Your reservation includes $400 worth of beach and adventure gear rental! You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

Bringing a pet or want pool heat? That can be arranged for additional fees (please note that pool heat will only raise the water temperature 10 degrees above the outside temperature). Please check with us on size and number limits for pets. No events are allowed that are over the occupancy of the house or that require a chaperone. We strictly adhere to a minimum age limit for renters.

*The elevator is residential grade and may occasionally experience disruptions. Our staff will do all we can to repair any issues and get the elevator functional again. However, if an elevator repair tech/Company is needed repair times can extend several days due to our remote location. If you have someone in your party with mobility issues please plan accordingly as this amenity cannot be guaranteed.

We had the best experience at Rosemary Dunes! The home was in great shape and came with everything we required. A short walk down to the beach and the pool was a huge plus. We enjoyed our time and look forward to going back!

Great location and view

This was our first trip to Cape San Blas. We loved the area and the house was perfect for our group. We also enjoyed the rental company that brought bikes and chairs. Very convenient. The house was clean and we loved the view from the porches.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is absolutely wonderful. My family enjoyed everything about it. Overall the home was spotless; the one criticism would be that the cleaners make sure to go under the furniture. I always look under beds, etc. before leaving in case I drop something. There was lots of dust underneath beds and furniture. Not a huge deal, just a suggestion for the future. I would not hesitate to rent this home again. If you are looking for a quiet place for a family vacation, this is it!

The home was beautiful, clean, spacious and The view & location on the beach was amazing! The biggest issue was the advertised ā€œelevatorā€, didnā€™t work! Rental company told us 2 days prior to arrival w/no options for our senior dog who canā€™t ambulate stairs. This house has many stairs!! I asked how they would compensate this last minute inconvenience with no response. My dog fell several times which was heartbreaking. I canā€™t imagine if a disabled human rented this house w/ a non working elevator what the company would do.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Rosemary Dunes is a beautiful home. Loved the proximity to the beach and having the pool. The convenience of the Elevator for the grandmothers who were with us was critical. The condition of the house was excellent. The only reason my review is a 3 is because of a couple of things;We were robbed underneath the house. The house really needs some security cameras under the carport. We have suspicions of the people who were staying in the property next to us (not the yellow shutters house but the other side). There were multiple families staying there and they were a little rough around the edges. Man walked out on the deck nude while our girls were playing in the pool. This happened on Wed evening possibly while we left the house to get our pictures taken or during the middle of the night. We did file a report. 2nd) the width of the beach is narrow. People from other houses used our walk to the beach and 1 family rented equipment and set it up right in front of our beach front rental and left it there all week despite the ordinance. I reported it to the rental company but no one reported it to the authorities. Anotehr family one day set up right next to them. Get out there early to claim your spot even if you are beach front. Apparently the Sherrifs office believes it is a vacationer possibly doing the robbery. They hit a couple houses right around us. No where else on the cape and it seems to happen the same time every year. We saw the neighbors departing with brand new Yeti cooler that looked just like the one stolen from us. Along with other things taken off my husband's boat.

Nice Enough

This vacation stay started a little rocky. When we pulled in to park we noticed beach access directly to the left of the home but it had a sign that said ā€œprivate propertyā€ so we thought that meant it was just access for the house we rented. Turns out that is the access for the entire street and it wasnā€™t ā€œprivateā€ at all. As we were starting to settle in and relax on the porch a man walked up the access and started screaming at us that it was community access and we had been parked in front of it all week blocking access even when we told him we had just arrived a few moments ago he continued to scream and yell. It was awful. The sign should be changed to reflect what type of access it truly is and one that states ā€œdo not block/parkā€. The property photographs well but there is a ton of deferred maintenance that needs to be addressed. The pool was dirty (full of sand/dead lizard/crabs) when we got there and was never cleaned the entire week. We cleaned what we could with the little net that is provided but it would have been nice to actually have it vacuumed out. We saw several roaches inside the home throughout our stay as well. All of the beds were in bad shape/very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The outside shower was all rusted out and you could barely use it to get clean from the beach but if you used the water hose provided it would shut off all of the water to the houseā€¦ literally zero water, Iā€™ve never seen something like that happen before. We had 12 people staying in the home and we cooked every meal so we had to call the management company to let them know we had excessive trash but no one ever showed up to get the bags left outside of the trash can like they said they would so by the time we left there was a huge mountain of trash. Overall, vacation at the beach is always enjoyable regardless of the condition of the home you rent but it would have been a more enjoyable stay if the management company and homeowner actually cared for the property.

