DeVine Getaway - Home Away From Home

Welcome to De Vine Getaway at Lake Eildon. Located only a 2 hour drive from Melbourne, approximately 140km from the CBD.

Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy all Lake Eildon has to offer from tranquil walks through Fraser National Park admiring the wildlife to water skiing, fishing and boating on the lake. If you fancy some adventure, discover the many 4WD and motorbike tracks surrounding Eildon.

- The Accommodation -

De Vine boasts a fully renovated home with modern open plan living. Floor to ceiling windows provide uninterrupted views overlooking the treetop ranges of Lake Eildon.

Spacious fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry facilities, 3 bedrooms plus a study/bedroom, sleeping up to 11 people with plenty of living area space to wind down.

Outdoors features a BBQ area and a north facing large balcony to enjoy the light afternoon breeze.

The home is fully furnished for your enjoyment. We also provide entertainment including board games, a large selection of DVD's and cards to add to the enjoyment of your stay.

Mobile service in Taylor Bay can be poor, so we also offer FREE WIFI for your use during your stay.

- Accessing The Lake -

Accessing the lake is easy from De Vine as the house backs on to the lake. There is also a private jetty for your personal use, great for fishing swimming or boat mooring.

If you plan on launching a boat from the back of the house, we recommend using a 4WD only. Depending on the water level of the lake, the public boat ramp only a short 10 minute drive away. The property also features plenty of room to park your boat trailer.

Amazing place on the lake

One of the best houses I have stayed at, have been a couple times and every time as been great. House is always clean, perfect views of the lake, and great hosts. I highly recommend staying here when staying at eildon!

Great spot, gorgeous house

Had everything we needed and lots of surprise inclusions that made our weekend super special. Great outdoor areas and the daily visits by the bird life was an added bonus!

Excellent getaway property

Such a beautiful relaxing place to get away too. The house was brilliant and itā€™s exactly what the ad says it is. Very quiet which is what we wanted and has all the amenities needed. The owners were easily contactable and helped us with whatever we needed. Would stay again

Spectacular!

We all thorouvhly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous house with such stunning views. The birds are so friendly the kids were feeding and pattimg them from the parots to the kookaburrahs. Relaxing and lovely week away!

It was a lovely, relaxing and well equipped home. Everything was provided for and the view of the trees and lake was amazing. Had a wonderful time. The owners were thoughtful and informative. Good if you have a boat or JetSki, and want to enjoy relaxation and fishing. Lovely kitchen to cook in and if you you want an extended family holiday it is a great place to go. We enjoyed our week!

Perfect for 2 families. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck & relaxing. Lake level low so we couldnā€™t see the water but it didnt matter. Lots of wildlife etc. Fun stay.

Our stay at De Vine for the week of christmas 2007 was fabulous. The house was so comfortable and well equipped for a long stay, we would recommened it highly to a family or large group looking for a quiet, relaxing break amongst gumtrees and birdlife. The deck was perfect for entertaining and being outdoors and the bedrooms were all of a great size. Lake Eildon is very close for swimming and boating. Just don't forget the mosquito repellent!

We loved our stay here and will definitely book again. The house and views were amazing, as soon as we opened the front door our jaws dropped! The photos really donā€™t do it justice. Beds were really comfortable aswell, had no trouble falling asleep at all. The best thing was the really smooth check in process, directions and instructions very clear so there was no added stress. Thankyou so much.

My past revisited

I chose to stay at your property because forty years ago, my husband and I owned the property several lots beyond yours.It was wonderful to see the area again and to experience the changes that have taken place. Devine Getaway was a very pleasant spot to spend a few days. Your maintenance man should take a look at the water flow to the cistern in the bathroom adjacent to the lounge room I managed to "fix" it once but it failed again the following day. So I thought it wiser to leave it for someone who knows what he is doing. Notwithstanding plumbing issues, we had a delightful two days.

Amazing!

DeVine Getaway is beautiful place to stay with family and friends. Pauline and Sam are great hosts! The house is big, beautiful and has everything that one need to fill comfortable. The location is amazing. The nature around the house and the lake are stunning, good place for fishing. Fraser national park with great walking trailers and beautiful views is not far away. We really enjoyed our four-nights stay. Thanks a lot Pauline and Sam!
