Listen to some tunes on the stereo as you unpack and get situated, and check snow levels and area attractions with the complimentary WiFi. Then settle back on the comfy leather furniture and warm up by the fire in the winter months as you watch a movie on the flatscreen cable TV, complete with a DVD/VCR player.

In the summer, hang out on the balcony, accessible through sliding glass doors and view lush, green surroundings. Gather around the solid wood table in the dining area, accompanied by attractive leather chairs, for socializing and group dinners you prepare in the fully equipped, galley-style kitchen. Located in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Truckee, just under one mile from Northstar California Resort and less than eight miles from historic downtown, you'll be in a prime location to ski or hike to your heart's content and just as easily head to town to stock up on groceries. Northstar offers world-class skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and an ice skating rink in the winter. During the summer, there's a world-class 18-hole golf course with a driving range, mountain biking, and hiking.

Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
