We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bergerac Cottage, it was very homely, warm and welcoming. The cottage was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was included in our stay. The Host was absolutely lovely and so helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed ahead of checking in. The cottage is in a lovely peaceful spot with beautiful gardens. The sunsets on an evening and stargazing at night are definitely worth trying to catch if you can!Would definitely recommend.

The cottage was lovely… all the necessary kitchen equipment and really good to have dishwasher tablets washing up liquid etc. Comfy beds The setting was beautiful, peaceful with lots of wild life to see and listen to the birds

Lovely quiet rural location.

Lovely quiet rural location. Saw woodpeckers every day on the bird feeders. Footpaths from the cottage excellent. Cottage very clean and comfortable with friendly owners. Lyme Regis is a very good base with good local shops and coastal walks. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bergerac. It wasn’t really a problem for us but the bedrooms were rather small and not sound-proof. I can imagine that if 5 adults and a child were staying it would feel rather cramped. The facilities and equipment were excellent. A lovely quiet location within easy driving distance of town. We were adopted by a local cat who seemed to think this was his or her home !

A fantastic countryside location within easy reach of Lyme. The hillside walk into Lyme is part of the holiday. The cottage is cosy and relaxing. We love watching the garden birds, the badger and enjoyed the company of the friendly local cat. Our visit coincided with RLNI week in the town which included brilliant family activities each week. The local surf shop is ace and our teenagers really enjoyed the Stand Up Paddle Board lesson. Foodie highlights included cornish pasty's, sconces and local beer from the Mill. There's a Waitrose nearby by in Bridport which is vibrant and great to visit on a Wednesday or Saturday for its street market. This was out third year in Lyme and we will be back again for sure.
