We’re sorry to hear the guest was unhappy, but we feel this review is not a fair reflection of the property or the experience we provide. The house was professionally cleaned prior to arrival, and no issues were reported at check-in. After being notified of the complaints, we arranged a full inspection — no plumbing faults or water quality problems could be found. The property runs on bore water, which is clearly disclosed in the listing and can naturally cause some staining, but it is safe and suitable for all regular use. Rubbish was left behind by the guest, which is not in line with house rules. Based on the timing of the cancellation and the nature of the complaints, it appeared the group may have only intended to stay for the weekend at the end of the school holidays. Nonetheless, we processed a refund for four of the seven nights and waived the $200 rubbish removal fee as a gesture of goodwill. We stand by the condition and presentation of the property and remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and accurate experience for all our guests.
