Enjoy easy living in a relaxed golf course community ....bike trails, nature walks, kayaking, boating, fishing, golf and tennis at your fingertips without the crowds. All this while staying on the 11th hole of the island's only golf course, Alden Pines. It is a nature lover's paradise with a view of eagles right from the back porch. Osprey, ibis and all of Florida’s waterfowl abound the area.

For those that love to shop, Matlacha offers unique shopping opportunities of the artsy kind and for those that need a bigger experience it is just a short 10 minute drive off the island to every shopping experience imaginable.

The Pineland marina is a short walk from the house. If you have a boat, you could explore the waters of Pine island sound and beyond--right out to the gulf of Mexico. Fish Boca Grande pass for tarpon, or just enjoy breathtaking sunsets.

Better than the pictures

Nice quiet place to stay. House is very large with comfortable beds and pillows. The owner was always available and kind. I would stay here again

Love Pine Island

Great Holiday Stay

We have stayed in a fair number of rental properties and this home was by far the most well equipped we have ever stayed in. The location was great. The neighborhood was peaceful. The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this property.

Love Pine Island

We loved the house! It really felt homey and we were comfortable the minute we got there. Pine Island is our home away from Ohio and we'd love to be able to come back and stay at this house! The hosts were super! Thanks for a great visit!

Excellent Host!

We were looking for a quiet location as a home-base for Spring Break and this worked so well! The house was very clean and we LOVED the hot tub! Host Stew was great and responded quickly to my messages. Check-in and check-out were easy.

A hidden gem

Loved the location. Hope to come back and enjoy it again soon. I would definitely recommend this home. We are already talking about planning our next trip back. Nice quiet, beautiful, large home in a beautiful area with so many hidden gems to check out

Loved Pine Island and really liked this house

Pine Island is great with lots of restaurants and good local life music. Loved Lily’s deli. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Management was quick to respond when contacted. We would recommend this rental to our friends and would enjoy returning again.

Pine Island

House was well stocked and clean. Situated on golf course and lanai overlooked water feature on golf course. A great way to enjoy the wildlife/birds. Every am I took a 2-3 mile walk around the grounds. Definitely a relaxing week on Pine Island.

Living on Island Time!

We spent two weeks here for a much needed vacation. This place offers everything described and more! Sitting out on the lanai with morning coffee was a perfect way to start our day. Plenty of wildlife to see and watching golfers on the course was quite entertaining. We saw the bald eagles many evenings, and I must say that they are breathtaking. The temperatures at night were perfect for a dip in the jacuzzi under a sky full of brilliant stars. The community pool is easily accessible and well maintained. I loved that it wasn't packed like the beaches, and it was kept at a perfect temperature. The golf cart was a blast. You really must take it out for a cruise around the area. You could spend your entire vacation without leaving the island... great restaurants, cute cultural shops, a grocery store, gas station, a nature reserve, water sports activities and more all within minutes! The house was clean, cozy, and had everything needed. Stewart was attentive to any questions, responded to emails quickly, and was very respectful. An overall delight to work with. We definitely recommend staying here for some soul rejuvenation!

Fabulous

The house we rented in Alden Pines was fabulous. The lanai and hot tub were great. The lanai was very relaxing, and watching the golfers, ospreys, the turtle and bald eagle was enjoyable, I would definitely rent again and tell other friends if they need a place. It was the best vacation we have had in years. Thank you very much Stewart.

Perfect accommodations

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this house. We were down for a big family birthday gathering, and spent 8 days in this home. It is open, spacious, and clean. The master bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the kids' rooms (which was great!!). A nice touch that there were some family board games provided, along with anything else we needed!! The golf cart was great fun, and the location right on the golf course was fantastic. The kids enjoyed watching the golfers, and going golf ball hunting in the yard. The golf course is great fun, and the staff at the clubhouse is very friendly. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable, and the showers were surprisingly large! The two refrigerators were very convenient and it was nice having a large pantry in a vacation rental! Highly recommend this home, and we will likely use it again on our return trips to our favorite little island :)

Very nice house...quiet and peaceful.

Excellent beds and showers. Well stocked kitchen. Suggest a larger screen tv and more expansive programs.
