We love to find somewhere quiet to stay once a year.

We love to find somewhere quiet to stay once a year. My friend and my son like to head into the mountains, I like to paint whatever there is to see, and we all like a bit of silence. We weren't prepared to love the cottage as much as we did. It's beautiful inside and out, very clean, and silent. We went stargazing one night and even without leaving the drive we could see the Milky Way and more stars than you could shake a stick at.It was a proper home away from home, felt loved and lived in despite being a holiday home. It just breathed a welcoming atmosphere that caught our hearts right away.We had a brilliant time and we're definitely hoping to come back!

This was a delightful area to explore with shops, restaurants, pubs all in Betws-y-Coed a short distance away. Sadly the famous Swallow Falls was just a fraction of the majestic, spendour usually on show, - due to the excessive ongoing heatwave. but lots of other places of interest - ie Gwydir Castle and The Ugly House,- both with fascinating history. Also Portmerrion, Snowdonia, & many, many more all within reasonable distance to visit. The cottage has everything needed for a holiday, however long a spell and was very cosy and comfortable. The only slight disappointment was of no available garden, outside space (or play area for any children to enjoy) for us all to sit, relax and chill after a days' excursion, but we (all adults) just plodded back up the hill - not really a suitable play area for unsupervised children to roam, thoughUpon our arrival, Eifion, (owner) stopped by to welcome us in person which was very much appreciated. Another lovely surprise was some milk and Welsh cakes in the 'fridge, which was a rare treat. Various hillside walks surround the cottage which have spectacular views from the (long stroll) top! There is such a lot to discover in this area which makes Bryn Ceifeilau a true hidden gem in this special part of Wales. We certainly hope to return at some stage. I accidently left my mobile behind which was swiftly posted onto me, which was another kindness from Eifion, This cottage and the comfort installed was a rare and delightful find.

Lovely cottage

The cottage was clean and comfortable and had all the basics. Lovely location . My only complaint would be clearer instructions on using appliances( especially the hobb). The information book was a complete mess and no guidelines as to what to do with full rubbish bins etc. Also the sign we were told to look out for to find the cottage was completely unreadable. Otherwise great.

Great cottage.

This great cottage is in a beautiful area. The kitchen was very well equipped. It would have been nice to have a tidy area to sit out in the evening, but that's my only gripe. Had fun watching the lambs that kept escaping. Would definitely book this again.

Lovely cottage, well equipped and clean. Only minor downside not very good walking routes from the cottage and it's a car drive to the nearest pub and amenities. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
