Manualoha 101 is a ground floor, privately located end unit in the Poipu Kai Resort on the knoll just above world famous Poipu Beach Park and Brennecke's Beach.

The premiere location makes it a short walk to beach activities, tennis, dining, and the Kauai Hyatt. Ocean views from the lanai and portable a/c's in the bedroom and living room make this condo a wonderful choice.

Manualoha boasts stunning whitewater ocean views and enchanting sunsets and a beautiful seaside pool and tennis courts. The two story unit has two covered lanai, the ground floor lanai opens up to a grassy area with a walking path to the beach.

There is free private parking. There is great snorkeling, surfing and park facilities as well as the adjoining Brennecke’s Beach, Poipu’s premier body boarding beach, all just steps away.

*Rates are based on Season and subject to change until reservation is confirmed. Reservations include Poipu Beach Athletic Club membership $30/Night. Interpretive Administrative Zoning Rules and Regulations requires that we mention that this transient vacation rental in located in a tsunami evacuation zone

Vicki and the property manager were excellent. This property was everything we expected in location and proximity. Right next to the pool and a direct path to the ocean. Both of the lanais were excellent- the ground level one was a great spot for the family to hang out while the upper one provided a great view of the ocean and a wonderful place to decompress at night. Parking was always available. The air conditioning kept things at a comfortable temperature.The place was well stocked from the kitchen to a closet filled with activities from boogie boards to beach chairs to anything else that was needed. Thank you for everything provided.The only two notes to keep in mind for this property- the ground floor does have a couple steps in it to get to the living room space. We had someone with mobility difficulties, so we had to work around that. Also, the upstairs beds are rather short. We had two people over 6 foot in those beds, and they were definitely bigger than the beds. Neither of these factors diminished our experience and we would gladly stay here again!!Finally, the passes to the athletic club were so appreciated- thank you for including them.Overall, a fantastic experience and so glad we got the chance to use this as the base for our trip!!

Everything was wonderful especially the view out the front windows and from the patio. The beach accessories were also great to have. Hopefully we'll be able to stay here again sometime in the near future.

Pros - Fantastic location for the price we paid. Outdoor grill and pool nearby. Proximity to the beach was great, just a short walk from the lanai. Cons - The A/C didn’t work very well and indoors was very warm and a few nights were hot even with the shades closed. One of the A/C units exhaust vent was broken sending hot air into the unit when we arrived and management acknowledged but didn't fix it. I ended up re-wrapping the vent with some of the existing tape and plastic wrap. A/C and fans were caked with dust on all vents. The shower door fell off and took a day to repair. The unit floor didn’t appear clean but wasn’t something we brought up to management. Odd, but didn’t affect my trip - The couch bed didn’t work well so if are expecting an extra bed, beware it might not work. Window slats didn’t close all the way or work very well at all if we wanted to open them. Unsure what towels we should use for the beach vs shower. No dishcloth, so cleaning the stove and counters with a sponge was difficult.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location can’t be beat! We walked to see the turtles and monk seals every day/night at Poipu Beach. It’s a very short walk to Puka Dog and Brennecke Beach where you can boogie board. The pool is right around the corner and has a great view and is super relaxing. With that being said, the place needs a major overhaul. The main bedroom had a strong mold/mildew smell. The carpet is old and stained. The shower is barely big enough to turn around (impossible to shave my legs). In the main living space, there is no comfortable place to sit. We couldn’t use the a/c unit in there because the plastic hose was cracked off. The dishwasher is absolutely disgusting on the inside and the plates/pots/skillets are soooo old/chipped. The loft had plenty of fans, but again the carpet was old and stained. I tried to open a window and a wood slat literally crumbled in my hand. We tried to spend as least amount of time as possible inside as it just wasn’t a nice place to hang out or relax. The host was very accommodating with a very early check in time which was appreciated.

Great Location

Unit was as advertised. Can't beat the location, close to beach and pool. Overall, the unit is acceptable. Needs new floor fans (squeaky/noisy). My family stayed in the same unit 34 years ago, and besides the new bathroom countertops and newer appliances, it has pretty much the same 80's motif with ratan furniture and outdated patio furniture. I would stay here again with my family as the location can't be beat. Wanna do Brenneke's at the spur of the moment? This is the place to stay!

Two pools on site and a short drive to Athletic Club. The house isn’t super fancy so if you’re looking for central AC and top of the line furniture, floors, and bathrooms you’ll be disappointed. I thought it was perfect. Tons of beach items available which was excellent. We would 100% stay here again.

Poipu is awesome

Awesome location for a great condo stay. Next to the pool and very short walk to the beach. Some updates are needed, but when you’re in Hawaii, these things matter very little. We would stay here again. PS: Buy some puzzles, games and videos. It rained for our first three days.

Perfect Spot

All the amenities one needs for a great Poipu stay. Nice, quiet master and cute, simple loft with twins. We had a teen use sleeper sofa in loft, which worked well. Kitchen has all needs covered. Chairs and boogie boards to use. Simple parking and nice pool. All just very easy peasy. And super clean and comfy. Great communication, too. Terrific location. Easy walk to Brenneck’s and Poipu Beach. Poipu has excellent snorkeling, and at this time, we saw basking Green Turtles and Monk Seals. Walk to several restaurants.

Stayed two months

This unit may be the best location on the property with an amazing view and close to the pool. Vicki is the most awesome host/property manager we have ever encountered. If I owned a property she would be the kind of person I would want to represent me.

Wonderful stay at Poipu

The facility boasts an amazing location and is very close to the beach (1 minute walk). The unit was well stocked with necessities, although we didn't cook in at this unit due to our short stay duration. The unit IS very warm, but there are many fans available and with the right setup everyone was comfortable in the evenings. Great unit for families and we would recommend.

Wonderful place, a few repairs needed

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. Great location, steps from Brennecke’s beach where our boys had a blast boogie boarding. The house is well stocked with kitchen amenities and tons of beach gear. We felt very at home. Beautiful views from the lanais. A few things need some attention: sliding glass door was so difficult to open and close for ventilation and security. Also, we didn’t use the upstairs much because it was so hot at night, being midsummer. The 2 ac units downstairs were great and thankfully there was a queen pull out bed the boys could use instead of the twin beds upstairs, but the separate beds upstairs were one of the reasons I booked here. There is a second pull out downstairs but we couldn’t get it out. So, a few frustrations that are fixable, but a gem of a place otherwise. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Great time with the family

The condo was in a great location. Right next to the pool, easy parking, short walk to the beach. I wish it would have had central air, especially for the kids upstairs. It could benefit from a little updating but overall, it was great and had what we needed for our vacation.
