THE VIEW
Enjoy this upstairs beachfront cottage condo with full ocean views from the master bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The sand and water's edge are just a few steps away! Experience incredible ocean breezes and sunsets sitting on one of the four balcony deck chairs.

KITCHEN AND DINING
Enjoy a beautifully updated kitchen with custom cabinets, quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances, all with an open design that allows for plenty of useable countertop space. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the basic cooking utensils you need to prepare your culinary masterpieces while on your beach vacation. The dining table comfortably seats 6. There are also 4 additional spots at the counter for younger guests or quick bites.

LIVING AREAS
The living room has ample sitting room to house the condo's capacity of 6 with a large comfortable sofa with a chaise lounge and 2 oversized swivel chairs. There is a 55” flat-screen Smart TV in the living room that you can use to log in to your Netflix, Hulu, etc, and keep up on your favorite shows after a day in the waves. There is also cable TV with 250+ channels. The fireplace is fully functional and is available for your use and enjoyment during your stay for the occasional cool winter day - or to create an ambiance. There are also 4 wall heaters throughout the unit for extra warmth during the winter months if needed.

The condo has 2 bathrooms. The expanded master bath has an ensuite vanity area and a stunning walk-in rain shower with a handheld shower wand. The guest bath is in the hallway between the bedrooms and is just as stunning with a tub/shower combo with a handheld shower wand.

SLEEPING
D26 comfortably sleeps 6. The spacious master suite has a king-size bed and the guest bedroom features a Queen and Twin bed. For additional sleeping arrangements, there is a sofa sleeper with a memory foam queen mattress in the living room. In case you have members of your party with different viewing preferences there are also flatscreen Smart TVs with cable in both bedrooms. There is also an air mattress in the closet.

EXTRAS
-This unit comes with TWO assigned parking spaces in the garage next to the unit
-A PacknPlay Travel Crib is provided in the unit for those traveling with younger guests.
-Hi-speed wireless internet is provided free of charge.
-D26 is also fully equipped with all the needed beach equipment to have a truly magical beach vacation including boogie boards (4), beach towels (6), sand toys, a beach umbrella (1), and beach chairs. (4).

**Please note there is no AC in the unit. For the most part, Oceanside is known for its temperate climate that stays in the "Goldilocks Zone" all year round, meaning not too hot, not too cold. If you do happen to be visiting during a warm spell we do provide fans in the condo to help create cooling cross breezes.

LOCAL AREA
D26 is located at North Coast Village, an oceanfront complex between the Oceanside Pier and the Harbor, built directly on the sand and just steps to the beach. Enjoy the lush tropical gardens with beautiful waterfalls, streams, koi ponds, and hidden alcoves. You'll have access to amenities such as a lagoon-style year-round heated pool and hot tub, commercial-sized barbeque area, putting green, fitness center, sauna, reserved garage parking, as well as laundry facilities, and 24-hr security to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. North Coast Village is truly a one-stop location for an unforgettable vacation.

If that's not enough, you can head down to the harbor or the pier and enjoy such activities as fine dining, jet ski, kayak, bike, and surfboard rentals, sailboat excursions, and deep-sea fishing. North Coast Village is centrally located you can walk to everything near the beach and your car can stay in its secure, underground parking spot- no hassling for beach parking!

Our perfect location right in the middle of San Diego and Orange County also makes it easy to visit all the great attractions of Southern California. Walk time to Beach (on the beach, 0 min), Oceanside Harbor Shops and Restaurants (5 min), Oceanside Pier Restaurants (5 min), Downtown Restaurants, Shops, Movie Theaters, Playhouse, and Museums (10 min). Amazing property

We went on a girls trip not expecting to have a very clean, beautiful grounds property. The management was always there for questions or recommendations. Definitely a beautiful place we would come visit again.

Best vacation spot

My family and I have stayed in this condo for two years now. The view is incredible, you don't even need to leave the condo to experience the beach. The condo is very clean and organized. The beds are comfy. There isn't AC so be prepared to open the windows if it's warm outside, but the sea air does a good job at keeping it comfortable. We look forward to coming again.

