This property is a fully furnished 1 bedroom condo in a quiet 6-plex unit on the lake. Peaceful lake views, beach, boat, dock and summer pool access right out the door, and alpine lifts just across the street! Giants Ridge MTB trails, nordic trails, paved Mesabi rec trail, and a multitude of hiking trails all begin within walking distance. Return from a day of adventure and enjoy all the comforts of our modernized condo. Full bathroom with laundry center, private bedroom with TV, open-concept living area with full, updated kitchen, stone fireplace, dining table and lake views. For more than two guest, a sleeper sofa with extra linens is at the ready.

Condo was nicely remodeled and the location to amenities was great. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, pool and several pickleball games. Even with 1 bedroom, it was very comfortable for our family of 4. We would definitely book again.

Great location + gorgeous condo!

We loved our stay at Shawn’s property. It has a beautiful view of the lake and all the amenities you could ask for. It was the perfect location for access to Giant’s Ridge. We hope to be back again soon!

Biking heaven

We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely location for a family adventure. We were close to the Mesabi bike trails and enjoyed the pool and hot tub after riding all day. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed.

Lots of Amenities

Everything you could need in this very clean and comfortable villa. Great lakes, trails, museums and activities near by. Shawn was very responsive. Great stay!!!

Giant's Ridge Villas

Convenient to both the beach & heated swimming pool at the Giant's Ridge Villas. The Mesabi bike trail is just across the road. More of the family was next door in a timeshare unit.

2021 Spring Break Snowboard Trip

Exactly the relaxing vacation we were hoping for. From booking to check-out, the process was extremely easy. The owner, Shawn, was quick to respond and provided clear guidelines. Literally, Giants Ridge was a 1 min drive down the road. Gorgeous front door mountain view and back door lake view. Pics are exactly what you see inside. Very cozy and comfy! If we decide to plan another trip there, we would definitely stay there again!

Nice getaway - good size for couples.

We were there for a quiet autumn getaway and really enjoyed the place. We're runners and the Mesabi trail was just a couple hundred yards from the townhome and was nice in both directions. Lots of great hiking trails in the Giants Ridge area too. They're constructing a lot of mountain bike trails on the ski hill as well and while we didn't partake they looked pretty cool. Kitchen was well-appointed and worked well for making most of our meals. We did get takeout pizza from Vi's in Biwabik. Recommended. Internet went down one morning and caretaker was very responsive. Lake view was great. It's in a townhome development connected to Giants Ridge so not isolated but it was quiet and easy to distance from others during COVID time. They've done a good job trying to keep the place clean and safe during this challenging time. We're hoping to return and would definitely look for openings in this or one of the other properties they own.

Great Northern Getaway

The Giants Ridge area is a perfect Northern getaway that keeps you busy for your entire stay. The condo worked out perfectly for us being right on the water, in the community with easy access to the golf courses, bike trails, lake, and much more.

Lovely and Fun

We had a great stay! The lake is beautiful and right outside your door, and the unit is perfect for relaxing and being cozy, watching a movie or making a snack. We kayaked on the lake, and the property is also within easy driving distance of many fund sites, including the North American Bear Center. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect stay

We loved staying at the Villa. The place was very clean, had everything we needed, and great location. My son loved the beach and spent hours in the platform and blue mat in the water. There was SUPs, peddle boats, kayaks, and Canoes to take out. We kayaked around the lake also. Highly recommend this place.

Great location and villa

The villa location was great. Check in/check out was very easy and our host was quick to respond with any questions. Our family of four fit perfectly and was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

Nicely finished and appointed unit. You can canoe, paddleboard on a small but beautiful lake. World class golf and skiing across the street. We'll be back.

Comfortable, well-kept, cozy lake villa with excellent location near Giants Ridge

Third time staying in a Green Gate Guest property and love this beautiful Giants Ridge location. Such a treat to sit on the lakeside deck on sunny September afternoons. Our great host Shawn C. was accommodating and very responsive as usual!

Great place for family time

This was a great property and the perfect place for family time. The property was clean, well stocked and well maintained. The beach, lake and fire pit were steps from the back door. Tennis court, basketball hoop, pool and hot tub were right outside the front door. I look forward to trying out one of the other Green Gate properties on my next trip up north.

Terrific Place To Stay!

So nice to get away to a place that literally has it all! We could've easily stayed in the condo and chilled out all weekend; but having access to the slopes and trails at Giant's Ridge drew us out as well. Coming back to the jacuzzi after a day of skiing made our stay all that much more enjoyable. A person can't go wrong with a vacation at ANY of the GreenGate Guesthouse properties!

Great Staycation!

We were looking for a place that would be central to a lot of adventurous activity, but also be a relaxing place to unwind, and we found it here. We were able to jump on the bike trail and enjoy the sights then get back to the villa, suit up and walk out the back door to relax on the beach. The villa itself was clean and comfortable and quiet. It was so nice to wake up, brew a cup of coffee and walk out to the dock to watch the sunrise. It's definitely at the top of our list to visit again!

Location, location, location! Highly recommended rental!

I swooped up this great deal as soon as I saw it... Super affordable for me and my partner for a weekend ski getaway! As per my title, the location was outstanding. I walked in my ski boots across the road, clipped in, and got my ski on! The villa was cozy, comfortable and inviting. Loved the view of the snow covered lake and I know I want to return when the ice melts to experience the lake! The kitchen had more than I expected and I decided to cook in there one night just b/c of that reason instead of eating out. The Jacuzzi tub was great after a day on the Nordic trails. Shawn was easy to work with as I recall from booking at Green Gate once in the past.