The perfect home for our family of 14! It accommodated our family very well.. beach front convenance with private pool was a hit! Large kitchen was well stocked.. Great location on the Cape!

Rosemary dunes was in the perfect location to the store and few restaurants. We loved being right on the beach, just a few steps and we were on the sand. Previous reviews had mentioned a public beach access right next to the property, it was for our street only which consist of 3 other houses and was not an issue for us. The beach access was alongside the pool but there was minimal foot traffic during our stay. The kids loved the pool! The house was very clean and the rental company was very responsive with a few questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!

More than adequate seating in the main living area of the house also. Many of the kitchen dishes are chipped and cracked and need to be replaced with new. Kitchen was well stocked otherwise. Kitchen freezer door handle fell off of the door the minute we tried to open it upon arrival. Not enough dish towels in the kitchen. Storage room downstairs, 2nd fridge is in bad shape and does not stay closed. AC for 4th floor of the house stopped working on 8/2, but you were responsive in getting the repair completed.

Great place with a few minor issues

We have stayed on the Cape for 14 years and it never disappoints. This year was no different. The only issues were the ice maker never made enough ice to keep up and the handle to the freezer is broken. It would make about 6-12 cubes a day. There was a minor issue with the garbage disposal and the water pressure, but those were easily fixed with a quick phone call. Public beach access is 50-100 yards to the left of the house, so expect it to be a little more crowded than other parts of the Cape. Other than a few minor issues, the place was great. You'll have awesome sunsets and a great beach to play on.

This was my feedback to the rental company: ā€œ As we wrap up our week, I wanted to share how disappointed we feel by our vacation rental choice. First, let me say that we own a vacation rental. So we certainly understand that there are certain things that can happen during a vacation that are not within anyoneā€™s control to prevent. The issues we had with this house do not fall under that category. To name our top disappointments: - We did not have a single outdoor garbage can until Monday evening. When I called Monday, I was told by a VERY rude woman on the phone that I needed to ā€œbe patientā€ because the cans get brought down on Monday. So yā€™all just expect guests to let garbage pile up for 2+ days after checking in??? We got ONE Monday evening. The rest were left at the end of the road. So I called and messaged everyday until 3 more cans were brought down on Thursday evening. - I called and messaged about the water issue. There was not enough water to flush the toilet or take a shower if the washing machine was on. I have paid top dollar for a house that doesnā€™t offer the simple modern convenience of using water in two places at one time? In a house that sleeps 12-14???! I was told someone would be coming out to check it. No one ever did. - I reported that a storm blew over and destroyed the grill and requested a replacement since we grill every evening. A replacement was brought with no grates and not hooked up to Propane. So I had to call/message again to get grates. - Nowhere in the listing for this house did it mention that the house is right next to the shared walkway to the beach for the entire street. There was constant traffic along the side of the pool. Just weird! I would have never rented this house had I known that. - There is also a house being built next door. Obviously the owner of the house nor the rental company have any control over that. But, it would have been nice to have been made aware that we wouldnā€™t even be able to Hear our music or each otherā€™s voices at the pool over the saws RIGHT NEXT TO THE POOL! - Then this evening, as we are packing up, we pull back the covers in the bed our daughter has been sleeping in and find a pair of menā€™s underwear. I donā€™t even know what to say. Suffice it to say, we are appalled.ā€ Want to know what the response from the rental company was to that email? ā€œIā€™m very sorry your experience was not good.ā€ Ha! They donā€™t care, yā€™all. Stay somewhere else.

The only complaints I have was construction on both sides of the house. Their was no privacy at the pool area because of construction guys always there. The other complaint was water pressure on top floor was not good between 4:00 and 8:00 in the afternoon. We have been coming to Cape San Blas for years and always love the beach and the park. A wonderful place to bring the family.

