This beautiful Bunkhouse is convenient to UT, Smoky Stadium, Thompson Bowling Arena, Downtown Knoxville, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Approximately 3.5 miles off of interstate I-40. Gated entrance with ample parking.

Have your coffee on the back porch while enjoying wild turkey and deer across the pasture.

Pet Policy:
15 lbs or less, non-shedding, and housebroken pets are considered. 1 pet per property. No cats. MUST be pre-approved by KT Cabins. A pet fee will be charged in these cases and must be approved prior to rental.

Smoking: Smoking inside the house is strictly prohibited.

House Parties: House parties are strictly prohibited.

Must be 24 years of age to rent.

Great communication! And the bunkhouse was more beautiful in person than the pics let on. Very nice stay for family and friends for a Tennessee football game.

Location was perfect if you are going to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or Knoxville for the day. The housewas great and as expected.

The property was excellent for my family of nine, four adults and five young children. We all played games, basketball, volleyball and other yard games. Inside you have pool table, which we all played a lot at night. The location was easy to get downtown to the Sunsphere and Sweetwater The Lost Sea. We all enjoyed the back porch watching the cow and their calves. Extremely relaxing, would highly recommended this location.

This was a terrific home for our trip with three couples to Knoxville. There was plenty of space doe the 6 of us, gorgeous property and grounds and conveniently located just 15 minutes from Neyland Stadium and Knoxville. Definitely recommend staying here.

The place was perfect for us as we needed to be close to the UT campus and surrounding area. The home is very spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The back deck was amazing, and we were fascinated by the ever-changing pastoral scene complete with baby calves. The covered area outside the primary suite was a perfect place to gather at the end of the day. The spring flowers were beautiful; the night sky was peaceful with tons of stars and a few fireflies. It was a 10 star stay!

The Bunkhouse was perfect for our trip. We had 7 adults coming in from a couple places and there was plenty of space for us all. The kitchen is large and worked well for us. It is close enough to Knoxville to have plenty of options to go out as well. The deck looking over the farm was nice and relaxing as well. Thank you for having us.

This place held plenty of room for my wife and me and our six children (ages 14 to 24). The one bunk bed was a little small for our 5'10" 16 year old but he made due. Overall we were very comfortable and the area was nice and quiet. Nothing like 30 cows grazing behind you as you sip coffee on the deck in the morning. The place is really comfortable and nicely decorated. We will come back.

Great place for a large family!

We had a great time and the house was so nice. Clean and plenty to do or just rest and relax. Nice cooking kitchen that could use some basic things such as kitchen towels and the basic cleaning products.. listing should be fixed to reflect the current bedroom offerings and pet policy. Listing seems outdated. Plenty of space for everyone and was comfortable. We really wish we would have been able to see the horses and cows and we couldn’t. That was disappointing. We only could hear them. Lovely property and I would stay again for sure!

Thank you for the review. We take all reviews very seriously, good and bad. We updated the bedroom configuration at the bunk house creating a larger bedroom. We did go in and update most of our sites. We will check to make sure the most recent accommodations are listed. We are sorry you didn't get to see the cows. We don't have horses on Gilreath Farms. We have a large heard of Red Angus, Highland cattle and Mini Highlands (so cute). Unfortunately, at the time of your visit they had been rotated to their winter pasture on the other side of the farm. If we had known you wanted to see them we would have given you a tour. Especially the mini's. Hopefully you will elect to stay with us again so we can see our cattle.

Wonderful Property

We had 9 staying here and it felt like we could have easily had half a dozen more! It’s spacious, but comfortable & cozy feeling. We loved it and enjoyed our stay immensely - we will definitely be back! We had no super major complaints, just a few wish list/tips. It would be nice if the listings were reviewed for accuracy, one says 6 bedrooms, one says 7 and I think a few bed options changed from the images. The listing says water park/playground, no big deal for us that it’s not there and could impact someone else’s stay. (I asked before booking and got an answer, which was timely and appreciated!!)

Amazing Experience

The Bunkhouse was Amazing. We were here for Thanksgiving and kicked our Christmas season off right! The pictures of this property are great but when you walk through the door your like Wow! We had family that came over to eat Thanksgiving and there was more than enough room for us all to move around and prepare our feast! At all times you could find several sitting at the kitchen table reminiscing and telling stories! Made for an enjoyable clean up in the kitchen. Down stairs playing pool, or just sitting in the living room loving on the kiddos. I think a few squeezed in a nap. The back porch was awesome to sit and watch the wildlife! Grill some steaks and enjoy the crisp air! You could always find the guys in the evening at the hot tub! You are close to a dollar general, 10 mins from Krogers, and pigeon forge isn’t but 30 mins away (back roads) to go to the Dolly Pardon Stampede (it is so worth it all ages) the interstate is 5 mins to the right. We will be back. Hopefully to see snow next time! Our family that lives in Knoxville were ready for us to plan our next trip!

Had a good time

We needed a place to stay close to Knoxville for a National cheer competition. The Bunkhouse was close enough but not in the thick of the city so it worked nicely for us. The view is nice and we enjoyed watching the cows and listening to the coyotes.

The house was very pretty. It was very clean. Would recommend this rental. It sets on a farm with beautiful scenery. A horse named Freedom and cows. Loved it!

Wonderful House to Stay

This house was perfect for our vacation in the area. Lots of room. When we stayed before, we stayed in a cabin located on the mountain and it was closer to more attractions but we loved this location much more. It was out away from noise, busy streets, ect. We only had to drive about 40 minutes to get to the "big" attractions of the area, which was not bad at all. There were lots of places to eat, shop, ect within minutes. The hosts were quick to respond with any questions and the house was very clean and equipped. I recommend staying here and we would certainly return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Peaceful Country House

My family and I were in town for an event in Knoxville. This house was the perfect setting for us. Had everything we needed to feel at home, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a quiet beautiful and peaceful setting!

Strawberry Delight

We had a nice family getaway. The house was clean and spacious with a relaxing back yard view. We enjoyed the hot tub, game room and the nicely decorated spaces. From the mocking bird singing all day, the beautiful horse & cows in the pastures, wild turkeys, groundhog spotting it was a stay enjoyed by all ages. We enjoyed our homemade strawberry ice cream on the large back deck sitting under the strawberry moon. We were close enough to other areas for enjoying a day at Gatlinburg and another at Soaky Mountain Waterpark. We would definitely stay again.

Don't pass this up

My family just returned from visiting Tennessee and we stayed at this fantastic bunk house. We have 4 teenagers (15+) and is was perfect. Everyone had enough space to do what they wanted, yet the kitchen table allowed us all to eat/play games together. I cannot say enough about this place. Tina was VERY responsive. If you're looking for a nice place to stay and don't mind driving ~40 min into the mountains/tourist attractions, away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, this is your place. We didn't mind the drive to do touristy stuff, especially when we knew we were coming back to a peaceful place. Highly recommend for multiple or large families.

Ken and Tina have rented overnight for 20 years around Knoxville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We live on a 230 acre farm that includes 3 overnight rentals. We raise Red Angus, Highland and Mini Highland cattle. We are one of the largest farms in the area within 8 miles to the center of Knoxville.

You will likely see us working from a far on and around the farm while staying with us.
