Lovely clean apartment, with beautiful views, and a great pool area. We were very sad to leave. It is a bit of a steep walk up and down the hill, but itā€™s short, and going round Grant Street as opposed to Wharf Street is much easier on the way back. Pool area is delightful and almost always was quiet, which really suited us.A bit of noise from the bar but very faint unless you are on the balcony, and even then itā€™s not obnoxious. Very close to all the hustle and bustle, bars, restaurants, marina, etc. if you prefer quiet would recommend the 4 mile beach side of the town. Right next to the Sunday markets which are a must do, especially the fresh coconut with banana. Hope itā€™s not another 15 years between visits.

Comfortable apartment with beautiful views. Very convenient for the centre of Port Douglas but in a quiet area on the hill, one street up from Macrossan. Spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Recommended.

Perfect Location and Fully Equipped

We spent 6 nights in Port Douglas for GBR diving. The villa is perfect after a long day on the boat. It has everything you need as far as kitchen supplies and a grill on the beautiful deck. We couldn't have been happier.

Very impressive villa

As soon as you walk in to this property, you feel at home and at ease. A beautifully laid out Villa with all that you need. Good quality appliances, furniture and a divine pool. Thank you Suzanne for sharing your place. We will certainly be back on that deck watching that spectacular sunset.

What a view

The property is better than the photos, comfortable furnishings and very comfortable bed. Some goodies in the fridge ā¤ļø and loved the coffee machine and pods. We didnā€™t use the kitchen due to all the great eateries so close by but there was everything you might need if you wanted to cook inside or on the bbq outside. Fantastic communication and whole process very easy.

This apartment was one of the best we have stayed in. Everything was amazing - size, facilities, bed, views and location. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer, but would love to return given the opportunity.

A wonderful luxury property which has been beautifully maintained. Note that it is managed through a 3rd Party (Vrbo UK) and not Expedia, and the 'Meet & Greet' was not exactly as advertised. However, getting access was straightforward. The apartment is spacious inside and enjoys a well equipped kitchen. It has a large balcony with a dining table for 6, and a gas BBQ. The views are spectacular. Bedrooms are large and comfortable with lovely bathrooms, comprising a large walk in shower (ensuite) and huge bath (separate). The utility room has a good washer and dryer. In short, this apartment wants for nothing. The only slight downsides are the noise from the local bars (audible music each night until 2300-2330). On the positive side, if you are in those bars and restaurants, of which there are many within walking distance, you'll not care! Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

A great place, but spoiled by the evening noise from nearby pubs

Port Douglas is wonderful, and the property is very comfortable with wonderful views The facilities were good, especially after the manager bought in a gas barbecue The pub noise occurred from Thursday to Sunday, always from 6PM until 11 or 11.30 PM It could be blocked by closing the doors, but spoiled sitting outside in the evenings The 25m pool was good for swimming laps Overall a good property with a lot to offer, and OK if you are not bothered by singing from Paddyā€™s Bar

The Point Apartments

A beautiful place to stay, property was amazing and the few essential items left in the pantry was very kind and helpful. View was great. Great location. The only thing is it up on the hill so you need to be able to walk up and down the hill. Would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant apartment in Port Douglas!

On arriving at the apartment, we found that the description of the ease of moving luggage from car to inside the apartment was completely accurate. No steps at all, and literally 5 metres to the front door. Inside, the apartment was really well equipped and the balcony was just gorgeous! PD had a wonderful temperature/humidity balance and a pleasant breeze, and sitting on the balcony was very relaxing. All in all, a great stay.

We love staying in this development. Itā€™s convenient to town, the views are amazing and the apartment and pool are just easy and lovely. We stayed in a different apartment last time but think this one is even better! Well kitted out for cooking or close enough to town to pick up a pizza. Amazing shower pressure! Thank you!

Wonderful Accommodation, Great Lication

Booking this property for a week was a great choice. The property overlooks Macrossan St but not close enough to hear the noise. The unit was very clean and the check in was easy. The communication between us and the property manager was great, the chocolates and sparkling in the fridge was greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the pool and balcony view

Our 5 days at this ocean-view property were wonderful and we would love to come back. The apartment is on the top story of three stories, but built on a hill so you park you car at the front door of the apartment and don't have the carry any bags up stairs. Once you enter the small kitchen is on the right and the hallway leading to the bedrooms. The lounge and large balcony are directly ahead and provide lovely views over the pool and ocean and mountains. Amazingly there is NO biting insects so we sat outside every night on the balcony drinking wine. It was bliss. The saltwater pool is beautiful - it's just perfect for a morning and afternoon dip and a good length to swim some laps as well. We cooked a little in the kitchen - it is small but functional and had all the utensils we needed. The apartment is ideally located, parallel to the main street of Macrossan so you are close to all the shops, but from the apartment you really only see the pool and ocean, not the main street. We loved this place and know you will too!
