burner was great and we used it every evening. The dog loved the walks on the beach close by. Would definitely recommend.

A cute cottage in a great location. The cottage is exactly as described but is small. It was clean and comfortable with a great enclosed garden. Short walk down to Harlyn Bay where you can access the beach and coast path walks. We found the location to be a good base for exploring the local area.

A fantastic week at St Cadoc in an amazing location.

A fantastic week at St Cadoc in an amazing location. A short walk to Harlyn Bay and onto the coast path which takes you to lovely coves and beaches. There is also a great pub in the village which serves food. The cottage is really comfy and with a lovely big garden. This is the second time we've been and will definitely return. Highly recommended.