Nice Relaxing Thanksgiving on The Beach

Soent the Thanksgiving holiday just relaxing on the balcony with occasional walks in the surf to the pier and back. We only left the complex to get groceries.Was nice to just escape the craziness of covid and just hang out, breathing the air coming in from the Pacific.

Perfection in Paradise!

We LOVED this unit. It has a fabulous front row view of the ocean. The decor of the apartment is lovely, and all the chairs, couches and beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms appear to be recently remodeled and are both beautiful and functional. Great showers! And the kitchen is incredibly well stocked. We will be back!

Great beachfront location

Despite a late evening arrival, checking in was seamless. We enjoyed the property and it’s great location within walking distance of several restaurants. Some small niggles with the property, couldn’t fathom the tv, sliding wardrobe doors off their runners (we fixed this), main niggle was food deposits in several of the kitchen cupboards from previous guests and furniture not moved to clean under presumably from less than thorough cleaning regime.

Oceanview!

Beautiful condo in a beautiful complex steps from the beach. Main living/dining/kitchen area is separate from the two bedrooms, which are bisected by a bathroom (the master has its own bathroom). Great views. Pack-n-0play for the infant. Bathtub for bathing the kids. Fully stocked kitchen even included a crock pot. Plenty of blankets, pillows, towels. Parking was a breeze. What else more is there to say?

Perfect location for relaxation at the beach. Beautiful beach right outside the door and walking distance to pier and restaurants downtown and a stone's throw from the harbor (more restaurants and shops.) This newly renovated condo is top notch. They well appointed kitchen offers everything you would need to cook or bake and plenty of dishes so you will not run out of clean dishes or constantly be running the dishwasher. I really appreciated that. We walked to the Farmers Market on Thurs. morning then back in the evening for the Sunset market (food and craft booths.) Great food selection and fantastic people watching. The surf museum is interesting as well. Can't wait to come back next year!

Not technically beachfront ...

This is an older unit that has been updated with mostly new furniture. It is clean and comfortable though a little worn around the edges. Even though the ocean is right out your balcony, their is a breakwall in front of the complex and you cannot actually access the beach from this unit (or any unit in this complex from what I could see). We did enjoy the beach adjacent to the complex and walked to the pier several times. There are also several good restaurants in the harbor. The Sunset Market on Thursdays is a great place to find good food with just about any kind you could ever want. There are no grocery stores close to this place that we could find and all the ones that were billed as food markets were mostly just liquor stores wth some minimal food offerings. If you're planning to eat in, you'll have to go quite a ways to get groceries. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but might look for a different place if we came to Oceanside again.

Great place to stay!

Enjoyed the condo! I was able to watch the surfers from both my bed and the sofa. My neighbor was fishing from his balcony...never seen that before. Now, about the condo. It’s location is prime. Simple nautical decor. Not beach theme over-kill, which I appreciate. It had all the necessities. Cozy sitting & sleeping. Could use some cosmetic upgrades to tile floor throughout, bathrooms & kitchen could use a facelift. All things that wouldn’t keep us from staying again. We plan to rebook for summer. The property mgmt company was great. They messaged me to see if we needed anything, which I appreciated. They even coordinated a late checkout for us on the last day of our stay. That was very good customer service. Thank you for accommodating us. We definitely recommend.. The only reason I gave 4/5 is cause the tile floor was cold & hard, bathroom very slippery when wet, and industrial carpet in bedrooms is rough on the feet, but being near the beach, we understood the practicality of it. Just wish I brought my slippers.

Can't get any closer to the ocean and waves!

First and foremost, this is one of just a few units within the Northshore Village that are directly on the sand/ocean. Truly we've never stayed this close (like less than 50 feet) from the ocean's edge. Which not only makes for a beautiful view, but amazing sound of the ocean waves crashing against the shore. And it's super convenient getting to the beach and back. It's also nice that the master bedroom is also oceanfront so you can open the window and hear the ocean waves all night long. And the living room has a deck that overlooks the ocean, perfect for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Even the dining area has a lovely view of the ocean and the sound of the waves in the background. Northshore Village is a fantastic complex with many amenities (although some are closed and others restricted due to COVID-19 rules) and the location in Oceanside is great if you want to walk to good restaurants, walk on the beach, go to the pier, rent bikes, etc. The unit is older, and appears to have been only partially renovated (living room), so kitchen is older with tile countertops and older wooden cabinets. I noticed that most of the other units in that area had been updated with granite countertops, nice floors, etc. I mention it not so much as a complaint but just to set expectations that it is older and not as nicely finished as some of the other units, if that's important to you. Truly all of that is overshadowed by how amazing the location is right on the ocean. and how wonderful the complex is.

