This cottage is bordering Lake Ouimet. It is located at less than 5 minutes from Mont-Tremblant, ski stations, bars and restaurants . This chalet will insure you of a marvelous stay in the Laurentians. You will find great outdoor activites in the region and great indoor comfort in this beautiful cottage.

The cottage can accommodate 13 persons, having 4 bedrooms plus one hide-a-bed and two bathrooms. There is a firepalce and you will find all the commodities needed for your comfort. You can relax on a large dock or enjoy this quiet lake with 4 kayaks. Watch the sunset from the spacious balcony or from the hammock. A fence surrounds this 15000 s.f. property for the safety of your children and pets. Satellite TV, Internet, microwave, dishwasher, BBQ, washing machine and dryer The cottage is available for $xx plus taxes. If you are interested, I need your address to prepare a contract that you will sign and return with a copy of your drivers licence. Payment is done through Interac. Note that a security deposit of $750 is requested a few days before arrival and it is given back to you after departure if everything is in order and nothing missing. Thank you, Julie. Lovely home in comfortable location, close to the ski resort. Instructions were clear and the home was clean, organized and just what we needed. We enjoyed watching the beautiful birds come to the porch. Highly recommend for families.

Pictures do not do it justice!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lac Ouimet. The lawn and gardens were phenomenal and the dock was an incredible place to have a morning coffee. The water is quite shallow quite far out so it’s fantastic for kids. The kayaks were also great fun! Thank you for an excellent stay. We will be booking again soon!

Great property and great location!!

This property was exactly as advertised and great for the 10 of us that stayed there for a few nights to enjoy all that Tremblant had to offer! We were so close to the ski hills and the spa and the house had everything we needed! We brought the dogs and they ran in the fenced yard and enjoyed lounging with us in front of the fire! Julie was amazing to deal with and made everything so easy for us. We would definitely recommend Julie’s property!

Beautiful lakeside stay - close to Tremblant resort

We really enjoyed our girls weekend at Julie’s cottage property! Even though the lake was still frozen, we loved the big windows that let in so much light, the peaceful view, and the cozy wood fire in the living room. It is a wonderful open space to host a group. The cottage is very well located, close to Tremblant resort (about 7 mins driving) and if you don’t want to drive into town, it is quite easy to book a taxi to get you there and back (16$ each way). There was also a free bus running not too far, but it was only once an hour so we didn’t end up taking it. Julie was very responsive and helpful. Would happily return again, and would be great to check it out in the summer when we can swim/kayak in the lake!

Some Improvements could be made

The location and grounds were great. The house was not as up to date as shown. The kitchen could have been better equipped for so many people they have space for. There were not enough pots etc.. There were not enough towels for all the people they said could stay. I did not like having to make all the beds ourselves. I expected them to be made. Floors were dirty.

Pictures are up to date and we’re taken just after renovations in November so they are up to date. 13 towels and 13 faces towels for 13 people and for a week, there is a washing machine and dryer… many different sizes of pots and pans for cooking and never had any complaints in the past. The beds are not made so this way you are sure that the linen have been cleaned and not left there from the previous renters. Floors had been vacuumed and then washed just prior to the arrival as it is always done. The renter was very happy until departure until I complained about damages done in the kitchen.

Our stay went well!A few pieces of feedback:- We would have appreciate enough toilet paper for our stay considering there was 12 of us across 3 nights - The towels had a weird smell, as if they weren’t washed with laundry detergent- The stair railing is a big safety hazard as it is loose and wobbly- The washroom situation is a bit inconvenient. It’s obviously not something that is fixable, but just a heads up for future visitors, both washrooms are conjoined with the bedrooms. Especially the one downstairs, the only way to enter the bedroom is through the bathroom, and if someone needs to used the bathroom, you’re kind of trapped in your bedroom until they are done.- The beds weren’t set up for us but instead the fitted sheets and pillow cases were placed on top of the bed. It would be nice if those could have been placed on the bed already for us! We also believe the queen bed upstairs had a bed bug. Otherwise, the house is beautiful, the open concept is nice, and the location is super convenient with the house being very close to mont Tremblant village, a skating trail, and other shops and restaurants

