Pitt Cottage is a thatched stone cottage situated just outside the village of Ringstead near to the town of Weymouth in Dorset and benefits from panoramic sea views. The cottage can sleep 6 people in 2 twin and 1 super-king with en-suite bath bedroom as well has a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen/diner and a sitting room with open fire. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for 4 cars and a lawned garden. Pitt Cottage is wonderful retreat to a quiet location for families close to sea. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome, dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture. Note: Garden not entirely enclosed. Note: The Wood to the North of the Cottage has a pheasant release pen which is protected by a low level electric fence. Please do not let dogs or children roam in the wood unsupervised. Note: Cottage Stairs (Steeper than normal). Note: Fuel for fire provided autumn/winter. Note: To access the property you will need to pass through a field which may have live cattle in. Note: This property can only accept Saturday changeover. In some circumstances it may be possible to arrange another day but only by prior agreement with Dream Cottages. Note: There is a supplement charge for bringing pets to the property. Note: The mobile signal at Pitt Cottage is variable depending on the service provider.

When you are ready to explore further afield, you will find Lulworth Cove and Durdle door a short 11 miles away and Weymouth with it’s beautiful beach and plentiful restaurants and cafes 7 miles to the west. The Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World Rescue, and Tyneham Village all offer varied and interesting days out just a short drive from Ringstead, presuming you can tear yourselves away from the unspoilt beach.
