Lovely lakeside home on gorgeous Lake Iroquois! Enjoy 150 feet of shoreline and lake activities all year long at this beautifully furnished and well-appointed 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home. This unique home has high-end finishes, hardwood, slate floors throughout, and expansive views of the lake. Enter into the large relaxing great room and you’re immediately at home. A full kitchen and dining room make cooking meals and entertaining easy. The entire upper level of the home is devoted to an amazing bedroom suite that has its own balcony perched above the water for relaxing and enjoying the views of the lake. The primary suite also features an oversized bathroom with slate floors, a tiled shower, and a large soaking tub. The 2nd bedroom is on the main level and has a queen-sized bed with a half bathroom directly across the hall. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and other water sports. This home is a great getaway for all seasons and is perfectly located for easy travel to downtown Burlington, Stowe, hiking, skiing, biking, shopping, and great restaurants.

What a great stay in a private waterfront home! So many updates, such a great vibe! We enjoyed cocktails on the patio, fished and swam! Sarah was super responsive and such a great host! Would absolutely recommend this host and home!

Hinesburg cottage

Beautiful cottage and great quiet location. House is very clean and comfortable. A well equipt grocery store 5 minutes away. A short drive to Burlington and other beautiful attractions. A great place to stay

Great host, awesome location!

The house was perfect for our family and pet. All the amenities of our own home with an unbelievable location on the lake. Swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing were all part of our time at the home. It was the perfect place for our busy family to spend time together to reconnect.

Wonderful lakeside getaway

A beautifully crafted and comfortable cottage-like house that truly is a quiet retreat. No matter the season, the charm of this setting is undeniable. After the first night, this vaulted into one of the top two places we have ever stayed on VRBO/HomeAway over the years. You will not be disappointed by either the accommodations or the incredible host. We hope to have the good fortune to return.

2nd visit- still great

This is the 2nd stay for my husband and I (and our dog Austin) and it was just as wonderful as the first. The house is SO lovely! It’s perfectly decorated and comfortable in every room and very clean! The owner Sarah- communicated all needed info in a timely manner and checked in with us to make sure we were settled and didn’t need anything. Overall- another great stay and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

Wonderful Winter Getaway

We visited the Lakefront House when the lake was still frozen. It provided a welcome repose from our usual high paced life in New York City. Even though it was by no means high season, all the restaurants, sites were still open, and a few walking were close by. All in all I wonderful experience.

Great Family Vacation

We wanted a rental house right on the lake to visit Burlington. I think it ended up being better than being right on Lake Champlain - quiet, peaceful, great views of the lake, short distance to swimming beach on Lake Iroquois. House has kayaks and canoes for use, which were great. Clean, good amenities. We were able to get into Burlington in about 25 minutes. Good restaurants closer to the house in Williston or Richmond.

Honeymoon in Vermont

The pictures of the property do not do it justice! Property manager is fantastic and goes the extra mile! We were celebrating our honeymoon and the extras were extremely thoughtful. The views and the lake were amazing. The main bedroom and bath were first class and the decor is comfortable and tasteful. The location for privations perfect but still close enough to restaurants and shopping. Would absolutely recommend this piece of heaven with 10 stars. Only issue was spotty cell service

Peaceful Escape

We attended a family wedding in the area and this cottage was a great place to stay! Very close to restaurants and venues in Burlington and other towns. My favorite part was enjoying morning coffee on the patio, deck or in front of one of the many big picture windows, gazing at the lake. We didn’t have the time but would have loved to have kayaked on the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Please note that the stairs are narrow and open and not easily navigated by our small dog (we carried her).

Nicely located house that could be cleaner

We liked the location of the house, the furnishings and the great view from the upstairs bedroom. We didn't like the bedroom on the first floor, which is quite dark and somewhat reminiscent of a cellar room. I would have liked the house to be in a better condition. Both the bathrooms and the kitchen area (sink, kitchen utensils) were not clean.

Pleasant Surprise:)

This Lakeside home was as comfortable as it was charming. The setting of the house is such that you feel a complete sense of privacy. The kayaks are in good condition and my husband and I swam and kayaked almost every day. Oh, and the bathtub - I don't even like to take baths, but I did so here! The only advice we would have for those considering staying here, is that the stairs to the master bedroom are narrow and steep. That said, I like to imbibe and can trip while standing, and it didn't stop me:) The entry to the lake at this cove is nice and shallow - be prepared for a few weeds to begin with, if you like to swim, but a few strokes and it's all good. All said and done, if you seek peace and quiet on a lovely lake with very little boat traffic, you're sure to enjoy staying here. Given the opportunity, we would absolutely love to stay here again!

Beautiful cottage

The cottage is a beauty and a wonderful place to stay for a small family get together. We had lots of events in Burlington over a graduation weekend and enjoyed being able to retreat to this restful place. We appreciate the beautiful art and all the lovely touches around the cottage that encourage one to relax and be at home.

Perfect place to get away

If anything, this place was even better in person than the photos showed. The view was amazing. A lovely, quiet place on the lake, it was great to get away, but close enough to Burlington and Waterbury for more things to do, like Ben & Jerry's and the Cider Mill. The Property Manager, Sarah, was very communicative prior to the trip, and she checked in during the trip to see how we were doing and to offer recommendations. While we didn't have any issues during our stay, I feel she would have been helpful had anything happened. And it was nice to look at the stars through the skylight on a super comfortable bed.

Lovely Lakehouse

The entire experience was amazing! Property manager- Sarah, communicated often enough to provide details for the house and our stay, but gave us our privacy as well, which was exactly what we wanted/needed from our time here. The house was beautiful and well maintained and perfectly appointed. Plus it was super clean and toasty warm upon arrival (October can be chilly). Overall- fantastic experience and we hope to stay here again!

Perfect Fall Weekend

This property is perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was exactly as described and the location is amazing. Sarah, the host, was great, not that we had any complaints to talk to her about. We went into Burlington one day and went hiking another. We hope to be back soon.

Glorious fall foliage

Couldn’t have had a better location for driving around to see the beautiful fall foliage in Vermont. Very conveniently located close to Burlington but the town of Hinesburg had everything we needed. Some of the best views were right out the backdoor with a view of the lake. Would definitely recommend this unique home. Sarah does a wonderful job making this rental accommodating to the renters.

Picture perfect cottage on the lake

This was our second stay at this charming cottage and hopefully it won’t be our last. The cottage is directly on beautiful Lake Iroquois. The lake is very clean and perfect for swimming and kayaking. There are beautiful views of the lake from every room. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable as well as all the seating. The area has some very nice restaurants and easy access to Burlington. Sarah was very kind and helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit.
