Ann's Chalet at Estes ParkĀ  is surrounded by awe-inspiring views of Maryā€™s Lake and the majestic mountains nestled into an established quiet neighborhood. Rocky Mountain National Park is only five minutes away, making Ann's Chalet a fantastic home base for hikers, mountain bikers, climbers, and outdoor enthusiasts.



The home consisted of a primary bedroom and luxurious ensuite on the main level. Ā The lower level has two additional rooms. Ā One of those rooms has an ensuite bathroom as well. Ā The lower level family room has a pull out queen sofa sleeper.

Christmas at Annā€™s Chalet

We were looking for a place to gather to celebrate Christmas together and Annā€™s Chalet did not disappoint! Darren and family had decorated the entire home tastefully for Christmas which made it so cozy and perfect for relaxing. Everything you can possibly need for cooking and celebrating. Plus super convenient to town and hiking. Great host and great place

5 Star experience

Our experience was top notch and we wouldnā€™t have traded it for anything. The house was absolutely beautiful, the scenery was awesome and it was a short drive to town. We couldnā€™t have planned our vacation any better and weā€™re actually talking about staying at Annā€™s Chalet again in the near future. It was a 5 star experience!

Fourth of July stay

The house was fantastic. The kitchen was great. Anything and everything you would need. Enough place settings and silverware for everyone. Nice touch to have power strips on the nightstand. Everyone has so many electronics to plug in.

The Best

Annā€™s Chalet is wonderful. The views are spectacular. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans dinnerware, spices, and cleaners. There is even a crock pot with a secure lid ā€” perfect for traveling to friends with a soup or stew. The TVs offer streaming services. The furnishings are of high quality and tastefully chosen. There are 3 bedrooms and full baths plus a bonus half bath on the top floor. The master bath is as large as a small apartment with a double shower and soaking tub. Finally, if you are going to Rocky Mountain National Park, access is just a short drive away. Our whole family loved Annā€™s Chalet.

Family Vacation

This property is absolutely wonderful with a stunning view of Lake Mary. It was within 5-10 minutes of downtown or the entrance to RMNP. This house had everything we needed during our stay, plus more. Stand mixer, dutch over, mixing bowls, cutting boards, spices, and pretty much every utensil you could need. You are definitely covered at this property. If you plan to stay here just take note of the temperatures in the house. The master bedroom is upstairs and the guest bedrooms are downstairs. It gets really cold at night downstairs if you're running the a/c to cool the upstairs. But, there were plenty of throw blankets to keep everyone warm. Would highly recommend this property.

Amazing home!!!

This house was absolutely incredible and even better in person! The inside was gorgeous. I was amazed by how clean and organized the home was. They literally thought of everything you could want or need. The views from the back porch of the mountains and lake were breathtaking. It was one of the prettiest views I saw while in Estes. It was the perfect stay for our vacation. We had 3 adults and 3 kids, and everyone loved it and slept great. They even had a pack in play for our baby. It made it very convient for me. The kids loved how they had their own living room downstairs. Darren was an awesome host and always responded quickly before and during our stay. I would highly recommend Ann's Chalet, and have already told many friends and family about this house. I would love to stay here again!

Spring Gathering In The Mountains

Ann's Chalet was perfect for our family. It provided gorgeous views of the mountains and Mary's Lake. The home is beautifully decorated and offered all the comforts of home. The kitchen, bath and bedrooms were fully stocked with everything we could have needed. The location provides quick easy access to Estes Park attractions. We were very fortunate to see wildlife up close. Elk were frequent in the nearby meadow offering a glimpse of their natural environment. Ann's Chalet will be our first choice for any future travels to the area. We would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Estes Park.

Rocky Mountain Luxury

Canā€™t tell you what a FABULOUS time my family had. We simply loved the house - it is decorated beautifully and is comfortable at the same time. Gorgeous view and would recommend getting up early for the sunrise. Enjoyed seeing Elk in the field. Easy access to the park and town - only about 15 minutes. Extremely responsive on any communication and gave us clear directions as to the Timed Entry process for the park. Would love to come back and visit again!

Perfectly Perfect!

We have considered ourselves so fortunate in renting VRBO homes. We more often than not have had the good fortune to rent good homes that provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay. This home was above and beyond! The views were amazing. The deck was a perfect place for us to gather and enjoy the family and the views which this time of year included elk. The interior is warm and you can feel the comfort and love of family throughout. From the wonderful story of itā€™s name to the beautiful decorating. It truly made leaving for all our scheduled events difficult. Details unlike any experienced were not neglectedā€¦down to the ā€œmake upā€ towels. Nice touches throughout. Last but certainly not least and should be the first actually is Darren. He was so welcoming and so kind. We made our reservations I think a year before and therefore had much communication with him and he never made me feel as if I were disturbing or annoying him. He responded to questions quickly and often offered even more information that he felt would be helpful. I would love to return to ā€œAnnā€™s Chaletā€ and enjoy this beautiful home again.

