Stunning Views - from the Clubhouse to the Mountains.

This beautifully serene vacation home located in the private mountain community of Pine Mountain Club (PMC), CA.

Located in the Los Padres National Forest approximately 80 miles north of Los Angeles just West of Interstate Freeway 5.

Contemporary 2,200 sq. ft. view home features 3 bedrooms/3 full bathrooms, two decks with views of the clubhouse, along with amazing star gazing, perfect for a romantic getaway. Both decks have tables and upper deck has couches, tables, BBQ, smoker, & has a counter set-up for a propane pizza oven!
Dine indoors or out!

Located within walking distance to the clubhouse and the village, where guests will find dining, dancing, swimming, golf, tennis, pickle ball, game room, shopping and more.
Be advised that the house is located on a hill, so the return walk will challenge some.

Near hiking trails located in PMC, or take a drive up to the top of Mt. Pinos for some serious hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, sledding or more amazing star gazing.

Our Smart home features integration with Amazon Echo, a fully equipped kitchen, a wood burning fireplace upstairs & pellet stove downstairs, 65' HDTV upstairs, 55" HDTV downstairs, Streaming on ROKU, Stereo, DVD player, BluRay player, PS2 downstairs for the kids and more.

Please be aware that a Verizon tower is the ONLY cell carrier that services PMC.
There is a provided hot-spot to connect to while at the house, if your cell service is other than Verizon, or another plan that uses Verizon towers, you will need to find a location with hot-spot service.

PMC Security Patrol operate 24-hours a day and streets are plowed during snow days, but the long driveway may need plowing.
Bring chains or snow tires if visiting during winter months, just in case!!
AWD or 4-WD strongly suggested during the winter, again , just in case!!

Because PMC is located within the Los Padres National Forest, be aware that there are wild animals including bears, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes & foxes.
Food of any kind CANNOT be left outside the house or in your car.

Peace and Serenity is only 1 1/2 hours from Los Angeles.

The house was well equipped and provided two areas to gather so it was great for teenage gamers to be in an area of their own. The weather was warm for November but allowed for making use of the local hiking trails. The view was excellent and we enjoyed our stay.

Tranquil Escape. This house is a perfect getaway—very well maintained, with beautiful views that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Amazing property with Amazing views

We’ve stayed at a few Cabins in PMC and this is our new favorite!! Property owners were Amazingly accommodating! Cabin was equipped with everything needed for a nice home away from home feel! The views were amazing and the property was immaculate!! Even better than the pictures! We will definitely be back!! Thank you again to these great hosts!!

Our wish came true for a white christmas... we were truly blessed.

Such a wonderful experience at the cabin. Had a very small problem and reached out to owners who immediately got back to us and problem solved. Cabin had all the necessities needed which made food preparation very easy. Lots of warm blankets to enjoy the snow falling, fire burning, and beautiful view while relaxing on the couch. Thank you for the start to a blessed 2019.

New Year's Eve at PMC

Our stay was great! The house itself is actually much more bigger and comfortable than it can appear from the pictures. It fully equipped with all necessary appliances, kitchen stuff and entertainment. Spectacular view and convenient location for those who is tired of busy city. Owner was very helpful and responsive. I love how concerned he was regarding our safety and well being during our trip. He gave us very valuable advises which we made sure to follow to improve our travel experience. Our family would really love to stay again at the property.

Great house with one exception

A lot that we liked about the house including the stunning views, fully stocked kitchen, lot of spaces to chat inside and out. Hosts were extremely responsive. Wi-fi worked well with some confusion whether the house did have it and how to find the password. The exception was a sewage odor we smelled on the back deck and masterbedroom all 3 nites we were at the house. Hosts say they it is rare and they have tried unsuccessfully to find the source. If they fix it, we would enthusiastically return. Until they fix we, regrettably, will not go back.

Thanks, Aton for the review. As I stated when we first heard of this issue, we have not found the source for the odor. For us, it has not been consistent, actually very rare. Others have not had this experience. But we will continue to look for the source, but without it being constant it is nearly impossible to find. It seems that the odor was only at night? Was there any commonality that you were doing at night?

Cozy Warm in the Winter with a Beautiful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. The views of the snowy mountains were beautiful. Between a roaring fireplace upstairs and a pellet stove downstairs we were cozy warm despite the cold temperatures outside. We were impressed by the kitchen amenities which included extras such as: electric griddle, blender, crock pot, many pots and pans, and a plentiful supply of dishes, cups, glasses and utensils. There was nothing more we could have wanted in the kitchen except for maybe a little more empty pantry space for our groceries. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and had lots of dressers and closets. We had lots of room to spread out between 3 bedrooms, a living room, family room and a library that the home felt very spacious. Although there were a few hiccups upon arrival, the owner was responsive to fix a tripped circuit breaker and to have the towel supply stocked. Overall, a good rental unit that we will visit again. In summer, the two levels of decks would be nice to enjoy for a BBQ or just relaxing.

