Our 3rd stay at Strawberry Lodge! Superb holiday home for 2 humans and 2 dogs! Lovely garden for sitting and bbqs, great walks from your door! Shops just along the Strawberry Line. Great helpful hosts if you need them nearby. Relaxing holiday home!

Lovely place to stay

The property was very clean. Ideally located for the reservoir and mud free dog walk. If you don’t mind a bit of a stroll you can walk into Cheddar town. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Strawberry lodge was lovely.

Strawberry lodge was lovely. Immaculate inside and out. There's a few reviews about "an ungodly amount of spiders" in the high ceiling? I didn't see any. It's probably the cleanest ceiling I've ever seen! Other than the unholy amount of spiders and creepy crawlies on the ceilings the lodge was perfect! Amanda and her husband were so lovely and welcoming and helping out so much when we had troubles on the first night! Couldn’t be more great full! The location was quiet and cozy with walks all around you! Our pooch loved it. Overall it was perfect and other than the bugs I can’t say a bad word about it! The lodge rely needs a car park space next to lodge ,it needs an enclosed garden if you have a dog glass windows above door need cleaning and cobwebs removed outside,we both enjoyed the week, traveled around, best place to visit was Wells, weather was kind. Only gave 9/10 as didn’t have constant hot water.... seemed to be only after a certain time of the morning.... but wasn’t really anything major, shower wasn’t electric so all good there. Only other thing was the coffee table in lounge area which the top was glass was unsecure.... could’ve a accident waiting to happen. But over all Strawberry Lodge was gorgeous and quiet, enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend .... thank you n hopefully be back again soon xx Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A great lodge in a very convenient location dogs were accommodated for free which is very unusual. The owners and the cleaner very helpful and welcoming would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. We had an amazing long weekend at Strawberry Lodge, the location is perfect for anyone that loves walking. The reservoir is a 3 minute walk from the front door and we walked to the Gorge in under an hour. Would be nice if there was a close airer (the washing machine was a blessing with a baby) The garden is lovely but would have preferred if it was fully enclosed, with the dogs. As many other mentioned there are cobwebs in the eaves, but all in all it was very clean and tidy. We definitely want to come back. Excellent lodge , even with new estate next door ! Still quiet ! Blinds were useless, would be awful in the summer sun! Can see in and out through them ! No clothes airer but pegs and an iron ! A bit odd ! Shame it’s not properly fenced in, for the dogs ! Would have been brilliant , if spent a little time and money to secure the area ! Would defineately come here again !

We really enjoyed our stay at Strawberry Lodge. A great location for our visits to Weston-super-Mare, Bath and Cheddar Gorge. We would definitely go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the Lodge was in walking distance of Cheddar Gorge itself, Axbridge and Cheddar Reservoir and the walks for our dogs were great with the Strawberry Line being 2 mins walk away 😁 The Lodge itself was well equipped and cosy and would have scored a very high for cleanliness other than a few cobwebs around the Lodge, however it is under lots of trees which is understandable. We would love to visit again in the future.
