Part of The Modern Villas Hollywood collection, this home features over 1700 sq ft of breathtaking views. As you enter through the brand new cook's kitchen featuring Subzero and Miele appliances, you are taken aback by the breathtaking endless view across the Hollywood cityscape. This home is walking distance from the famous Yamashiro Hotel and Restaurant, and many of Hollywood's famous attractions. Very few view properties in the Hollywood hills get to boast such amazing views while still allowing the privilege of walking to the market or dinner. Moments from Beachwood and Runyon Canyon, this home is an excellent fit for those who want to enjoy the outdoors and Southern California sunshine. The second bedroom can easily convert to a large office. This property excites the senses as the city lights reach out across the horizon. Each detail of the home has been carefully crafted to truly create an experience of a lifetime. The new 3rd penthouse bedroom and master bath on the very top level is spectacular and even has an outdoor kitchen!

This home can be rented as a 3 bedroom, or converted into a 4 bedroom, or 5 bedroom for larger groups (if the bottom unit is available). The prices listed reflect the prices for the 3 bedroom option. Please note that this home sits in a duplex manner, with another of our homes directly below. Otherwise the homes are completely separate, with independent living spaces, entrances and parking spots.

Amazing view. Less than stellar house

This house is was half renovated: trimming half finished in bathrooms. Upstairs deck is a mess. Bathrooms unfinished. Plumbing fixtures in backwards. Old furniture. Pots in bad shape. House was wiped down but not deep cleaned. Linens are old and icky. Parking is impossible. Amazing view.Great location including walking distance to downtown Hollywood. Endless additional fees from cleaning to VRBO. I am a frequent VRBO renter and we would never go back to this house. House itself is a D. View is and A.

Great location and ambiance, BUT . . .

We have been wavering as to how to report on our stay, but we realize that it is our responsibility to report what the place is really like. The images used in the ad are nothing like the real building. Upon our arrival, we found stained rugs are stained, a broken toilet seat, windows and sliding doors that wouldn't open, and tattered furniture . . . the list goes on. It reminded me of rundown college housing. Yes, we considered walking out but we made the most of it and enjoyed our stay. Heck, my sister-in-law was laughing as she told us about the shower handle that fell off in her hand. We will post photos if that option is available.

This place is old, outdated, dirty and nothing like the pictures...

I am shocked at the reviews of this place...its filthy dusty and dirty...deck is falling apart and has nails exposed in certain places. The furniture is broken and falling apart...the curtains have not been cleaned in who knows how many years... The pictures look nothing like the apartment - fake plants are old and color faded, cheap plastic meshing surrounds the balcony. Not worth the money.............

Great family vacation!

This Hollywood Hills penthouse had plenty of room for our family of 6. Communication with the owner/mgt team was easy and check in was a breeze. Beautiful views and great location. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Hilltop is a Perfect Title for this Home

Wow – this villa was definitely on a hilltop in the Hollywood Hills but so incredibly close to everything, even the Hollywood Bowl. The views are absolutely spectacular and the home décor was unique and fantastic. We would definitely return to this home again – it was great!

Los Angeles Lights

The night views, especially, in this villa, are spectacular. My family sat out on the deck in the evening and at night and saw Los Angeles lit up. It had all the space we needed and was decorated very artistically – not your typical boring hotel décor. We loved it!

Spacious and Relaxing

What a great find.... we loved it! The location was great, the home is spacious and relaxing and the view is spectacular. The manager was very accommodating. Check in / check out was a breeze. Hope we are able to stay here again in the future.

Out of the Traffic

It’s hard to find a 3 bedroom affordable rental, much less in the Hollywood Hills. We had 6 people in our family, and this place fit us all perfectly. Loved the fact that the master bedroom (which has a lounge and its own bathroom and rooftop deck) was on the floor above – it made it very private. No frills, but the management was easy to communicate with and we had a small issue, they took care of it right away. Clean, convenient to Hollywood, and such a relief to be out of the traffic of LA in a “Hilltop” retreat.

Absolutely Fasincating

Stress Reliever, if you need a peace of mind this is the place for you. Very clean with breath taking views. The home looks exactly like the pictures. Everything you need is right down the street (literally). The place was so nice I rented it twice. Both times never had a problem. The owner was a 5 star business man. Looking forward to renting other property's from him.

Beautiful View!

