This property is a gem. The house is beautiful and cozy with plenty of space, and had everything we needed. My little girls loved the garden space. It really felt like a home away from home. The location is great- tucked away in the peaceful countryside but close to plenty of things to see. Our host was so kind and accommodating. We loved our week here, thank you!

We loved the beautifully decorated cottage. It was a good size. All kitchen equipment was very good. Just a few more instructions on how to use the oven would be useful, but everything was in perfect working order. The owner was super helpful and kind. Very nice!

This is an extremely comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a beautiful location.

This is an extremely comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a beautiful location. Local shops and a choice of places to eat out are a short drive away. The local pub/hotel is five minutes' walk: we enjoyed a couple of outings there and were made to feel very welcome. The owners of the cottage are lovely and were available if needed but not intrusive. We had a great week here and would recommend the cottage and the surrounding area wholeheartedly.

What a wonderful cottage set on the outskirts of a lovely village.

What a wonderful cottage set on the outskirts of a lovely village. After recent stresses it was great to go somewhere with a slow pace. The owner of the cottage Mairi could not have been more welcoming and was on hand should you require her. The cottage itself was spotless with everything you need and set in its own wonderful garden. Have just returned from a fantastic week in Old Stones Cottage.

Have just returned from a fantastic week in Old Stones Cottage. The cottage is lovely and homely - the underfloor heating and log burner were very welcoming the first few days there as the weather was cold. Very well equipped kitchen although we hardly cooked at all but it was reassuring to know. The owner greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming - there was even a ‘welcome pack’ provided which was great fully received.
