There need to be a lot of improvement in amenities and the condition of the condo, in terms of normal maintenance and how it was presented on arrival.

Awesome Daytona Beach Stay

The condo was great, just as described. Had a view of the ocean and the intercostal, plenty of space for my family of seven. The property made the trip. So many pools and hot tubs. Kids had a blast. Property manager was very responsive. Easy access to the beach. Very close to all kind of attractions and places to eat. We come to Daytona Beach all the time and this is hands-down the best place we’ve stayed at. you won’t be disappointed!

Great family spot!

We love going to Daytona and this unit did not disappoint. Thank you for making our vacation easy and relaxing! The property manager responds quick and the 2 bedrooms was perfect for me, my husband, 6 and 5 year old.

Great Resort

The resort was very accommodating for my whole family. Great location for what we needed. The room was a nice size. Could use a little upgrades like the shower heads, and king bed. But overall had a great time!

Spring break

Second time at Ocean Walk - first time in this unit. Great space - clean, updated, view of both intercoastal and ocean. Resort great for kids - two pools, lazy river, and the beach. Will be back! Thanks for having us!

Daytona for Spring Break

The whole resort is beautiful and this unit was perfect for us. It had 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, 2 full bathrooms, a huge tub, kitchen and washer/dryer! We loved that it was quiet at the end of the hall and it had a nice balcony with ocean and city views! Our 2 boys had an amazing time walking to all the nearby restaurants and shops and really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools!!! We would definitely choose this unit again!

Very nice, spacious

The condo unit was very spacious and clean. It worked well for our family. The resort pools and beach kept all ages entertained all week, and the resort’s arcade, play room and schedule of activities were a pleasant surprise. Beautiful beach view, and it was fun to watch the construction of a new building nearby (no noise!) and the action of the city from up high.

Big and clean

Spacious clean property suited our needs for 2 weeks of the bike rally. Only complaint was missing/ non working light bulbs and had to buy a bigger trash can as the only one provided was just a small recycle bin. Owner responded quickly to issues.

Ocean Walk unit Daytona

Everything was as advertised. Cindy was responsive through the app and when we had questions or issues, she was able to get a corrective action in place. The property was clean and well kept. I would recommend this property for future use to others.

The property was wonderful no issues except no kitchen utensils could not cook we brought food thanking it was fully furnished kitchen and there was one pot and one pan that was it....

Great location

The property was as listed in the pics. Any issues the property manager dealt with. I would suggest adding more towels to the unit(not enough for our party of 6 without washing each day and using our beach towels some). The dishwasher had a leak the day of our arrival and the property manager was quick to respond and maintenance came quickly but it did cause the floor to remain wet for 3/4 of our days there. It didn’t ruin our great time! We would stay in this location again.

Wrong Room-Expensive Parking

So, when we reserved out condo on VRBO, we picked a 23rd floor with a large balcony, when we got there, they checked us into a 22nd floor with a smaller balcony. No real big deal. But we did spend alot of time picking out "THE" condo we wanted. The parking situation sucks, with only one pass, we spent 20+ dollars a day(more if you left more than once) in the public parking. That gets expensive on a 8 day trip. Also, the bed was held up with harbor freight car jack stands, it is whatever it worked, but kinda sketchy? We'd stay at the ocean walk again for sure though, very nice place, we'd just pay up for a room with two parking passes, would have been just as cheap had we known it was that much to park the extra car.

Nice Condo- needs work

Condo was a great layout - loved the split bedrooms. Did not like that net door there is a new condo being built, so my view of ocean was nothing but construction, that was started at 5am each day. Seemed to be in a older part of town, as there is nothing to do around here- unless you want to go to a "adult" male club- then you can see it from your room. drive down farther there are newer places. 1st Time to Daytona, did not like it much, just an older beach town with nothing to do during the day or night. We saw no traffic after 9pm. Condo needs some updates- the master bedroom shower would drip all night, the sink stoppers had to be taken out so the water could drain in both bathrooms, and cleaning was not done too well.

Some disappointments

Pros:Location is right on the beach. The actual beach is really nice. The condo comfortably accommodated our family of 7.Liked the options of indoor and outdoor pool.Cons:The dresser drawers and nightstand drawers are broken in the master bedroom, so opening the drawer was a challenge to not have the entire drawer fall out. The shower in the master bathroom had very little water pressure. It was like a trickle of water coming out, so we had to use the other bathroom. We reached out to property manager and they said they would send someone but no-one ever came. Not the host fault- but the facility itself was very crowded. Waiting for an elevator would take over 5 minutes at times. Trying to find seating at the outdoor pool was a joke. Folks would be out there at 7am saving seats. There was clearly a sign that said "no saving seats" and yet, no one held them accountable. So we ended up going to the beach almost everyday because we couldn't find anywhere to sit at the pool. My kids were a little disappointed in that. The parking is also a joke. There are signs everywhere of places to NOT park and yet people would park there because there wasn't enough parking in the parking deck. There was a time we were trying to leave and it was almost impossible to get out of our parking spot because someone had parked in a "no parking" zone. We came back late one evening and there literally was 1 parking spot left that was very tight we squeezed into. Overall not good!

Issues with the room and unfriendly staff

We have stayed at Ocean Walk for the past several years and really enjoy the resort itself. It's right on the beach, there are several pools, indoor and outdoor activities for the whole family, so it's been great for our vacation. This year, however, will be our last year staying there thanks to an incredibly unfriendly staff and sub par accommodations. From the time we checked in to any time we needed something while there, the staff was not in the least bit helpful or friendly. In fact, some were just down right rude at times. The room itself was probably the biggest let down. Several things were broken including the ice machine, which also leaked into the fridge, the guest bast tub had no stopper and the master bath knobs came off, the dishwasher was hit or miss, multiple outlets did not work, the list goes on. On top of that, the room was also not fully cleaned. Food from the previous guests was left crusted in the sink, there was still sand and grim on the bathroom floors and the room smelled musty and bad. We were INCREDIBLY disappointed in our stay this year and most certainly will NOT be back.