Great vacation spot

Let me start off by saying the the owner mark was fast with answering my emails and text. We had a problem with the internet and tv and he fixed it promptly. Next, the condo was superb. Not outdated like the reviews say. There was a pantry for food witch was handy and not available in most condos. but a fresh coat of paint would bring it up to most standards. Can't beat the view and the beach access is close on both sides of the property. The property is superb. Thanks, ocean on the sand for a great stay and am looking forward to coming back

Great location, unit needs better cleaning and maintenance

North Coast Village is pretty and the ocean front location of this unit was stunning. The property management company was very thorough and responsive and easy to work with. The unit itself is dated. The unit was inadequately cleaned prior to our arrival. The furniture needs updating. There is lots of rust everywhere. The beach furniture was dirty and unusable.

Review

The property was clean and lovely. The view was perfect. All the items we needed were available in the condo. The only real complaint is that we could not completely enjoy our mornings the way we wanted to. There are a lot of rules about many things and including the time to do the activities. Although they have many amenties we could not do any of them until after 9 am. I am a full-time caregiver for my elderly mother with dementia. Therefore, the only time my husband and I have together is before she wakes or after she sleeps. She does not go to sleep early so we like to utilize mornings. We enjoyed getting up each morning at 4 am to make some coffee and walk down to the beach, moon watch, as well as, o listening and watching the waves. We would then go for a run on the beach. Afterwards, we wanted to go enjoy a swim in the pool and sit in the jacuzzi, like at 7am - before she got up. Unfortunately, it was not possible since it was prohibited until 9 am. To us, that seemed late for vacationers and definitely in our situation. We made due and enjoyed the place but it was a little disappointing when we chose the place due to the amenities.

Great Family Vacation

Property was fantastic and location was great. The unit was nice, well equipped and best of all it was right by the beach. The kitchen area is a little tight , however the living area was wonderful and bedrooms are nice. Plenty of beach toys and accessories. We were not able to find the Hair dryer and a couple other minor items that were mentioned in the listing, and the can opener was not good. But, those were very minor issues that did not distract us from having a wonderful vacation.

Excellent Stay!!

We loved our stay at the seaside cottage at North Coast Villas! Super easy check in and we absolutely could not get enough of the view. Family time playing games, eating and watching beautiful sunsets. Kids enjoyed the beach and pool and we had a great time walking the strand and pier. All in all a fantastic rental and we had an awesome time.

Sounds of Waves

We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time, wish we could have stayed longer. The condo is clean, well equipped and has the added bonus of being ocean front. Listening to the waves all day and night is magical.

Very clean, outdated kitchen, and the floors could be updated. But overall it was a beautiful place to stay at and very accommodating for all your needs. Parking and checking in was super easy. Definitely would book again.

Amazing view- love North Coast Village!

The view is incredible. Plenty of boogie boards available (huge plus!) and sand toys in large bin- as well as awesome Tommy Bahama chairs. Easy check-in and excellent communication leading up to reservation and throughout. Not having guests above us was awesome and condo was very accessible (not wheelchair as there are stairs) via parking spot. We went during mild temps- so no AC was fine. But leaving the windows open was pretty loud because of the waves. Make sure not to leave out dishes in sink- ants will appear :( A single amount of laundry soap would have been awesome- laundry facilities are available in common area. Also dish sponge and designated swim/hot tub towels would have been good- plus some shampoo/bath soap for at least one day. Landline phone rang a lot with wrong numbers. Fan in master bath was pretty loud. Also, fan in bedrooms were on same sensor- so they didn’t work quite right. We’ve stayed at North Coast Village 2 other places. This condo was the least updated but had pretty amazing views that made up for it. The other 2 places had a w/d in unit and were also ocean views. All in all, we love this location and enjoyed our stay :)
