Els Casals, mountain farm in the Serra de Tramuntana with spectacular views of the Puig Tomir, whose houses date from the first half of the eighteenth century. The idyllic landscape provides an ideal relaxation and tranquility for nature lovers, where they have walks among lush forests, enjoying the Mallorcan native fauna.
The house decorated and furnished with typical Mallorcan rustic style, has two floors, is well equipped with all the attractions for a wonderful holiday. Surrounded by a natural setting of incomparable beauty between crops olive trees, carob and pine trees. The picturesque landscape provides an ideal place for rest and practice of outdoor air.

A very special place in a mountain setting

We loved being “away from it all” in this gorgeous, historic property. Needed the car to go anywhere as it’s a bit off the beaten track. Fabulous pool, and outdoor dining area and views. Amazing walks and nature. Javier a great host, very helpful and lives in nearby Pollenca.

Perfect villa, perfect location

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday, the villa had everything we needed, it was remote and secluded with stunning views and still only a 10 minute drive to the local supermarkets and Pollenca town. The kitchen was well equipped we self catered most of the holiday. A couple of the matresses were a little uncomfortable in the twin room but we didnt use these, the other single beds were really comfortable and the master bed was one of the most comfortable we have experienced when staying away. We were visted by the donkeys, and the goats with their bells bounding up the road in the evening was a joy to watch. We would love to return. Thank you Javier for such a beautiful house and location.

Remote and beautiful surrounding

Relaxing and joyfull! We loved to sit on the terrace and the atmospere in the old house from 1844 was charming and cool. The pool was small but chill. Every morning we heard the sheeps and goats and that was so lovely. Thanks for the wonderful holiday.

Stunning villa

We had a really lovely week at Els Casals. The villa is gorgeous, full of character, in the most beautiful setting overlooking a valley and mountains. We enjoyed the pool which had some nice shade from an olive tree. The sheep were lovely to hear baa-ing with their clangy bells. So sweet. We loved the town of Pollenca, the port and the beach at Formentor. Xavier was a good host, very welcoming and helpful. We heartily recommend staying here.

Great stay in Rustic Farmhouse

Had a lovely stay. Javier was so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. The house is beautiful and rustic as advertised - if you have small children make sure to take insect repellent for them as well as you as the property is rural therefore of course there are mosquitoes and other bugs and you’ll need it morning and evening espeically. This is true of the whole island of course. You’ll also need to take care outside as there’s no pool cover or gate to block the pool from the rest of the garden and there are “escape” points and drops. Also inside the property there are lots of stairs and steps between rooms. My little one loved it though especially watching the goats and seeing the stars!

Fantastic house with stunning views.

We stayed here in early May for 1 week. The house is located on a hill in the mountains of Mallorca. You can reach the house via a small lane with cypress and olive trees. It is a very quiet place , there are no direct neighboors and you will hear no traffic, the only noice comes from a local goat with a bell round his neck. In the garden there are lovely smelling flowers from blooming trees and there are also lemon trees. Because the house is located in the mountains and in early spring it can be chilly in the evening. also the water of the swimming pool can be a little cold. However the views from the garden to the surrounding mountains are fantastic. The house is located nearby Polenca and also the beaches are easy to reach. The house is very central located to visit the main attractions of Mallorca. We loved this place very much

Breathtaking views!

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible space. The location is perfect, placed high up on a hill overlooking a valley with farms and other residences. Waking in the early morning to the sounds of the clinking cow bells (I think they were in goats, however) and watching the sun rise, casting its glow over the mountains on the other side of the valley will be missed! We reside in Boulder, Colorado, and are no stranger to gorgeous views, but this was breathtaking. The home is a very large, old structure, that allowed my imagination to roam about, to a time that seemed simpler, and perhaps less complicated. The entire family fell in love with the house and it’s grounds right away. Everything that we needed was present, and when the house needed a minor repair, the manager attended to it promptly, and was very quick with communication. I recommend this beautiful space to any hopeless romantic wanting to experience a more authentic view of the local life in Majorca!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in „Els Casals“ sehr genossen. Die Ruhe und den tollen Blick ins Tramuntana Gebirge, ein Traum! Xaver ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber, immer erreichbar und immer zur Stelle, wenn man ihn brauchte. Der Pool war immer sauber und schön für eine Abkühlung. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit Geschirr, Gläsern, Töpfen und Besteck. Alle Geräte funktionieren einwandfrei. Wir haben alle sehr gut in unseren Betten geschlafen.In den 14 Tagen konnten wir uns, Gott sei Dank, immer draußen aufhalten bis auf einen Abend. Da mussten wir leider feststellen, dass die Sofas durchgesessen sind und die Stühle im unteren Esszimmer sehr unbequem sind. Das war für uns das einzige Manko.Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sechs-tätiger Aufenthalt im Oktober

