This property requires a minimum of a 3night stay and cannot accommodate Sunday arrivals. A wonderful, detached country home in Norwich, Norfolk and can sleep nine people in five bedrooms.

Cherry Tree Cottage is a wonderful, detached country home in Norwich, Norfolk. It has five bedrooms: one master with king-size with an en-suite shower, basin and WC, one twin with en-suite shower room, basin and WC, one double, one single and one twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room in a separate annexe. There is a bathroom and WC, as well as a ground floor shower room and WC. Downstairs has an open-plan living room with a kitchen and dining area. There is an additional sitting room in the annex, and a utility room. Off-road parking is available. Outside has a private lawned garden with a patio area and furniture provided. Note: Minimum 5 night booking over Christmas. Note: Holiday bookings only, no worker bookings. Note: This property has a minimum 3 night stay and cannot accommodate Sunday arrivals. Note: This property does not have EV charging facilities and for insurance purposes, vehicles are not to be charged at the property

Amenities: Oil fired central heating. Electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, a selection of books, games and DVDs and WiFi. Fuel, power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Private rear lawned garden with patio area and furniture and built in BBQ ( owner provides first bag of charcoal). 11x Travel cot and 1x highchair provided at the property and additional child bed (available on request). Two well-behaved pets allowed. Sorry no smoking. Pub 2 miles, Shop 3 miles. Note; Access to bunk bed room is via the master bedroom. Note: No stag/hen or similar. Note; Childs bunk only suitable for upto 12 years. Please note: This property has a good house keeping bond of £250. Holiday bookings only, no worker bookings. This property is on the same road as property 971107 (Greenacres) and can be booked in conjunction with this property to sleep an additional 11 guests. Town: Norwich is a medieval and cultural city in East Anglia. It is best known for its wonderful Tudor houses, cobbled streets and half-timbered houses. Norwich also offers many stylish pubs, art galleries, theatres, museums, as well as restaurants, cinemas and shopping facilities. Let's not forget about the many parks, gardens and historical sites.

This is a great property for downstairs communal areas and outdoor dinning space. The property is spacious with excellent shower facilities. Good communication with the holiday let company especially Karen who called at the property to ensure we had everything and to provide local knowledge.

Listing inaccurate

Bad stuff: The property was advertised as 8 bedroom. It was a 5 bedroom property with an additional annexe bedroom. I was running a training course. One of my participants was forced to sleep on the floor. The heating did not work in the downstairs lounge - the room my student slept in on the floor. The boiler broke down on the last day and we had no hot water.Good stuff: The landlord was very responsive and attended the property within a few minutes to deal with the boiler issue. The property was immaculate. You could have eaten off the floor. It was a beautiful location; private yet easy to access from the main road. There was more than adequate parking space, easy access to local amenities and comfortable. If I had another retreat with fewer people I would book again, though not through VRBO. They did finally agree to a 25% refund after 4 weeks of email ping pong and threats of legal action. Overall, I was very impressed with the property, with the exception of the lack of 2 advertised bedrooms. I was extremely disappointed in VRBO and would not trust their listings in future.

Fabulous Christmas

Very well presented property, comprehensively equipped for the 11 occupants. House tastefully decorated for Christmas, including two trees. Spacious and comfortable, room to socialise and escape for some personal space if needed. This has been one of the best Christmas celebrations we have had as a complete family under the same roof. Secure garden for the dogs to be let out and some pleasant walks in the local area. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a family gathering.
