A beautiful property in a tranquil environment, the attention to detail from the host is impressive with many personal touches including fruit platter, chocolates, drinks, milk provided upon arrival. Shane has thought of everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

The unit was exactly as described online with the convenience of being close to everything that we were wanting to experience. Shane was great to deal with her excellent communication skills and providing all relevant information.

Don't bother with Byron Bay, Pottsville it is!

If you'd like to enjoy Byron Bay but escape the InstaInfluencing crowd that comes as a package, then Pottsville is where you need to stay. Shane was an absolute pleasure to deal with and we thoroughly enjoyed the location. Highly recommend and would visit again!

Great retreat in Pottsville

Beautiful self-contained apartment, connected to the main house. Shane was fantastic, provided lovely fruit and chocolates and was very helpful.

Wonderful break

Special pocket of Pararadise

Everything was there for us. From a clean pool, to luxury coffee machine and airconditioning in the bedroom. We can only thank Shane for a wonderful 5 days, home away from home.

Peaceful Pottsville

A super easy stay. Shane’s place is tastefully furnished, well equipped with a super comfortable bed and a lovely cooling private pool outside your door nothing more to ask for. Proximity to restaurants, shops & the beaches only minutes away. Communication with our host immediate & helpful. We all certainly return.

Shane is a gracious host. Our stay was easeful and enjoyable. We were greeted on arrival and Shane attended to any and every enquiry in a timely manner. Shane's accommodation is luxurious, clean and comfortable with everything one may require for a restful stay with all kitchen appliances, including a coffee machine. Thank you Shane. We will stay again.

2025 R&M

Pottsville was a great location to use as a hub to take in a day at the Byron Bay Bluesfest, check out some of the lovely beaches along the coastline, and to rent bikes to do the Mooball to Murwillumbah portion of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Accommodations were a great fit for my wife and I, a smaller place, but everything we needed was there. The yard is very well kept and it was a pleasure to sit and have our breakfast and coffee outside each morning. Our host was pleasant and very helpful.

A beautiful home in a great location

Loved our stay at Pottsville Luxury Villa. On arrival we were welcomed by Jaki. Pottville is a beautiful house and in a location away from the bussle of Byron, but still close enough to enjoy all the beauty of this wonderful shire. Everything was as expected & more! Spacious, beautifully decorated and all the facilities like home (but near the waterside). The outdoor lounge was such a delightful area to sit, to bask in the sun and read a good book. We look forward to visiting again.

Stayed at Shane’s property while visiting my son. The location was amazing, the house was very very clean and Shane was very communicative and responsive. Personally I would have preferred having a kitchen more than induction, but that’s just me. Other than that more than expected. Tnx Shane and see you next time.

Short stay

Inside the furnishings were lovely. Bed very comfortable but if you like a firm pillow best to take your own, these were very flat. There were a couple of very basic items not provided. We could not find a pen or piece of paper anywhere, nor was there a basic first aid kit. We were bitten by midges from sitting outside at dusk and would have welcomed some antiseptic wipes or similar. I did find the photo of the ‘exclusive’ pool area misleading. Photos were taken from inside the owners property and show the area you are allowed to use but it looks much more appealing in the photos. The bbq we had for ‘exclusive’ use was a tiny, rusty one in the greased area outside this unit. There was no outdoor table available for eating outside if you did use the bbq. Only a side table or a table inside in the sitting room. When we arrived the toilet seat was very loose and it eventually came off completely. We used it like this until it was fixed but those things are basic maintenance surely. Good area, nice furnishings but wouldn’t rate it much higher.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. We appreciate your positive comments about the interior furnishings and the bed's comfort. In regard to your other observations, we'd like to provide some context. The pillows are intentionally of a softer variety, but we understand that pillow preferences can vary greatly among guests. To accommodate our guests pillow preferences, we stock another 4 pillow options in the linen closet, which we would have pointed out to you if you had let us know. Regarding the absence of a pen, paper, or a basic first aid kit, we’ll take this onboard for our future guests. As for the pool area, we believe that the description clearly outlines the guest area which includes a 50 m2 courtyard, a small patio and a private swimming pool. Our description is not meant to be misleading as the area provided to our guests is quite generous. Given that the apartment accommodates no more than 2 adults and 1 small child, the barbecue is more than adequate. We will take the feedback about the outdoor dining options into consideration for improvements and a new toilet seat was purchased within 2 hours of hearing of the issue. We hope you had a pleasant time in the area.

Comfortable one bedroom apartment, well located.

We enjoyed our stay in Pottsville in an apartment that had lovely garden area where we shared our afternoon wines. It was a very relaxing place and well located.
