Top Villa outside Alghero

It is a wonderful property with an outstanding garden an a very big pool. Absolutely clean and beautiful. Well deserved five stars. Also the owners are very, very lovely people. In the beginning we had little problems with the air conditioning, but Mrs. Mercedes Lopez from ClickSardegna was an awesome help. Top service! 100% recommendation! Thank you! We had a great vacation!

Fabulous Villa with great pool

This is a great villa with amazing grounds. It's set in a rural location, but only about 15 minutes from the airport and Alghero town, with its Marina, shops and Centro Storico. One of the outstanding features of the villa is the pool. It's much bigger than those of other such properties we've stayed at, with a small diving board at the deep end, and coloured pool lights, which really impressed the kids. The highlights of our stay were a day trip on the Andrea Jensen sailing barge and a tasting menu at the Sa Mandra' Agriturismo restaurant a few miles away. Everyone involved here worked hard to make sure that our holiday went smoothly, including staying up very late on our first night to meet us after our flight was delayed and getting in a supply of groceries for the following day's breakfast. Congratulations to Donna Maria Mercedes and the owner, Claudio. Very highly recommended by all the guests.

It had been a long time since I met guests like Mr. Kenneth and his wonderful family. People who are enthusiastic about life, guided and cared for by an extraordinary grandfather, a true guide and inspiration for all, in the long and difficult path of life. Mr. Kenneth with the holiday at Villa Claire de Lune has achieved a wonderful thing, giving and bringing all his family to a wonderful villa, from children to grandchildren. Mr. Kenneth gave the most precious thing that could be true, he gave time and emotions to all the members of his family, and also to me. We will miss you forever, but the memory you left will stay with us for a very long time. Claudio and Carla greet you, me and also the cat, who after your visit is called 'Fosco'. Lovely villa for large family. Everything we needed for our first visit to Sardinia

We and our friends loved it!! The pictures didn't do it justice. It's clear Maria understands what guests want. This home is clean, convenient to everything, and suited us well (10 adults). Maria was a terrific host, she was quick to respond to my questions, had great recommendations for our visit, and made it easy for us to check-in/out. Nice kitchen. We loved having access to the pool just in front of the house. We could have stayed longer. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house and have large spacious bathrooms en suite. Very short distance from local restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Adorable and relaxing outdoor private deck. No clue if any of the TVs worked but internet was fast. Check in was easy, the guest instructions/expectations were clearly stated. There's a huge pool and SPA in the villa that's easy to get to. We really hope to go back.

The garden and pool are great and our kids loved it. However:--when we made the reservation we asked if we could extent our stay with one night. This was ok, so we booked our flight tickets. Later on we received a message it was not possible after all (only if we payed 1.200 euro instead of 900 euro for the last night to compensate for the broken week). So we had to stay in a hotel for our last night. -The advertisement states that there is a ping-pong table which our kids love. They were disappointed to find out there is no pingpong tabel. -Also the hot tub which is mentioned in the advertisement is not there-In one of the sleeping rooms the airco was broken, so two of our adult kids had to sleep in one bed. -On Tuesday the neighbour started to play music right next to fence where the only shade spot at the pool is. This went on for the rest of the week. As we understood from the agent/owner they could not do anything about it because it is legally allowed to play music on your property.

Unfortunately, when it came time to confirm, that date had already been requested by another guest. The proposed rate was not intended as a penalty, but as standard pricing for a single high-season night during a broken week, which always comes at a higher cost due to calendar constraints and operational impact. Ping-pong table & hot tub: We take this point seriously. These items were mistakenly mentioned due to a prior listing version. We have since updated the property description to ensure full transparency. Please note that the amenities offered match the vast majority of guest expectations and are regularly reviewed. Air conditioning issue: We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. While we strive to address any technical problem promptly, some issues (especially during peak season) require external technician intervention. We appreciate your flexibility and hope this did not impact your stay too severely. Neighbour’s music: The villa is located in a residential area. and we cannot legally prevent private property owners from listening to music. We are very sorry for this.

Garten ein Traum

Fantastischer, sehr gepflegter großer Garten. Geschirr, Fenster und Möbel im Pavillon waren nicht ganz sauber. Mercedes war immer für uns da und löste jedes Problem sofort.

Très beau séjour dans la villa Chiara!

Cette maison est très bien agencée et spacieuse. Elle dispose de tous les,+ équipements nécessaires et est très agréable à vivre. Le point fort est sans aucun doute l'espace extérieur, notamment la piscine qui est gigantesque (16x7) et d'une profondeur idéale, tant à l'entrée que du côté du plongeoir (3m) La maison est située à env. 15 minutes d'Alghero en voiture, à 10 minutes de l'aéroport (aucune nuisance) et à 30 minutes des ferries au départ de Porto Torres. Les plages d'Alghero sont belles et adaptées aux familles. Il faut compter 45 minutes jusqu'à la magnifique plage de la Pelosa, mais elle vaut vraiment le détour ! (attention: réservation en ligne pour juillet et août), 1h30 pour atteindre Olbia, et 2h45 pour les excursions en bateau au départ de Baunei, sur la côte sauvage à l'est de l'île. Les hôtes sont d'une réactivité hors-pair et ont répondu à toutes nos demandes avec une grande gentillesse et rapidité. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison!

Great villa with gorgeous pool and garden

We had a great stay in this really well kept, spacious villa. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well kept (a gardener came a couple of times during our 2 week stay). They are much bigger than the photos. The villa is in the countryside, about a 10/15 minute drive from the airport. It is extremely quiet and private. The pool is the star of the show, large, deep with a fun diving board. We spent so much time in it. Around the pool there is also a shower and a place to cook/use the bathroom so you can pretty much live outside! The kids loved the fact there were chickens in the next field to visit and also a couple of friendly, outdoor cats! The house has everything you need and is comfortable. The wifi was pretty spotty so if that’s a big then then it might be worth bringing a hot spot. Didn’t really bother us though. We had a brilliant time staying here and would definitely coke back!

Superbe maison au milieu des oliviers

Nous avons passez une semaine formidable dans la Sardaigne. La maison se situe très proche d'Alghero et de la mer, en retrait de la ville au milieu des oliviers. La propriété est superbe, très calme, parfaitement aménagée, dotée d'une piscine très agréable. La région vaut le détour et les plages de Maria Pia sont magnifiques. Nous étions deux couples avec trois jeunes enfants qui ont particulièrement apprécié cette semaine. L'accueil d'Antonio a été formidable. Ils nous ont accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse, se montrant très disponible et très chaleureux. Ce fut un plaisir de faire leur connaissance. Si vous souhaitez passer un agréable moment en Sardaigne, je ne peux que vous recommander cette location. Vous vous y sentirez très bien, comme à la maison. Merci pour cet agréable séjour.