A very charming space

My husband and I stayed here along with my sister and her husband. It was so beautiful, peaceful and great place for us to spend time together! We spent each morning enjoying coffee and conversation on our private patio which had an amazing view! The home was very spacious and had everything we needed for the two weeks we stayed including washer and dryer which was very convenient. The neighborhood is located close to Hollywood but manages to stay peaceful and quiet. Brett was a delight to work with and was responsive to any questions or request that we had! We can't wait to till the next time we are in LA, we hope to rent from Brett again!

Convenience and luxury

Great place for an extended stay, a duplex with lots of room for living, dining and relaxing. Very nice kitchen with lots of cabinet space. Centrally located just off the highway and Hollywood. A big plus for us was the Farmers Market just down the street, we spent every Thursday night enjoying LA's finest eats. Managers were very easy to work with and accessible if we had questions.

A great vacation home!

A very well presented, clean place to stay. It had plenty of space for our small family. The location is in a great spot. Not too far from the very busy areas, but far enough away to be quiet. Located just above the heart of Hollywood. Josh and his team made our stay easy and had a quick response to any questions we had. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a home located in a nice neighborhood with a great view!

Had a great time!

Josh and his team were very easy to work with, and the location was perfect for sightseeing! The home is located just above Hollywood and is just down the hill from fine dining and great entertainment. The location of the home was key for our vacation, we we're just a short drive away from the studios and other major attractions. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a lovely home with a spectacular view!

Thanks again!

I was traveling to LA with my best friend to visit our sons that live in the area. We decided to give VRBO a try and loved every minute of it! Going home to your own house was a great way to unwind from the the hustle and bustle of LA! The location is ideal; within minutes we were in the heart of Hollywood! Our sons loved the home and we're jealous of our amazing view of the city! Josh and his team provided everything we needed and was just a phone call away for any information we needed!! We were able to enjoy breakfast every morning on our own deck with a view that stretched from Downtown to the ocean, truly breathtaking! We're already planning our next trip to LA, and look forward to staying in Josh's wonderful getaway!

Very disappointed, didn't stay , and paid for nothing!!

My whole family were very disappointed by the status of the poor maintained apartment. the pictures at VBRO just tell people positive parts of this apartment. they didn't show you many negative areas: unfinished construction works, pieces of ceramic tiles found at bath room floor, missing lights, wires outside and many others; lights did not work. feelings of motel bed room. when we arrived in on Nov 26th, the whole room are very dark even with all lights turned on, actually there were very few lights work, dusts were found many places, towels looked old and not clean. we were told few furniture were moved out by owner, there was only one lamp in one of bed room, celling light removed, master room door/gate was broken or not correctly installed. I took many pictures of this apartment. we talked to apartment operator and proposed to pay half of price without stay in, they agreed verbally on 2nd day, Nov 27, but they refused later in email, we all felt the cleanliness of this room was not good, we couldn’t stay in this apartment, we left after about one hour of arrival and had to find a hotel for that night. we paid full price for nothing but bad experience.

A Peaceful Get away

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Josh and staying in this one of a kind home. Josh was very accommodating to any of our concerns and was more than willing to address them. The view from the balcony is truly spectacular! You can see all of Los Angeles from Downtown all the way to the ocean! Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the Hide-away and would highly recommend this home to family and friends. Thanks again for everything- Lisa

Remarkable View!

I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home with my brother for a family reunion and we had a blast! The area was in a perfect location, nice and quiet so you feel secluded but not far from the heart of Hollywood. The home was very spacious as well and was a great place to entertain friends and family. We couldn't of had a better time in Los Angeles and I'm sure having this lovely home with a spectacular view didn't hurt.

Charming Home!

The Hollywood Hills is a prime location for Los Angeles and this home is located in the thick of it! The homes location was very convenient for us since we spent most of our time in the Hollywood area. It is also located just a few blocks from the farmer's market that had some amazing eats! We had a great time and hope to rebook for our next vacation to LA!

Gorgeous place to Vacation!

I took the family to Los Angeles and we decided we wanted to rent a home instead of staying in a hotel. We loved it! The views we're breathtaking and fine details in the house were amazing! The house had every accommodation we needed and was very clean and fresh! A true masterpiece! We also we're able to attend the Farmers market located only a few blocks away and enjoy some great local eats! This was a perfect get away for our family and we would do it again in a second! We have now set a new standard for our vacations!