Perfect Stay in Estes Park

This is an impeccable property where every detail for your stay is beautifully provided. The kitchen meets the needs of every chef; the living spaces are comfortable and tasteful; the bathrooms are current and luxe; and the bedrooms are restful and inviting. If I could give a sixth star I would! To top it all off, the communication with our host Darren was thorough, prompt and so friendly. Aside from the great home, the access to RMNP is so easy and beautiful Lily Lake is just a quick hop up the road. If you want the perfect stay in beautiful Estes Park, this is the place you want to reserve!

Can't I Give More Than 5 Stars?

This property is better than "A Home Away From Home". Perfect place to stay for a family of 8 in Estes Park. From the fresh cut flowers as a greeting to the suggestions by the owner, we had a perfect week wrapped up by our 5K & Half Marathon Vacation Races. The best vacation rental weā€™ve ever stayed in!

This vacation home is extraordinary in every way. Darren has thought of every little thing to make your stay feel comfortable, luxurious, and relaxing. He even accommodated us for an extra night when we needed it! Itā€™s minutes from the national park but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Estes Park. It was the perfect place for our family of four to come home to after a day of playing in the park. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space where we sat and were greeted with hummingbirds every day. Itā€™s a dreamā€”just book it!

We loved that the house seemed close to the Beaver Meadows entrance of RMNP. We went for a wedding, but also explored parts of Estes Park and RMNP. Loved how the house provided all your essential needs. It was easy to communicate with the owner. The view was just the best!

Above and Beyond

My husband and I and our 2 teenage sons recently spent an amazing week at Ann's Chalet. After an 18 hour drive we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and fresh banana bread for breakfast. The house is immaculately kept and smelled like Christmas and joy. We immediately felt like home. This house has everything you could possibly need, I mean everything!!! I went grocery shopping and loved cooking in their kitchen. They left a variety of spices that made it easy to make tasty meals for the week. The beds are comfy and the heated floors were an unexpected luxury. I truly can't say enough about the level of care they took to make sure that our stay was truly a vacation. This house is even better than the pictures. You are surrounded with gorgeous views of the lake and mountains. We spotted Elk on the first day and enjoyed watched the hummingbirds on the deck. Everything is organized and easy to find and Darren communicated with us throughout our trip. There are just so many little touches that made this one of our most memorable family vacations and it is just a very short drive to Rocky Mountain National park, where we spent most of our days. I wish we could have stayed an extra week or 2!!!!

Wedding stay

This property far exceeded our expectations! Stayed for 7 days for our daughters wedding at Wild Basin Lodge, also an awesome experience. I would highly recommend this place to stay, you will not be disappointed. The view from the rear deck is unbelievable. The place is spotless and has everything you could ever need. Will stay here again I'm sure.

RMNP Family Trip

This was the best VRBO experience I have had where the pictures and reality matched in every way! The property is immaculate and so comfortable. All of our guests commented on the comfortableness of the beds. The kitchen and bathrooms are excellently stocked and the location is very beautiful and peaceful. We saw deer, elf and wild turkeys from the property. It was a perfect home for our trip!

Wonderful stay

This house is the best stocked house we have ever stayed in. From spices to pans to laundry soapā€¦they have really thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The house was so clean, beds were comfortableā€¦and that view canā€™t be beat! Communication was excellent. I canā€™t recommend this house highly enough. The layout made the trip with our two families perfect. Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs and the master upstairs. We will be back!

My sisters and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at Annā€™s Chalet. From the streamlined, easy check-in to the fully-stocked kitchen and beyond comfortable beds, this was the most amazing VRBO experience have ever had. We loved the bouquet of flowers that greeted us and the gorgeous views from the back deck. Deer and elk would walk by the property daily too. It was the most serene location in Estes, and still just a short drive to downtown. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home in the Rockies!

Ann's Chalet was the perfect vacation home away from home for our group of seven, which included two little ones. Darren was great at communicating before and during our visit. His home is lovely and very comfortable and had space for everyone to spread out. It also has beautiful views and we always enjoyed eating meals and drinking our morning coffee out on the deck whenever we could. This house is also the most well-stocked rental I have stayed in and has ample supplies for your stay, including a kitchen with everything you need to make amazing meals. The house was lit and ready for us upon arrival and the bouquet of flowers was a lovely touch. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we plan to return to Ann's Chalet for future visits to Estes and RMNP!

Growing up, both of our families enjoyed many vacations to the Rocky Mountains. As a couple, our first vacation was to Estes Park, and we have been back many times with our sons making wonderful memories. When we had the opportunity to purchase a vacation home it was only natural that we considered Estes Park as our home away from home.

After searching with our real estate agent looking at the various properties we began to wonder if we would find the "right" house that had everything we were looking for. The moment we walked through the front door we knew that this was the perfect house for us. It felt like home.

Our home is uniquely situated in Estes Park. It is 5 minutes to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. You can also reach down town Estes Park in about 5 minutes. We are located by Mary's Lake and have breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
