Tallavalley Farm is located in the stunning hills of the Tallegalla area and situated only 2kms from the Warrego highway. We offer a quiet, secluded stay with stunning country views which can be enjoyed from the deck overlooking the farm and valley. It is less than an hour from Brisbane but you will feel like you have the country to yourself and is only a short distance from many amenities and attractions.

Beautiful place and lovely hosts

The property has beautiful views, and a peaceful vibe. The hosts were super hospitable and friendly, and my young daughter loved feeding the goats, chickens, and horses each day. Perfect for a small family, looking to get away for a few days.

A very neat tidy well presented retreat we could easily live there!

We only had 2 nights very restful and secluded awsome veiws and walks everything you need for a great farm experience we will be back with the grandkids for a longer stay!

Perfect getaway

It was a perfect getaway for my friends and myself. We especially loved that we could have BBQ and also the tractor ride around the farm to look at the animals. Thank you for a wonderful and comfortable stay!

Relaxing escape to the country…with the dog.

A comfy, well appointed farmhouse with a lovely view, where we could bring our dog, and use as a base to visit with family. Dave was welcoming host who promptly responded to any queries.

Great Farm Stay

Had a wonderful time in Tallavalley. Accommodation was superb and so comfortable. Dave was extremely helpful in educating us about the animals which were varied and entertaining. New calves were amazing. Our visiting grandson Max loved Oma’s holiday house. Highly recommended.

Peaceful Short Break

A lovely property to give a taste of country living only an hour from the city. Enjoyed the peace with only the sounds of nature and interaction with the resident chickens, goats, horses and cattle. House is spacious and well equipped. Very responsive host. Hope to return.

Family escape - long weekend

Tallevalley is a magical place to just relax. It is beautifully appointed and has a wonderful deck that looks over the valley and rolling hills. While you feel a million miles away from civilization, there are many quaint places close by to get coffee or meals. We can recommend Josh's Coffee just off the highway, and Phat Boyz for slow cooked deliciousness. Tallevalley was one of our BEST-EVER family escapes.

Girls weekend

Goes without saying that we all totally enjoyed ourselves for the 4th time at the farm.We will be back again and again.Love it.If I win the lotto I will offer to buy it and all the animals that come with it.Thanks very much David and Joanne for allowing us to visit again.

Just Gorgeous

The house is as described and sits on a hill that overlooks the beauty of God’s creation. My boys 8,14,16 loved the animals and enjoyed the experience. We also enjoyed the campfire. We met Caleb, Joanne & David’s son, who let the boys follow him as he fed the animals and took them for a buggy ride. It gave the experience that extra sweet touch. Thank you for a beautiful getaway! Gorgeous location close to town

We booked this as a nice quiet spot to chill but to be close to friends in Ipswich. This is the perfect location. Close to town but unable to see or hear it. The house is clean and very well equipped with absolutely everything you could possible need. My daughter loved the horses, sheep, chickens and goats. The owners gave excellent check in instructions. So good infact that we had no issue finding it in the dark as we arrived later than expected. The only propblem was we weren't here long enough to really enjoy it. Next time we are down i will endeavour to book longer. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful property.

Relaxing stay Feb 6-9 2024 4 people from Canada

It was our first time in Australia and it was a very unique place to stay. The country side is peaceful and very interesting to watch as cattle and horses graze in the meadows and birds put on quite a show. The farm animals are friendly and enjoy human contact. The location is close to Ipswich via A2/M2. We did our grocery shopping at Costco and Woolworths and BWS. We drove to Downtown Brisbane and The Australian Zoo. The zoo was a good place to become aware of Australian animals. You can walk among the kangaroos and get close to the koalas. We also went to Queens Park in Ipswich to see Australian birds and animals. The aviary was spectacular. The park is free to see (donations) and Dave recommended it. He also recommended the Bottletree bar/grill for dining. We found the menu and food very good. Brian

Large immaculate house in a peaceful location

The house was a big surprise - it is much bigger than the photos suggest, with aircon and every single convenience you would want. Beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and decorated, my family of four (2 kids, 2 adults) just loved it. Cows and calves literally at your doorstep, a couple of chooks in the backyard, a lovely veranda to sit on and just soak up the serenity - it really was a lovely find. The owners are very accommodating. We were given permission to bring guinea pigs and a dog (ended up with just the guinea pigs though and realistically, you'd want to keep your dog tied up or locked into the veranda area - had we taken ours and left her unsecured, she'd have disappeared into those paddocks in a heart beat (no doubt having the time of her life, but I don't think the animals would have appreciated her!). I'd possibly consider installing a larger barbecue and some cleaning utensils for it although perhaps these are there and we simply couldn't locate them (sorry, we couldn't find anything beyond a basic scraper but did our best to clean it after use!). Very highly recommended - the house alone was a gift that kept giving, with total privacy and perfect for a bit of time out. Thank you for having us!

Perfectly peaceful farmstay.

My family stayed 4 nights for a wedding nearby. The deck was perfect to sit and socialise, with views of the rolling hills. All the beds were comfy, house was clean and spacious and we all enjoyed feeding the animals. Dave was an excellent host, very helpful and friendly. Can definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you Dave and Jo for sharing your beautiful property with us.

Lovely Countryside Getaway!

We all had a really relaxing weekend at the farm stay. The property has everything you would want and the hosts did a fantastic job making it really cosy for our stay. We loved the senery around the property and we really enjoyed being near all the farm animals that lived there. We can’t wait to book again at this farm house and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay somewhere quiet and relaxing.

Peace and quiet and lovely views of the countryside await you here along with friendly hosts and even more friendly goats, cows, chickens and horses. We used it as a base for the nearby mountain bike trails but could happily have sat on the deck all day just watching the wildlife - perfect place to unwind
