Also within a few blocks are the fascinating Caloosa Indian Mounds featuring regular tours with skilled history guides, a free kayak launch, a small fishing pier and the grand old Tarpon Lodge, featuring a restored circa 1910 4 star restaurant, bar and small hotel - a true taste of Old Florida.
