Myself and my partner had 3 lovely relaxing weeks at villa Topaz. The villa was very private and had nobody overlooking us, which was lovely…. There is an outdoor BBQ which we used a few times. Watched TV outside some evenings which was great! Cooking facilities had everything you need. Pool was fantastic.Our hosts collected us from the airport and sent us places to eat and visit which was a bonus.David kept us informed before we visited his property on any questions i had. He replied very quickly even with the time difference. We enjoyed our stay.. Thank you from Alison and Mick

Memorable Stay

It was a wonderful stay. The longer I stayed the longer I appreciated the this romantic paradise - even though I was by myself. I ate well and everything worked well, especially the wifi. I’m getting up there in age, so I’m entitled to complain a little, but I was at a loss for words. Watching TV outside is great. Pool was super clean and personally I liked the tile outside. The design is so good, you never get too hot.

Fabulous and quiet villa

We loved this villa. The pool and outdoor area are fabulous, lovely and spacious inside with cooling air con and a great kitchen with all utensils. You need to supply your own soap/body wash and ask when you need the villa cleaned. Very responsive and attentive service. Lovely generous owner. The location is a little further out but really quiet which we loved at the end of the day around the pool. Very easy to get Grab taxis and home deliveries if desired. Highly recommended.

Hello Stephen, thank you very much for your review of Villa Topaz and glad you loved the villa. Just to make it clear regarding soap/body wash. As this is a Villa, rather than a Hotel, we provide a small bottle of shampoo and body wash which lasts for one or two nights for guests (as stated under our description on VRBO). Dave ist wirklich ein sehr, sehr guter Gastgeber. Wenn man ein kleines Problem hat, wird es sofort behoben. Wir sind das zweite Mal in der Villa und haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt die Villa ist ein bisschen abgelegen. Man hat viel Ruhe. Mit dem Roller kann man schnell zum Supermarkt oder in die City gelangen. Auch der Flughafentransfer klappt ohne Probleme hin und zurück.

Tolle Unterkunft, ein Traum

Der Vermieter ist super freundlich und sehr interessiert, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Leider ist der Strand vor Ort nicht so schön, aber mit einem Roller kann man in kurzer Zeit tolle Strände erreichen

Perfekter Urlaub

David und Neung sind perfekte Gastgeber. David holte uns am Flughafen ab. Das gebuchte Motorrad stand schon vor der Villa und der Urlaub konnte sofort beginnen. Die Villa ist so wie beschrieben und auf den Photos.. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Keine Beanstandungen. Die Lage der Villa ist ruhig und nachts kann man erholsam schlafen.

Brand new with all mod cons

Everything you would want from a villa . PRIVACY , it’s all brand new , open living , you have a bath it’s really home from home with a pool . Why would you stay in a hotel when you can stay here at around £100 a night

Perfect from Start to Finish........

As regular visitors to Koh Samui over the past 25 years staying in all manner of Villa's we recently stayed at Villa Topaz for a couple of weeks over the Xmas period. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Stunning new Villa in a lovely private location yet still close to all local amenities. In fact, this is the second time we've stayed at one of Dave's Villa's, all his properties are of the same high standard and Dave is the perfect unobtrusive host. We also took advantage of his hassle free car and motorbike hire for the duration of our stay. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Villa Topaz or indeed any of Dave's properties to fellow travellers. First Class.

Quiet and secluded. Away, yet still close.

Very nice place. I really enjoyed the open TV/lounge area next to the pool. The villa is like my own private oasis. Really nice tub! The villa is located right by the lovely and quiet southern beaches. It is away from the towns a bit, but not really far. I like the nature atmosphere much more than the town. There are plenty of mini marts and restaurants in the area. Riding into Lamai town takes about 12 mins on motorbike. Maybe less, but I like to drive slow. Dave has to be one of the best and most helpful of hosts. I would recommend this villa to couples who want to get away from it all, but still have everything easily accessible.
