Palm Cove's family paradise

This fantastic 3 bedroom luxury apartment has been extensively renovated. Everything has been replaced with quality and comfortable furniture, kitchen and bathroom joinery, appliances, fixtures and fittings.

The apartment is fully self-contained and is situated on the Ground Floor within the Coral Coast Resort at Palm Cove - just metres away from the beautiful swimming pool, tropical gardens and barbeque facilities.

Complete with all of the necessities of home, this fully air conditioned apartment includes a spacious lounge/dining room with TV, DVD/Video player, Foxtel, two double bedrooms (main with QS bed, ensuite and TV, second with double bed) and a third bedroom which is fitted out with two bunk beds for the kids.

The kitchen is fully equipped and the apartment is supplied with beach and bathroom towels, sheets, pillows, blankets etc.

Fabulous facilities available to our guests

Just outside the door of the apartment is the fully fenced swimming pool which is available exclusively to this particular block of apartments - Spindle Cowrie.

Guests are able to the use the following facilities at the Oceans Edge Health Club (at their advertised fees):

- Air-conditioned and fully equipped gymnasium, sports centre.
- 25 metre lap pool
- Sauna.

Situated about 25 km north of Cairns, Palm Cove is the perfect spot for a quiet relaxing family holiday - and, for those who wish to do a bit of sight seeing as well as a bit of relaxing - it is only a short distance from tourist attractions such as the Great Barrier Reef and World Heritage rainforest.

Fabulous stay

We thoroughly loved our stay at your wonderful apartment. It had everything we needed including cooking equipment which is essential with four children. The beds were comfortable, the lounge was a great size for all of us and the pool was a hit. Thank you so much.

Pool and Animals!

We enjoyed staying in David and Leonie's space. The apartment suited our family needs and access to the pool was brilliantly positioned, close but not near thoroughfare. The children loved the bird life and daily wallaby visits. The apartment is a short stroll to the esplanade and a great base to travel into Cairns for boat trips etc. We appreciated the fact that a travel cot and highchair were available and David’s communication was brilliant.

Tranquil location

Thank you for a peaceful, clean, equipped and welcoming stay. We were met with Wallabies most mornings, which our kids absolutely loved. The space was amazing, we actually weren’t on top of each other. We find it hard to find accommodation for our family of 8 so this was just wonderful. We will be back!

Son's Wedding

We stayed 5 nights for my Son's wedding. The house was spacious, comfortable and was perfect for 6 adults. It was a perfect house for catching up with family instead of meeting at a cafe. So much more relaxing. So in a nutshell, it was a relaxing, enjoyable stay and wanted to stay longer. Thank you.

Fantastic stay for large groups in Palm Cove

We had a fantastic stay here for 5 nights in June 2023. We were two families combined and the double bunk beds and two bathrooms meant everyone fitted and was comfortable! The unit has everything we could think of in the kitchen. Although we did shop online in advance and had delivered to the unit on our first day, I wish I had waited to see what was already there as there was a lot of basics (and more than basics!) provided. The handful of beach and pool toys were appreciated by our group with children too. There wasn’t much in the way of other toys, but we spent most of the day outside anyway. The location on the ground floor would be excellent for those with children or older group members. Although not private the garden and grass outside the patio was also a fabulous space. Especially with visiting wallabies each day and the occasional monitor lizard. It’s very short walk in front of another unit to access the pool gate. Despite it being winter the pool was not freezing and was enjoyed most days. We’re walked everyday to the beach. On the map the road route looks long but the walk is faster. You can go around the pool and cut through onto the road. There is no pavement for the first 20 metres or so but after that it is a pleasant walk on the pavement along a quiet road. The boardwalk walk detour is an added bonus. Once at the main road, we crossed over and used the pedestrian access along the back of Peppers to come out right in front of the playground.

Coral Coast Resort

Spacious apartment equipped with just about everything you could need. Nice pool and the native visitors to the garden were lovely. Easy keyless access. 10/15 mins walk to local bus stop which runs regularly and until late. 15/20 mins walk to esplanade. The complex seems to be occupied mostly by retirees who like their peace and quiet…..nothing wrong with that, I do too! But travelling with young children can be challenging and noisy and we were made to feel uncomfortable at times. One comment was, ‘we only get noisy children once or twice a year’ so I wouldn’t take little ones there again. Overall, was good value for money. Thank you 😊

Palm Cove peace

Nice family apartment in a lovely and convenient complex with pools and a 5 minute walk to Palm Cove Village. However poor communication from the owner despite stating in the accomodation details it was his number to be contacted: - Wrong door code on our first night. If we hadn’t worked out the previous code we would have had to find other accomodation as the issue was not resolved until the next day. - Also wanted to “unlock” the bbq and requested instructions - no response. Ended up using the complex bbqs which were fine. Other than that Palm Cove and the coast as always, was wonderful!

Perfect Palm Cove Getaway

Ideal for families with all mod cons, plenty of room and 3 bedrooms, this property has the added bonus of a ground floor garden area containing some very friendly wallabies! We loved our stay.

Great Tropical Paradise

Beautiful setting for a long weekend getaway with family. Lots of fun in the pool with grandkids. Spotted a few inquisitive wallabies and curlews showing that wildlife is comfortable in the precinct. A great tropical paradise surrounding very comfortable well presented apartment.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at this apartment. With family here from the UK the kids loved the pool and were delighted with the wildlife in the complex. Very convenient to walk to the main strip and well equipped. Would highly recommend.

A good option, reasonably priced.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was not as fancy or luxurious as where our friends were staying in the Oceans Edge estate, but it was a lot cheaper, spacious, had good quality fittings and furnishings, 2 bathrooms, aircond in every room, was clean and tidy, the (large) pool was right outside the back door, the beds were comfortable, there were big screen tv's and even Foxtel movie channels. Even had a family of wallabies literally on your doorstep, and mysterious exotic wildlife making strange noises in the middle of the night for a little rainforest charm. Although the complex is quite large, it was quiet and we barely saw anyone during the day or night. I booked here mainly as the apartment was described as "within the grounds of the Hotel Grand Chancellor" but found the apartment is actually in the grounds of the Coral Coast Resort, about 5 minutes walk further along the road. Even though we were without a car (catching buses to tour around actually worked out well), it was not a problem for us and we enjoyed the extra walking distance into town as exercise. It was a 10 minute walk to the back of Peppers where you could cut through to hit the main part of town and good coffee, mango and banana smoothies and breakfasts at Espresso and co. My son and his girlfriend made use of the Health club gold card and said it was good and they were friendly there, but we did not use at anything at the Grand Chancellor itself as we had everything we needed. Overall I would consider staying here again if coming to Palm Cove with family or another couple, and looking for good quality, reasonably priced accommodation.

Perfect family getaway

Perfect location a short walk to Palm Cove beach, restaurants and cafes. We used to live in Cairns and Palm Cove is always our go to place to stay - this time we chose an apartment to share with family including kids - we were not disappointed - the apartment was well equipped and spacious to fit us all comfortably. It was a plus for us being ground floor as my mother struggles with stairs with her arthritis. Very child friendly complex - there are two pools including a children’s pool around the other side but we found the main pool good as there is a very wide step ledge creating a shallow spot to supervise our five year old. The family of wallabies outside in our little backyard area was a sweet surprise. Would definitely recommend to any families looking for a comfy place to stay.

Lovely tropical feel. Perfectly sized apartment, well suited for large families.

Very modern look and feel to the apartment, extremely well equipped with all the added bits and pieces you could ask for. The complex was well maintained and swimming pool fantastic. Plenty of local wildlife to admire.