First sorry that you did not read the instructions for the cottage before your arrival and did not bring more toilet paper has mentioned since you were a very large group and I cannot control the usage. Also, the smell might have been from the produits you smoked that left a terrible odor all over the cottage and we had to leave all the windows open to get rid of it. For the linen, by having them folded on the beds you know that that are freshly cleaned and not left there between clients. Just above the washer, there are large bottles of soap and all towels and linens are properly washed and dried. And for your information , there are no bed bugs! This is the first time in 20 years that I get these kind of comments. Please see the other comments where there are a lot of 10/10. My cleaning lady asked me if I would rate your group nicely and unfortunately I did even if you did not follow the rules before you departure.

The view and yard were lovely. We loved the hammocks and kayaks at our disposal. The lake is very quiet and perfect for swimming off the dock.The house had rooms and beds as advertised. We were surprised at the layout. The bathroom upstairs was only accessible through both bedrooms. And had to go through main floor bathroom to get to master bedroom. This was a little strange but not a big problem. The air conditioning unit in master wasn’t working well ( only on coldest setting) but the communication with host was excellent to sort it out. We turned off unit and we were lucky that temperature was cool in evenings and it didn’t affect our stay.Overall we really enjoyed the property and the host was very clear about the details and responsive to questions. Thanks!

Wonderful cottage on the lake

We were a group of 8 ladies and absolutely loved this property. It was nice to have kayaks to explore the lake and plenty of seating and beds for everyone. Julie was very helpful in helping us locate things and made the process really easy. We are already planning our next trip back!

Lac Ouimet- Lakeside cottage

The cottage was accurately depicted and described. The location was perfect for our large family--7 adults and 4 children. Appliances, dishes, cutlery and cookware of excellent quality. AC worked very well. Enjoyed the large deck, comfortable lawn furniture and kayaks. The lake was waist-high and perfect for children. Thanks for providing lifejackets! Plenty of room to park. The flower gardens were in full bloom and beautiful. It served our needs perfectly.

Nice stay but house close to road.

House lovely and garden nice and well set out and right on lake with lovely deck but very close to noisy main road and house next door which had lots of short stay party guests so not the quiet lakeside lodge we were expecting. That said we had a lovely time especially on the lake in the 4 kayaks.

Great lakeside cottage

Second time staying at this cottage because it is such an ideal set up and location. It fit our 3 families perfectly and loved having access to the kayaks. House is as posted and upgrades t) the upstairs space and bathroom were really well done. Communication with Julie is also fast. Definitely would recommend this place to others.

Great place! 7 minutes from the village

This place met all our needs. If you are looking to do a birthday party /bachelorette this place really does accommodate every need. The view is amazing and the lake is great to swim in NO SEA WEED!! It was really an awesome place and supper clean. Its a must for booking your next event!

Great Place

Very happy to have booked this cottage. Perfectly situated close to both Mont Tremblant and Mont Blanc. The cottage had everything we needed and the Julie was very easy to communicate with. Will hopefully book here again soon.

Wonderful location, except for the road noise

The house is accurately depicted in the photos. The kayaks were great, and the lake is beautiful. Location is minutes from Mont-Tremblant village by car. However, the house is close to a busy 70km/h road. Additionally, the noise from Jim Russell's Académie De Karting echoes across the lake, so it is not as peaceful and tranquil as we had hoped.

Great family cottage

Stayed with three families with teens. The cottage was spacious and clean and had adequate sleeping options for all. Lac Ouimet is really nice and having the kayaks for 6 people made it easy for all to go out together. Is a very swimmable lake with low traffic. The cottage was really well situated so even walking trails were very close by (Domaine St Bernard). The property is fully fenced so even our dog also had a great time without us having to worry. It was great that Julie was so accommodating by allowing pets, which most places don’t allow. And the owner was very responsive to all emails. Biggest advantage was not having to bring or clean our own sheets and towels, which is a huge time and space saver. The only down point was we wished their were more serving dishes but plates, cups and other were definitely in abundance for a large group.
