This is a great little Condo in Indian Springs, Elkhorn. We love it here and have stayed many times & will be back. Jason is great to work with. Very prompt if we need anything.Our long weekend was perfect. We caught the fall colors just at the perfect time. There was even a dusting of snow on the upper mountains. No wonder we love October!Thank you so much, Jason

Nice place close to everything

Very nice place to stay. Close to town and local hikes. Comfortable. Back door is broken and hard to open/close but otherwise had everything we needed. Would stay here again

Very comfortable condo in Elkhorn with great views off of the back deck. The property is well appointed and has placed new furniture since our last stay. We love staying here and will come back again.

Great location

This property was a great location, comfortable, and suited our needs. We loved the fireplace; it was nice and necessary on colder days. It needs some minor general maintenance and additions, but otherwise was a very nice condo.

Great little GetAway

We enjoyed our stay at this great location. Family of four. Close to both ski areas. Great appliances. You have to drive a very short distance, but the hot tub at the end of the day was excellent. Overall it was a great place to stay. We look forward to hopefully getting this location again when we return to Sun Valley.

We had a great time staying at the Elkhorn Village. The place was. Convenient to all the ski areas and downtown. You could take a short walk to get on the bus, access the pool and hot tub and also to get you to downtown.. we also got to bring our dog. Which area was very pet friendly. It had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying again..

Second time staying here - highly recommend!

This place is perfect for a couple and pet. It is quiet, close to town and close to the trails (we were there to mtn bike). We cooked meals every day, kitchen had all we need. The grill and patio are excellent and well shaded, so nice to spend time there every morning and evening. Only issue is it's a bit of a walk from the car to the condo, so if you have mobility issues look somewhere else. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere close to town and close to the resort for skiing, biking or hiking. We will be back again soon!

Great Ski-cation site

We came for spring break to enjoy Sun Valley skiing. We learned that taking the bus would have been a better choice for getting to the ski resort...not really anywhere to park and the drop off zones are a farce. The property location is only a 10 minute ride to the resort. It was fun walking the dog around the property. A lot of paths to explore. We did not use the pool facility, but if you do make sure you provide your names to Jason. Jason was a great host! The place has everything that you would need for your stay. We will be coming back for another adventure!

Good in a pinch, but...

The owner was accessible, courteous and helpful. We had a last-minute need due to family emergency on a mid-winter/holiday week and appreciated finding the place. The location was convenient, though unit difficult to find during our middle-of-the-night arrival. The 2nd bed was not good - too uncomfortable to sleep on (lucky we brought a back-up blow up mattress) and the sheets on that bed were clearly used (bits of tortilla chips and hair, lucky we brought back-up sleeping bags). The damage deposit was three to five times higher than usual which was charged to my credit card before our stay, and took many business days after our departure to get that charge reversed.

I am sorry the condo was hard to find in the night. I hope the maps I sent to you via text helped you find the condo. Next time I am up there I will take more pictures or a video to send to new customers so it will be easier to find. I am using a new cleaning lady now so hopefully the cleanliness issue is taken care of. For the uncomfortable sofa sleeper I have slept on it myself and thought it was pretty good for a sofa sleeper, but I will buy an air mattress to leave in the condo for another option for sleeping. The damage deposit is 1500 that you get back if nothing is broken and is stated in the expense so it should not be a surprise, if you choose that option. Not sure if I know how to change the deposit but if my TV was broken by a guest I would still lose 700 dollars to replace it, because the TV alone was 2200 dollars. You can do the insurance option which is cheaper but you don't get the money back. When you choose the damage deposit it will charge you the money until your stay is over and the condo is looked at in which I promptly send the deposit back.

Good price, needs some love

Overall we had a good time with friends. He was very responsive with questions, and easy to work with. The location is amazing which was great for my conference at Sun Valley. It looked like it was going under some repairs that weren't quiet finished. There was an outlet that was left unfinished so the cords were out so if you have kids or dogs pay attention. When we first got there I went to make sure the thermostat was on and as it was going to get cold at night but it did not work. I text the owner and he said it had recently broken. So we had to use the fireplace to heat up the main living area, it was either on or off so when we came home it would be cold but in the middle of the night it was hot but the fireplace did work great at heating the unit- and the master bedroom did have it's own heating unit which worked great as well. We noticed quiet a few light bulbs were out and couldn't find any replacements. It would have been nice to have a hair dryer, I didn't bring mine because I assumed they would have one and didn't notice that one wasn't on the list of things included. Which was annoying because I had to speak at my conference so I had to run over there to find a colleague with a hair dryer. When we went to put the towels in the washer we noticed a very strong mold smell. I know there are a lot of things on here. Mostly were just slight inconveniences but I believe the owner should know and a review was the best place just in case these are still issues for the next people.

First of all thank you for staying with us. The battery for the thermostat died recently and will be replaced. We also had a blow dryer at the place so it must be missing and we will buy a replacement. There are electric heaters in the living room and bedroom that can be set to keep the temperature at a comfortable temperature. Which work great for when the thermostat battery dies. These definitely are things that will be fixed. Other than these inconveniences I hope you had a great stay!

Property in need of TLC

My husband and I have spent many long weekends in the Sun Valley area, and we've stayed in a number (20+) of modestly priced rentals over the past decade. Unfortunately this property didn't measure up for us on value, and we won't be returning. The property is nestled in the heart of Elkhorn in an older but well maintained condo complex. There was sufficient parking, and check in was easy per a coded lock. Further on the positive side, we appreciated Jason's responsiveness, the condo had plenty of room for two, and the TVs (one in bedroom and one in living room) and appliances (washer/dryer, refrigerator/freezer, oven/range, dishwasher) were modern/up to date. On the down side, the property needs quite a bit of upkeep. The inside lacks natural light, and the light fixtures either had burned out bulbs or the wrong type of bulb such that the bulbs constantly flickered. The sofas and rug are worn and tattered, and the mattress needs to be replaced having exceeded its lifespan. The kitchen has minimal counter space and needs updating, as does the bathroom and fireplace (all seemed to be original 80s vintage). The glass surface on the dining table isn't secured (definitely not kid-friendly). The lock on the sliding glass door was broken, and the replacement locking device wasn't secure (we had to screw it back into the door). The area outside [the deck] was pleasant and visually tranquil, but unfortunately there was constant construction noise from the site about 100 yards away. In addition, the deck is springy, seemingly lacking appropriate structural stability. In summary, this property has potential but just didn't meet the mark for my husband and I.

Nice unit but with problems

Overall the condo was quite nice and cozy. The fireplace was awesome and the bed was very comfortable. We also loved having a T.V. in the bedroom. But, unfortunately the icemaker didn't work on the new fridge, so I had to go out to find crushed ice for our drinks. And there were no coffee filters or coffee for the coffee pot. I can understand not providing coffee, but we wouldn't know what size of filters to bring. We were unable to use the pans that were provided because they all had some sort of coating issues; they were either scratched or the coating was starting to come off. They should have been replaced. Also, outside on the walking path there was a low spot where the snow was melting and water had built up. So in the morning when we left this area had frozen which made it extremely slippery. Ice melt was never applied prior to us leaving in the mornings. Also, we were not able to use the grill because the snow was melting from the deck above and water was dripping everywhere onto the lower deck where the grill was.

Cute little shady place

Perfect small get away - in Elkhorn. The only thing was you could use the pool/hot tub but it closed at 5 pm so I could never make it there before it closed.