Kathy, Thanks so much for your review. Are you talking about the pantry in the hall not having enough space?? Maybe adding depth in the shelving?? I think that there is a lot of 'space' in the pantry but maybe not enough shelf depth. I will review and make changes if needed. Thanks again. PS- the string should be beautiful with all this rain/snow.

Relaxing Holiday Stay

What a wonderful stay we had in Pine Mountain Club. The house was spacious and had all the amenities needed for our long holiday weekend. The views were amazing, and since we had seasonally warm days, we all enjoyed spending time outside on the deck. We also made use of the gas BBQ grill two of the nights. We took a short drive, about two miles, to the Enchanted Forest Trail for a Christmas Eve hike. My family also walked down to the village from the house, but it is a steep hike back up. The hosts are very communicative and helpful. We can’t wait for our next stay.

Great Family Retreat

A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views

Reasonably priced, well-maintained property with breathtaking views. The outdoor furnishings were very comfortable with plenty of heat lamps for outdoor entertaining. We enjoyed the huge deck that overlooks Pine Mountain Club. The home itself was very lovely and well- maintained. The owner was very professional, friendly and accommodating. We needed a late check out to enjoy the newly fallen snow and the owner was very willing to work with us. This property has the best views in the area. BREATHTAKING!! You can't go wrong with this property. We had a amazing time. We can't wait to book our next trip. Also, the neighbors were super nice as well!! Thanks Augie!! Happy New Year to you and your family!!

Million dollar stay!

We loved it! In this spacious, well stocked vacation home, the kitchen was ready for us to cook a Thanksgiving feast and then some. Three separate bedrooms and three bathrooms allowed for maximum privacy and space. The large upper back deck has four separate seating areas all overlooking the Pine Mountain area. Expansive library of books and hundreds of DVDs, game room, karaoke, and oodles more entertainment options kept everyone in the group happy. The owners were more than responsive and approachable with any concern or questions we had. The perfect hosts! 10/10 would recommend. We look forward to coming back.

Thanksgiving in PMC

This house was great for our Friendsgiving it accommodated 3 families (6 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant) wonderfully. We came prepared with kitchen items and such like we were camping, and could have kept most of it at home. The kitchen has anything that you would possibly need, for daily meal preparation (and even a Thanksgiving Feast!). The bedrooms and living areas were comfortable, too! The little town of Pine Mountain Club is so cute, you feel like you are far away, while not to far from him! The owner is very responsive and helpful as well.

Truly a Million Dollar View

We had a family vacation here about 2 years ago and we loved the house. The house is kept in very clear condition and has all the convenience that we were looking for. The owner was a very nice person and maintained good communications with me whenever I needed to contact her. I'm coming back here again for sure 100%

This is a far cry from the text you sent us, "The cabin was amazing, we had a great time." "We left everything as is" It would have been better if you had left things 'as-was', since you moved an armoire, coffee table, and chest that hold pellets for the pellet stove without returning them to their proper place. Blankets and pillows moved to different rooms (I now know why). Grease stains on the deck around the barbecue. Could the review be because of the extra charge for bring 12 people after booking for 7?? And our limit for a party is 10. Seems like all our other guests never had issues like you had.

Great place to stay in Pine Mountain Club

We had a nice time in this house over Christmas 2017. The place has everything you need. We didn't need to bring anything other than food and drink. They even provide firewood. The views are great, and you can walk into town. It's only about 3/4 of a mile from the shops and restaurants, but it is pretty steep on the way back. We did it for exercise to work off all the food we ate.

Thanks for the kind words John. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. And thank you for leaving our house tidy. We do want to provide a house were you don't need to think about want to bring other than your food/drinks and personal items. The views come with a 'cost', and that is a rather steep street, and the house is at the top! Going down away from the village the street leads to hiking trails. Come back anytime.

Pictures don't truly show this house's charm. Big and comfortable house with all the comforts of home. The owner provides a fully stocked house with plenty of room to entertain and close to the village to go out to eat and do outdoor activities. There is a trail to hike down the street that you can loop into a 5+ mile hike. The views are priceless. Highly recommend this home. FYI!! There is no Wi-Fi so cellphone signal is non existent I had no signal with T-Mobile, at&t and sprint. Will come back again highly recommend this rental.

Thanks Christian for that review. We really did try to make it as you described. I am sorry if I did not alert you to the WiFi/cell situation in PMC. Verizon is the ONLY cell carrier currently servicing PMC. When we are there I use my phone (Verizon) as a hotspot for WiFi, BUT the plan is to get a Verizon JetPack so that travelers can buy their own PREPAY plan and have WiFi available. Unfortunately internet service is very expensive for an unlimited amount (and have to sign a 2-year contract), or it is charged by usage....which cannot be limited, so that could be VERY expensive with overage costs. The JetPack seems to be the best solution. I do hope you will think of us the next time you wish to visit PMC.
