Idyllic location, beautiful cottage with everything we needed. Friendly welcome. Central location meant we were able to easily visit many places from Stonehenge to Lyme Regis and beyond.

Beautiful spot for a relaxed family stay

Beautiful cottage with a fabulous fireplace, a must for a winter break. The setting on a working farm was just lovely and the children were treated to a visit to the lambs, calves and ducklings. The hosts were so helpful. Would love to return. Thank you

A lovely cottage with a great fire burner.

A lovely cottage with a great fire burner. We received a lovely welcome from the owner and she very kindly supplied us with some fresh eggs from the chickens. The cottage is located in a small village outside of Sherbourne with Sherbourne itself having several nice pubs/restaurants to eat in if you don’t fancy cooking. The only problem I think we had was possibly the location in North Dorset but I think that was more our fault of the property itself. The property itself was well equipped and clean and it was handy having the owner next door. Overall great value for money and a peaceful location . We had a really wonderful stay , everything you needed was there for you.

We had a really wonderful stay , everything you needed was there for you. The host Alexa and her Husband are incredibly lovely hosts - nothing was to much trouble. Watching the Cows go by to be milked and the Sheep grazing from our Cottage was just amazing!! If you like nature and rural beauty you will not be disappointed!! :) We are looking forward to stay there again as we had a truly wonderful time :)x Thank you for making our stay the memorable xx Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Absolutely gorgeous place.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Really cosy, spacious, beautiful farmhouse with old beams and lovely fireplace. Everything is there in abundance including homemade cakes on arrival! Wonderful stay thankyou very much!

This is a very well equipped and comfortable cottage.

This is a very well equipped and comfortable cottage. It is attached to the owners’ farmhouse and the owner is very pleasant and helpful. The nearby village has a few amenities but Sherborne is very close with a Sainsbury ( next to the station) and a Waitrose that we didn’t find. There are plenty of places of interest nearby to visit.

Peaceful cottage in a beautiful setting. Lazy afternoons spent relaxing in the garden watching the wildlife on the lake and the cows going to be milked. Cosy evenings with the log burner. Well equipped and a real home from home.

Beautiful location, very clean and well equipped. The owner was very helpful but not intrusive. There are many things to do in the area and the coast is easily accessible by car. The nearby town of Sherborne is well worth a visit with several good restaurants.

Our second stay and not our last. Great welcome from the family and a wonderful place to stay. Very comfy cottage with everything you could need.Very peaceful location but only a short drive to Sherborne. Surrounded by wildlife ....... wonderful.

This was our seventh visit to the wonderful farm cottage.

This was our seventh visit to the wonderful farm cottage. Wonderfully equipped, comfortable with everything to make our holiday stay extremely enjoyable. There are wonderful walks to be enjoyed right from the door and plenty to see in the surrounding area.
