Healdsburg Cottage Walk to the Plaza, Workspace

The cottage is a well-appointed, stand-alone unit with a private gate and entrance which provides an ideal retreat for touring the Sonoma and Napa wine country. Located in a garden setting 5 blocks from the Healdsburg Plaza in the central, historic district, it is adjacent to a 2-story, 1880's Victorian farmhouse in a friendly, pedestrian neighborhood. The cottage (600 sq. ft.) sleeps up to four people and offers an open, sunny living area with vaulted ceilings, a bedroom* and large bathroom with a shower facility. The window seat overlooks the cottage garden. (* Note that there is no door between the living room and the bedroom. These two areas are semi-private and separated by a short hallway.)

The setting accommodates visitors who want to relax in privacy. The bedroom has a very comfortable (brand new 12/22) Saatva Classic Luxury queen bed, which gets rave reviews, with high thread-count sheets and high-quality towels/washcloths. The living area includes a Scandinavian Design queen sleeper sofa with a very comfortable memory foam mattress. The living area has a workspace with a desk, a USB charging station, and speedy Wifi. Amenities include filtered and sparkling water, local coffee with a Ninja coffee maker/foamer for specialty coffee drinks, a coffee press (for those who like it simple), and a variety of teas and an electric tea kettle. The cottage is perfectly suited for simple food prep as it is equipped with a sink, utensils, dishes, bowls, microwave, toaster oven, and under-counter refrigerator. An induction stovetop is available on request. The use of outdoor bbq is also available on request.

We also provide cable TV, Bluetooth speaker, and Wifi.

Enjoy dining outdoors in our quiet, private garden area, or read and relax in nearby redwood chairs. The cottage is within an easy walk to award-winning restaurants and shopping. It is very quiet and peaceful at night.

Perfect!

The property description is completely accurate, but the experience is even more wonderful. It is a perfect location with a pleasant walk to the square, but nicely removed from the traffic and parking congestion. Hosts are very gracious and made everything easy. We loved it.

Charming, Comfortable Cottage in Excellent Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kelly and David's Healdsburg Cottage. It was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. We appreciated the fine coffees available when we arrived and Kelly's responsiveness and care in handling a question we had about adjusting the thermostat during a radical change in the weather while we were there. Truly a charming and comfortable base for exploring Healdsburg and its surrounding area. We will definitely want to stay here when we return. We look forward to enjoying the lovely little garden with outside seating in nice weather.

Comfy Cottage

This is a great little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walking distance to the square. The owners communicated before our arrival with directions and were quick to answer our questions. There is a nice outdoor area in the garden to enjoy. Unfortunately it rained while we were there otherwise we definitely would have taken advantage of the outdoor seating and firepit. The couch and window seat were great for relaxing before and after wine tasting. Perfect little place for a couple, we enjoyed a relaxing getaway.

Darling cottage in a great location

Just an adorable space and so well appointed! Kelly was easy to communicate with and the check in process was cake! We could walk to the Healdsburg plaza and itā€™s a quick drive to tons of wineries. We will definitely be visiting again!

We loved our VRBO in Healdsburg! It was immaculate, the yard was beautiful with flowers and Paco the Pup was very friendly and welcoming. We felt safe walking into town, which was lovely. Kelly & David were delightful, helpful and great hosts.

This little cottage/bungalow is located about 5 blocks (10 min walk) from the square. It is in the "back yard" of the owner's home but still feels private and secluded. It is the perfect size for two people. Parking is always available right outside the gate.

Great Place to Stay!

My wife and I had a fantastic 4 night trip to Healdsburg, and David and Kelly's cottage was the perfect place to stay. It is on a quiet street a short walk from the plaza. The on-street parking is right in front of the cottage. Everything was fresh and clean, and David and Kelly were excellent hosts. I highly recommend staying at the cottage.

We are a couple in our early 60s and have lived in Healdsburg for 23 years. We have raised our sons here and all have a mutual interest in music and art. Gardening, traveling, cooking, reading, and hosting friends are other pastimes.

Our Victorian 2-story home dates from the 1880s. The cottage was built in the 90's, but, is in keeping with the architecture of the house. While the cottage is relatively small, high ceilings and tall windows in the living room provide a well-lighted, open feeling. It's layout is cozy without feeling crowded. Our tall fence, garden and separate gated entrance allow for privacy from the street and our house. Guests can park and leave their cars as we are 5 blocks from the Plaza, with unique boutiques, bookstores, cafes, bakeries, world-class restaurants and numerous tasting rooms.

We are one of the few vacation rentals allowed and licensed within the city limits of Healdsburg. We are in an historic neighborhood with unique architecture and an old world feel. Our neighborhood is friendly, quiet and low-key. We live on our property and make a special effort to welcome our guests either in-person or by being available to them for questions, recommendations, directions, if needed. However, we are very respectful of the need for privacy and take cues from our guests in this respect.
