Impeccable view from a not so impeccable villa
On arrival to villa we immediately found a huge broken pane in the bedroom patio door which was not fixed from day one to day 14. Therefore we were unable to use the door for the beautiful view on awakening every morning. The shower had a huge leak that constantly dripped and tapped on the tiled floor day and night. This was not fixed till day 6 of our stay. A huge kitchen shows in the pictures but the cupboards are all virtually empty of equipment and crockery. Only 2 minute expresso size cups in cupboard No glasses to use other than egg cup size so honeymoon toasts are impossible for those who read as we did that this is a honeymoon Villa. No cloths, no cleaning equipment and extremely used and odd towels supplied. Air conditioning was faulty and had to be ran at a higher temperature than lowest as it tripped out otherwise. We were told the pool man would come everyday to see to the pool and when I notified the lady who was left to sort these things that he hadn't attended for 3 days it ended up with the pool man barging into the villa and shouting at me to see what was the problem. He obviously wasn't happy I'd told his boss he hadn't been attending when they assumed he had! Probably had something to do with the reason he added extra chemicals to the pool the day before we left so it could not be used. Never saw or have ever spoken to the manager as he leaves an English speaking person to rectify these problems! Unfortunately for her we had a long list of issues but not much got sorted. It seems that Kalkan is enjoying the tourism but is forgetting the tourists. Ultimately from this villa it has one of the best views in Kalkan but that is not because of the villa whatsoever. First time we have ever given bad feedback.
