This is a comfy, cozy, and clean historic farm house with all the modern finishings. The owner was so nice, she really has thought of everything.

Ideal Pastoral Setting

Ideal location for nearby family reunion. Clean, comfortable, spacious, well-appointed, outstanding on-site host/hostess. Grandchildren enjoyed provided toys, including a wagon for hauling them on a mowed trail, and roasting marshmallows over the gas fire pit. All enjoyed the homemade bread and cookies upon arrival.

Gracious hospitality like no other!

His Harvest Home is not your typical home rental. Jeannie and Curtis ensure that everything you need is available, and even provide things you didn't know you needed! Like fresh baked sourdough bread and cookies as we entered the home.They have restored the farmhouse where Curtis grew up, and preserved that wonderful story, while updating the home for modern convenience. My husband and I grew up in Crawfordsville, and were in town with our grown children for a family event. This home was the perfect home base. Many thanks to the Stevens for opening their home and hearts to us!

Exceeded all expectations!

I have never experienced such a truly warm welcome- complete with the most amazing home baked cookies 🥰 Our hostess Jeannie is the most lovely woman in every way - she so graciously shared not only her secret cookie recipe but also some of the history of her family and the beautifully restored farmhouse. We enjoyed every detail of the decor which was lovingly sprinkled with priceless family heirlooms and told a heartwarming story of a home full of children growing up on a real, hardworking midwestern farm. We will certainly return to visit with Jeannie and we look forward to seeing the property as the seasons change.

This property was so beautiful and peaceful. We were in town for a wedding. The beds were very comfortable. Jeannie and Curtis were very helpful and informative. We enjoyed our stay immensly.

This property never disappoints! Jeannie and Curtis are amazing. The best homemade cookies when we arrive, everything we need to make a fire in the solo stove outside. Very peaceful stay. We will be backā€¦

Dream Farmhouse

Our family of 4 generationsā€”9 of usā€”came to stay for 2 nights in this beautiful old farmhouse. It was exactly what we needed. Beautifully appointed with absolutely everything we could want or need. Plenty of space to gather, inside and out. So clean and cheery, with a lovely mix of antique and modern conveniences. I couldnā€™t have loved it more. The hosts were available and so kind. I hope to come again with my family and have more time there.

A Beautiful Retreat!

We happened upon this gem when we were in town for a wedding. There were 6 adults and we all enjoyed the home and the property that included some beautiful outdoor spaces, very much! Jeannie the host is incredible :) she met us as we pulled in, gave us a tour and a brief history of the home, which is very cool. She also brought us baked sweet breads that she prepared and some fresh vegetables from her garden. Cannot recommend this home enough and if ever Crawfordsville beckons us again, we know where to stay!

Family Reunion

Wonderful Stay at a Historic Farmhouse We recently stayed at a beautifully renovated 115-year-old farmhouse, and our experience was fantastic. The check-in process was smooth, and the listing accurately depicted the property. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Our group ranged from infants to children, young adults, and older adults, and the accommodations were perfect for everyone. The hosts were very flexible, allowing us to pitch a tent in the backyard and park our sonā€™s RV in the driveway. We enjoyed campfires, and the garden provided fresh vegetables and flowers, which added to the charm of the stay. There were plenty of activities for the children and lots of space for them to run around. The hosts were nearby in a renovated barn but were never intrusive. They were available when needed but gave us our space to enjoy the property fully. Their presence was helpful yet unobtrusive. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to return in the future.

Perfect home away from home for Purdue graduation stay!

This stay was just delightful! We have stayed in many VRBO's and this home is the most charming. The owners have restored and decorated this home with the utmost care and thought. They also go out of their way to make you feel at home with fresh-baked cookies, excellent recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. We stayed here for our son's graduation from Purdue University, West Lafayette is a 40 minute drive. However, this was a great place to stay and relax when not busy with graduation activities. Lovely gardens, good kitchen supplies, abundant towels and linens. Well lit at night and easy to find.

Lovely farmhouse

This beautiful home was the perfect place for our large family to stay while in town for a wedding. The house was very clean, comfortable and inviting. Beautiful historical farmhouse for the whole family

His Havest Home is a beautiful rental property filled with family history. From the adults to the toddlers, everyone in our family enjoyed their stay. The home is equipped with plenty of useful amenities. We particularly appreciated the sharp knives and newer kitchen equipment when making meals. Jeannie and Curtis were kind and wonderful hosts. Jeannie responded quickly to messages and gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. Knowing we had two toddlers and a baby with us, they were quick to offer a travel crib for our use and brought out toys for the toddlers to use outside. Everything was done to assure our comfort and it was greatly appreciated. We honestly wish our stay could have been longer. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable rental home for the whole family.

Hiking trip

We went hiking at nearby State Parks. This was the perfect place for us to stay. The house is so nice and comfortable. The owners were a joy to get to know a little. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Lovely homey farm stay

My family spent a weekend here and the space was perfect and so well decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed the space! Jeannie met my parents at check in and gave them a history of the farmhouse and baked fresh cookies. I am sure we will stay again!

We love this property! We were in town to drop our son off at college. The house, property and owners are amazing. The decor is straight out of a magazine. Jeannie made us feel very welcome and answered all questions we had. She even baked us cookies! We will back again in November! Canā€™t wait..
