Ocean Groove Beach House

Just one and a half hours from Melbourne, Ocean Groove is an ideal getaway home away from home. Situated just 700m from the front gate to the surf, this funky house, great for families and groups of friends alike, is set on a 600 sqm block on a quiet Street and has everything you need for a great holiday.

The house is an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. A few minutes drive gets you into Ocean Grove town centre where you will find Coles supermarket and a wide choice of fresh food and other shopping along with cafes, restaurants and take aways. The Safeway supermarket is just up the hill and is a close by alternative.

Child , this house has plenty of indoor and outdoor space and has all the amenities you will want for a short or long break. The beach and other activities offered by Ocean Grove and the surrounding area are within easy reach.

There are 3 bedrooms in the house and the family flat to the rear in addition. Ocean Groove can accommodate up to 3 families/4 couples with a variety of bedding options available including a cot, junior bed and bunks.

The house is heated with gas fired heating and is warm and cozy during the cooler months. A spilt system a/c unit keeps the house cool in summer when needed.

Outside are safe and secure gardens front and back. The north facing front garden, which is shaded by beautiful eucalypts, is a great playground and includes a full size Springfree trampoline and a small climbing frame and slide. For the grown ups there is a sofa on the front porch for those lazy summer afternoons and an outdoor dining setting which seats 8. The BBQ is found in the front garden too.

ACCOMMODATION

The main living areas and kitchen have been freshly decorated and furnished and offer plenty of room to eat and relax.

The open plan kitchen and dining room includes a large dining table that accommodates up to 10 when fully extended.

The lounge has a comfortable sofa (which is also a sofa bed), music system for the radio or plug in your iPod/iPhone/iPad for your own tunes. There is also a flat screen Sony Bravia TV and DVD player.

The kitchen is fully fitted with gas hob and oven, full size fridge/freezer and is fully equipped with everything you need including crockery and cutlery, pots and pans, cooking utensils, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. There are basic grocery items complimentary in the kitchen

The bathroom in the house has a WC and shower.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed and plenty of clothes storage space.

The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and also plenty of clothes storage space.

The 3rd Bedroom has a double bunk suitable for children.

The family unit in the back garden is 2 bedrooms, a small kitchenette with fridge, bathroom with shower and WC. The main room is a queen bed, cot and change table. Thee separate bedroom room has 1 set of bunks and a junior bed

We provide doonas, doona covers and pillows (pillows and mattresses all have protectors for your comfort). We also provide tea towels and bath mats. Guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillow slips and bath/beach/hand towels.