It needs some updating but you can overlook that as itā€™s such a perfect house. Plenty of room for all of us. Great place to stay at the cape. Had everything you need from pots and pans to a blender. Height chair and play pen. Gate to keep the little ones & or dog on the upstairs floor or deck. The second frig was a godā€™s sent. And the bathroom by the pool was great for the kids. Would highly recommend for families of any age.

We wanted breach front, and in only a few steps, you are on the beach. The home was great, clean, and comfortable.The rental company was top notch. Due to last minute changes, we need to book a second home, and they were accommodating. Looking forward to our next trip to the Cape.

Great Vacation Home

We just returned from a great visit to Cape San Blas. We very much enjoyed the house and pool. It was a perfect location and had very easy access to the beach. There was plenty of space for our group of 7. The elevator was clutch for elderly parents. Only small complaints are cosmetic to the home. The outdoor light off the main floor deck was only hanging by the wires. The outdoor restroom door and outdoor shower handles were extremely rusty and were often hard to use. Obviously from years of salty water/air but they could use an update. The management company was very quick to respond to a couple of questions pre-trip and luckily we had no issues/reasons to call them during our vacation. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Great location with some small issues.

I will start by saying we really enjoyed our trip. The house was right in the beach and pretty nice. There were some issues though, mostly very minor. First, the house is fairly new with nice amenities. The problem is the quality of the construction. It was definitely built with the priority being speed. 1) The wood floors were full of gaps up to an inch. 2) The exterior door hinges were rusty and caused the doors to be difficult to shut. 3) The porches wooden bannisters were nailed with small finishing nails and were coming loose or falling off in spots. It was very scary, since we had 2 very young children with us. 4) Only 1 TV had cable service, which was never fixed. 5). All outside lights were not functioning and never fixed. 6) the fence around the pool was falling down and one gate did not shut. The management company was very quick to respond and fix what they could. They were top notch! Overall it was a wonderful vacation! We really enjoyed the Cape and will return, but we will choose a different property.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are very partial to Cape&Coast Rentals. Weā€™ve been renting from them for 5+ years and are typically always satisfied with our rental and our stay. However, this year was a little different. We were disappointed with the house and the way that Cape&Coast chose to handle some of the issues. The house is not in the condition that the photos on the Internet show. The outside shower, which is not shown in the photos on the Internet, is very rusted and corroded, so much so that it sprays out the back side of the shower and creates a large puddle and hazard in the pool/ grill area. The deck stairs that go up to the porch, are uneven, so much so that one of our family members lost an entire big toenail on the wooden stairs, and was unable to get in the ocean the remainder of his trip. The upstairs shower leaks into the pendant lighting in the kitchen. The carport lights are so corroded, that you have to jiggle the switch risking electrocution to get them to work. The back doors stuck so badly that you couldnā€™t get them open without using much force. The pool upon arrival had crabs and debris, along with copious amounts of sand in it. The elevator button gets stuck on the second floor which we didnā€™t figure out until around day 4 out of 7 days so it made it a bit difficult the beginning part of the week. There were also many lights missing out of receptacles, along with beds that had seemingly not been swept under, dirty dishes and for the current status of our country it didnā€™t feel overall as clean as it should have been.Cape&Coast was notified on several occasions about these issues, they did come out to look at a couple of the issues, they provided solutions that did not help and then some of the issues they didnā€™t address at all. We will stay with Cape&Coast again, but not at this property again. I do think that the owners need to take a good look at the condition and maybe review the property, especially for the amount of money t

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Rosemary Dunes with our 2 children and 2 sets of grandparents and it was wonderful. The gulf front views were amazing and you were just steps from a white sandy beach! The pool was a must for us and it was a regular size (unlike some other gulf front homes that tend to have really small pools that are only 3-4 ft deep). There were some minor issues with getting the pool heated but Cape and Coast was wonderful to deal with and dealt with the problem promptly. The decor and seating and bedrooms were all beautiful. The only minor complaint would be there were not enough plates/cups/pots/pans/other kitchen accessories etc... for a 5 bedroom house. We only had 8 people but if we had a few more people it would not have been enough. I am sure that would be an easy fix. Also cape and coast was really great because I left my thermometer there and I could find a replacement when we got back home because of the shortage due to the coronavirus. So they found it and mailed it to me!!