Wir haben unseren sechs-tägigen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit Javier lief hervorragend. Bei Fragen war er immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig etwas abseits der Straße und bietet ein wunderschönes Bergpanorama. Highlights waren der Pool und die Terrasse. Die Unterkunft war insgesamt sehr sauber. Einziger Wermutstropfen waren Tausendfüßler und Ameisen im Haus, wobei man das bei einem ehemaligen Bauernhof vielleicht erwarten muss. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir hoffen, dass wir wiederkommen.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir haben einen traumhaften Urlaub in Javier‘s wunderschöner, traditioneller Finca (das Wohngebäude ist fast 200 Jahre alt) verbracht. Mit unseren drei Kindern (13.16,19) haben wir natürlich insbesondere das Vorhandensein von 4 Schlafzimmern, jeweils mit eigenem Bad geschätzt. Die Finca ist im mallorquinischen Stil eingerichtet, was wir sehr authentisch fanden. Der Garten ist ein Traum mit Schattenplätzen, vielen Blüten und vollbehangenen Zitronenbäumen (sehr lecker). Sowohl aus dem Haus, vom Frühstückstisch auf dem Freisitz oder vom schönen Pool aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Tramuntana-Gebirge (dabei ist insbesondere der Sternenhimmel über den Bergen von der Liege am Pool im Dunkeln ein besonderer Genuss). Supermärkte (Empfehlung: der lokale Eroski, insbesondere, wenn man Fisch mag!) sind 6-7 min dem Auto entfernt, das Haus liegt sehr ruhig abseits und oberhalb der recht wenig befahrenen Straße. Schöne Strände sind ebenfalls in ca. 20-35 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Damit sei aber auch darauf hingewiesen: ein Auto ist aus unserer Sicht bei diesem Haus zwingend erforderlich. Javier ist sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit für Fragen (z.B. per WhatsApp) verfügbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vue époustouflante calme absolu

Mitten in der Natur

Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage . Man fühlt sich wie mitten in den Bergen und ist aber nur einige Minuten mit dem Auto vom Ort entfernt. Eine Woche war viel zu kurz , durch die schöne Landschaft inspiriert wurde aus unserer Woche Badeurlaub eine Wanderwoche . Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Aufenthalt in der Els Casals im Juli 23

Wir waren 8 Nachre zu sechst in der Els Casals. Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich schön. Die Natur, die Stille und die wunderschöne Aussicht hat uns verzaubert. Wir haben uns sehr gut entspannt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus ist ländlich und hat Charme. Was ich aber sagen möchte, wir hätten uns gewunscht, dass es sauberer wäre. Die Handtucher, Decken, Bettwasche sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. In dem Haus herrscht ein sehr intensiver Geruch wie in alter Kirche bzw einem Museum. Trorz allem hatten wir tolle Tage in der Unterkunft und unsere Familie hat es richtig genossen.

Wir haben vom 1. Tag an die Unterkunft und die herrliche Umgebung genossen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, dass wir sogar einen Kuchen herstellen konnten. Der Pool ist täglich genutzt worden. Sehr freundlich ist Favier, der Besitzer. Die Kinder sind knapp 3 und 1Jahr alt.

Maison authentique et vue magnifique

Belle maison authentique avec vue magnifique sur les montagnes et en pleine nature. Chambres et salle d'eau adjacente, un plus pour une grande famille (nous étions 7). Barbecue un peu vieillot. Une plancha sera un plus. En cette période sèche, pas de petit cours d'eau ou cascade (comme sur les photos). A 10 minutes du port de Pollensa, 25 minutes de Formentor et 20 minutes d'Alcudia en voiture. Le début du chemin est assez accidenté et devient correct dès le début de la propriété.

Très agréable, calme absolu cadre authentique

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison, nous tuons 2 familles de 4 et l'accueil de Javier. Terrasse avec vue époustouflante, Piscine très bien, climatisation dans chaque chambre. La maison est rustique mais ce qui fait le charme. Bien située pour découvrir la région de Pollença. Points d'attention, beaucoup de marches entre chaque pièce, terrasses. Barbecue un peu trop Rustique, une plancha serait un plus. En gros si vous chercher calme et authenticité foncez.

Wundervoller Ort zum Entspannen

Unser Urlaub war wunderbar! Der Kontakt zu Javier war super!!! Man ist in einer Idylle aus Bergen und hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Die Finca bietet mehr als genügend Platz und ist sehr authentisch ausgestattet. Ursprünglicher kann man sich eine Finca kaum vorstellen. Der Service vor Ort, wie eine wöchentliche Reinigung, ist ungewöhnlich gut! Ob der sehr einzigartigen Lage sind Lebensmittelläden und weitere wichtige für den alltäglichen Bedarf schnell erreichbar. Wir werden das läuten der Ziegen Glocken und die zirpenden Grillen vermissen! Danke Javier
